However, the owner was not as upfront and informative as he shoud have been. We called to get a breaker replaced for the water heater. He sent a truck to our home with two service technicians. Long story short, he admitted that it was a one person job but since he had two techs in the truck he billed us for both. The bill was 750.00 to replace one breaker. When we complained, he said, "I'm sorry we are to expensive for you." If I was told that two technicians were coming and being billed as such, I would have called another company. You decide for yourself if this is fair business or not.

For some reason, the Yelp app would not let me update that review directly which is why I am doing it here Izak did the work for the latest job on April 8th 2025. He did the troubleshooting on the garbage disposal not working. He found a faulty switch and receptacle and replaced things as should be. Just like the other tech he was focused, efficient, swift in the matter while being customer friendly as well. Thank you Isak!. Just as any other company JJ electric Service is a combination of the people who do the work per se and those managing the work. The two people with whom I connected were Richard and Jen. Just as their techs, they communicate well with the customers, and show transparency and honesty about what they can or cannot do. Electrical work is expensive yet the cost of both jobs shows that they are not taking advantage of their customers. Thank you. As I normally do I probably will update in the future most likely to confirm that everything done on this latest job is still working well! I am recommending JJ electric and their techs without reservation.

I love when I call someplace to make an appointment when people are cheerful and stay on top of their appointment the way these people do. They kept in touch with me prior to the date that he was coming to do the electric as everybody knows on the coast. It's hard to get an electrician. And it takes a while. I always offer to wait until they have another job in my area to come down from the north to my town of Wheeler. I put in the order and was promptly called back, with an appointment. She didn't know exactly what time, but stayed in touch with me. I just love people that actually give you service. I felt the price was reasonable, and he was done promptly. He announced himself upon arrival and went straight to work. And of course an excellent job. I highly recommend them because I've never had a problem. I live in 131 year old building and it has its challenges. Again I commend this business for excellent quality and for an excellent staff when you call.

They didn't seem prepared when they arrived to complete the job, even though I scheduled an estimate and walkthrough with them week prior. They didn't measure where the electrical needed to be moved in the ceiling which resulted in guess work when drilling holes in my ceiling hence the random holes in my pantry and entry way ceiling. Not very professional, and when I expressed my disappointment in their work, they were rude and told me I can use a garbage bag to fill the holes? I completely understand dry-wall and patching is not contracted in the statement of work, you are electricians HOWEVER these are holes due to errors made not because of necessity to complete the job. With that said, I understand mistakes happen so my boyfriend and I wanted to give them the opportunity to correct these mistakes however we still have not received a response from the owner. I'm giving 2 stars because they did complete the work that I asked for: Relocating 3 light switches from a wall we were removing (wall had already been demo'd and only studs were left- making things very transparent for them) However one of the outlets isn't completely straight and one of the outlets you can slightly seen where the electrician over cut when making the hole for the new outlet. Things that I can live with but definitely not the high quality work I was expecting and that I paid for. Will not be return customers and would not recommend for any size job- small and definitely not large.

This summer I turned it back on again, it ran for a couple days and started leaking again and I thought, huh, this is weird. So instead of calling for a service fee, it is the weekend I went online, went to YouTube, and saw how to take the thing apart. I noticed that the drain tube for the condenser was not hooked up to the drain PAN. So every time it was working, the water wasn't going anywhere, except for down the front of our wall. Anyway, long story short, I'm sure it was just to skip over, but if your unit is dripping, take it apart and make sure that the back of the drip PAN is hooked into the condenser water line probably using wrong terminology.

I called Renaud and they picked up on the first ring. A service tech (Gary) showed up at our house in Kalama within 45 minutes. He diagnosed the problem within a few minutes: a blown 3 amp fuse in the furnace blower section (in the garage) caused by a frayed wire in the bottom of the condenser unit (outside the house). He took the lid off of the condenser unit, climbed inside, repaired the damaged wire; all while it was raining. He replaced the fuse, and we were back online in less than 30 minutes. The service call and work was less than $300 and we were very pleased with Gary's professionalism and expertise. The price was affordable and we're grateful to Renaud.
