It is now my favourite way to eat cornbread with turnip greens. The green beans were still green with a slight crunch, not the most southern way to cook green beans, however, it is definitely my preferred. It was a little sweeter than I liked, but still delicious. Now for the mainstay, the hamburger steak. It was flavourful, and still had a great taste of beef. I did not detect any fillers, which is many people's home method, I think? It had a glossy gravy poured over it, which was even more delightful. Beef and gravy will always be one of my comfort foods.
