I don't know if her clippers were dull but he was shaved with long patches left. His legs were always hand scissored but she shaved them as well. Face was shaved down and patchy. He looks like he was rolling in a field all day. Not soft and fluffy. Wish I could post pics. And I had to cut his bangs which were choppy and crooked. His groom always took a minimum of two hours but she was done in one hour and his ears were wet when I picked him up. we left in -20 c temp. so upset. The first time I met J&M, they came by to get to know my pets and collect the key. They took a lot of time saying hi to each cat and learning about her personality. I immediately felt safe leaving my animals in their hands, and from that point I used their services many more times, including over the Christmas holidays. I was always so impressed with their care. They would call if they had any questions, clean up very thoroughly, and write a very cute report of who did what and how much everyone ate. They would also play with my pets and keep a close eye on how everyone was doing, which was impressive because I have two anti-social (ex-feral) cats. I loved coming home and reading about what my pets are up to! I don't have J&M come visit anymore because I moved away from Waterloo, and I deeply miss having such a great resource nearby. I highly recommend Janice and Murray and WPS. They have fair prices and they care very deeply.

I used their dog walking and Pet Taxi services and while I was (until I fired them) a good and trusting customer they were lying - BETRAYING me behind my back to an unprofessional Vet. They had no right or even logical reason to lodge any FALSE complaints against me and the excellent loving care I take of my pets. I'd been abused, and later, after finally finding a safe home, someone broke in... and I was beaten again. I don't trust easily. I bark when I feel unsafe. I protect my space fiercely. I need distance from other dogs--not because I don't care, but because I care too deeply and don't know how to show it safely. But my human understood. They walk me on a 6' lead, often shortened to 2'. They sit on the ground beside me when I'm overwhelmed. They give me time, space, and safety to choose connection. That's how I learned how to say: "If I turn sideways and offer my shoulders or my butt... you can touch me." It's not much, but it's my way of saying "I trust you." And Justine listened. On October 4, 2023, Justine became my personal walker once a week. My human told her the truth--every challenge, every warning. She had every reason to walk away. But she didn't. She stayed.
