Good atmosphere and the staff was very nice. 5/5 - quiche with goat cheese, spinach & potato. It paired perfectly with the salad which was a mix of leafy greens, chickpea salad, and pickled beets. All amazing but the beets were the best I've ever had. Flat white was good too! 5/5 - pancakes, streaky bacon, & maple syrup. My husband ordered this, it was really good. 6/5 - lemon blueberry muffin & plain croissant. We got this take away for a snack later. I'm sad I didn't try to there because it was amazing and I would have ordered more. They really know what they are doing with the pastries.

It's popular and oftentimes there is a line to get a table. The staff does their best to seat guests as soon as possible. Note the closing time of 8pm is firm, so be sure to arrive before that. Staff is kind but due to the busyness of the restaurant, service can be scattered or slow, so remember, you're on vacation. Wine and beer available. Parking can be difficult in the area. Allow time to find parking, if you're driving.

It was chocolate with a hint of whiskey flavor. It is made with real whiskey. The butterscotch and honey caramel went well with the chocolate whiskey. The dingle sea salt flavor was vanilla with a hint of saltiness. The lemon curd ice cream was creamy with a lot of lemon flavor. The staff are awesome! While you are waiting in line, they bring you samples of whatever flavor you want to try. You can try as many as you want. Lol I tried about eight different kinds. The ice cream comes in a cone or a cup. It's six euro for two scoops not too bad. The store is on one of the main streets with restaurants and bars. It is a walk up counter. Seating is not available. The store is light and bright.
Gotta have Murphy's Ice Cream when in Ireland.

It was 2 hours before closing and the workers had already packed up to close with only vanilla ice cream available. Then my "bueno" hot chocolate had no beuno, came in lumps, tasted earthy and the worker did not know what the product even was when i was pointing to the huge poster that was on the wall. To top it off, when we were leaving, the other worker started shouting that we did not pay despite me having paid in cash just beforehand, making us both extremely embarrassed and confused. I think this spot has horrible staff.

It's right near where we live, but we haven't been out down the turnpike road in a couple of weeks so we had not seen it. I must say I was very impressed. We found Brian Hackett hard at work in his jewelry studio, which I think has taken over the Crafts Gallery space. In any case, we were impressed by Brian's work but were not in the market for jewelry, so we moved along. In the other wing of the building, we were astounded to find the most AMAZING little bakery - to think we almost drove right by this place and didn't even know it existed. Fabiola, Brian's partner, has brought a little piece of France to this quiet corner of Ireland! Her delicate pastries and exquisite desserts reflect professional training and an artistic eye. They taste every bit as good as they look, too... I am still dreaming about the raspberry tart. Oh, la la. Fabiola herself is a welcoming host and will make you feel right at home as you enjoy her sun-bathed cafe, which overlooks the patio garden and fields beyond. A magical place, with cheerful touches of color and character in every inch of the decor...the perfect spot to sit and stay a while as you savor a mouth-watering pastry or scone and linger over a cup of dark, true coffee. Not to be missed if you are passing through Doolin. If the signs for the Doolin Crafts Gallery lead you astray, here is my best attempt at directions: take R479 northeast out of Doolin. About 1.0km out of town, you will see a large white church on a right-hand corner. Take a right on the lane just before it (L1036, I believe). The cafe and jewelry gallery will just a few hundred meters up on your right.
