I've been taking my doggies here for about a year, and the staff is nothing but wonderful! I trust everyone there so much. They have an option for dogs who don't like loud noises, so they get to stay in the "orange room" side of the hotel. And while my dogs are always a little nervous when I drop them off, they always seem calm and happy when I pick them up. I haven't asked in about 6 months, but 6 months ago they didn't have a groomer on staff. I wish they did. But they still have LOTS of add on options for your dog's stay. I always like to order mine a doggy ice cream sundae for their last day. So now by this time, I'm hoping they know that "when they get an ice cream sundae, that means they'll get to go home that same day." And I love that they email (and add to the app) pictures of your dogs, one for every day they are there (at least!). *I use Wag when I travel on a plane, otherwise, it's not ideal for me to travel all the way out there. **Also LOVE that it is 24 hour pick up. We had a great experience at the Denver airport location for our cat. The staff was very attentive and friendly. My very spoiled kitty got attention, and I was comforted to be able to watch her on the camera on the app on my phone. It was so convenient to be able to drop off and pick up for flying out of DIA. OPEN 24/7 for pick-up and drop-off, right near the airport! Wag hotels did an amazing job with our dog, Maggie. She is a very anxious dog, not socialized with other dogs, who uses her humans as her security blanket. So you can imagine my panic when I both me and my husband were not able to take her with us when we were both, separately leaving the state for 4 days. We booked last minute, managing to snag her a private deluxe suite and book addition services all from their website. Treats, baths, walks, nail trimmings, and even play times were easy added with the click of a button. We were also able to check-in on her via the "wag cam" any time of day. I landed at DIA and drove 7min away to Wag Hotel to pick up Maggie. It was quick and easy. The staff said she did well too! So thankful for their help in taking care of our girl in a tough situation. We will Definitely be using them in the future if we're not able to take her along on a trip. read more

I can't say enough good things about my cat's first stay at Wag Hotels. It was a seamless and stress-free experience from start to finish. The location is incredibly convenient, right on the way to Denver International Airport, which made drop-off and pick-up quick and easy. Wag Hotels also offer pay-per-day parking with a shuttle to DIA! I was so impressed with the level of care. It was clear my cat was a top priority. I especially loved the daily updates with photos and the personal notes from each team member who worked with her. You can tell they pay attention to every detail--my cat had a large space with multiple climbing structures and a great window to look out of. While it is very convenient, the front desk staff is rarely friendly and their prices have skyrocketed since they put in the "rewards" program, which shows no rewards at all. They consistently fail to properly watch my dog in favor of saying he needs "special care," which BTW doubles the price. I just received a price for a 24-hour stay for my two dogs of about $315. Interestingly, the behaviors they say are causing the need for special care are not noted at home or my dog trainer's sessions. But, they would gladly provide dog training classes for a super extra fee. When they say hotel, they dont mean the Ritz...they mean the Motel 6. Too many dogs, not enough well-trained staff, and extreme cost. I have been using them for about 2 years and I am done. read more

I need to start by saying, this was my first time ever boarding my 7 year old french bulldog who usually gets watched by family or friends whenever we need to go out of town and has never experienced boarding, so it is safe to say we were both extremely nervous about the 3-day stay. Christina helped me book my stay with my dog as I had a little trouble doing it online, and it was such an easy booking process through her and she answered all my initial questions. Immediately greeting me upon arrival for check-in was Rebecca and she was extremely sweet, and helped me get over my anxiety of leaving my dog somewhere foreign to him for a 3-day stay. She answered all my questions about the stay and made me leave with a smile knowing that my dog was in good hands during his stay at Wag Hotels. I can't tell you how much of a relief it was to speak with Rebecca about my dog's stay here, she really helped me get through my concerns. Rebecca was also there for check-out and made the process easy, gave me updates about my dog's stay and again made me feel great about my choice for my dog's boarding at Wag. She was excellent! We opted in for the Deluxe Suites for the piece of mind of the in-suite 24/7 camera, TV and the additional included benefits. I am glad we chose to upgrade to the suite because of this for the extra piece of mind and the great extras to make my pup more comfortable. Originally, we opted for the 2-hour group play and morning+evening stroll due to our concern that our dog can sometimes be a bully and too energetic when it comes to playing with other dogs at the dog park with us present. Thankfully, after watching the cameras we noticed he was having a great time in the group play setting and being a good boy, and before we could call to ask Wag if we could switch from 2-hour group play to all day play we actually received a call from Alyssa informing us of the same that we saw and that they recommended all day play for our Oden which made me extremely happy to hear they were really paying attention and looking out for the best interest of my dog - which we were able to easily do at no extra cost due to the package we purchased. All in all, I am very happy with my dog's stay here and all the great daily photo updates they would provide me and I would highly recommend this place for dog boarding. Huge shoutout to Christina, Rebecca and Alyssa for giving me a piece of mind and help me be comfortable with my dog's stay here. Our small dog stayed at Wag Hotel from March 27th - March 31st. He was in a luxury suite. On the 30th I could observe from the camera that he was lethargic. I called several times and was told he was just timid. I did not get a report on how he ate and when we picked him up, he was obviously ill. We took him to the vet that same day. He was diagnosed with a respiratory infection. He didn't eat for four days after we brought him home and we took him for a follow up to get X-rays and blood tests. I called Wag Hotel to ask if any other dogs had been ill and to report his diagnosis so others could be informed/warned. I was told a manager would call me back but that never happened so I decided to post this review. I understand that my dog was stressed since this was his first time to stay overnight but his condition was much more than stress and should have been noticed by the staff. I have no way of knowing if other dog owners were warned of his respiratory infection but I certainly hope so. Edit:I would to add to this review that I had a constructive conversation with the manager, Alyssa, and she was very professional and open to hearing my concerns and to making improvements in the future. While this place is convenient, it smells terrible. I had to use a half and half vinegar water solution to neutralize the smell on my dog & then still bathe her multiple times over the course of a week to get the urine kennel smell off of her. I had to throw away her favorite blanket because the smell wouldn't come out. Pungent pungent kennel smell. I've never had that be an issue at any other kennel she's been at ever. The first day she was not on any cameras, neither the room kennel camera or the play/general area cameras, at all. I had to call them on the phone & they had to go looking for her to get to see her in the camera kennel I paid for. My dog was only there for 48 hours and she slept 24 hours straight after picking her up, which was very concerning. Still I have no explanation of where she was on the first day from the staff. I checked every camera on 5 different occasions prior to calling them on day 1 over a 16 hour period. I was also voluntarily told by the reservation agent when making the reservation without asking them that if I picked her up by midnight I would not have to pay for a third night, and the management did not honor that promise. I do not recommend bringing your pet here. read more

Every time I book with them it takes the app forever to update of pending or waitlisted. I called a week before my reservation to confirm and was told, both of my dogs were confirmed. One of my dogs has been deemed special care by the facility which cost more but that is fine. Day of I saw my reservation was waitlisted so I called again to confirm and because they were at max capacity they couldn't accommodate specialty care dogs. Confused on how you can cancel someone reservation day of that was booked almost a month in advance and the customer still has to confirm week out? The facility is not even the best but unfortunately one of the few in the city that takes large breed dogs. I do not recommend unless you are in a pinch or have no other option. read more

While this business is convenient when flying out of Denver... I have lost all trust in their ability to work with dogs and communicate with us, the clients. I used Wag for 3 years... before it was even Wag. Never once was I informed that there was any potential issue with my dog (shepherd/ lab mix). His last stay, he apparently bit an employee while they filled his water in his room. When called about it, I was told that his "room aggression" had been communicated to me many times. However, I had zero clue. Dog's can get possessive over their territory when in a new and strange place. If a dog hotel can't work around that, then they aren't a dog hotel. It's quite rare for a dog to bite without delivering a vocal and physical response first. Anyone who works with dogs should know this and know how to work around it. Not only was I never told that my dog was exhibiting these behaviors, but even his report card after the incident said he was an angel. It's obvious that this is a dog "hotel" of convenience rather than a boarding center with integrity or knowledge of canine behavior. Moral of the story is: This business cannot be trusted to communicate anything of integrity to you. Unless your dog bites someone, they will never tell you the truth about their behavior. If they had communicated this to me sooner, I could have found a better boarding center that is more equipped to deal with minor aggressive behavior. To top it off, aside from completely lying to me for 3 years, this company has now reported my dog to animal control. THEY ARE A BUSINESS DEDICATED TO WORKING WITH DOGS! THEY HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO REPORT BEHAVIORAL ISSUES TO THE OWNERS RATHER THAN WAIT FOR AN INCIDENT WHICH RESULTS IN MY DOG GETTING REPORTED TO THE STATE! If the room aggression was a concerning issue, why not tell me years ago? Plus, they are way too expensive and unless u pay extra, your dog sits in a cage 22 hours a day. No wonder my dog bit someone. Find another place. A place that has experts involved. read more

This placed used to be great about 2 years ago when it was called paradise 4 paws. For the past year or so, the quality has severely gone down hill. The staff turnover is very high, the front desk area smells like urine, and their communication is very poor. I had been taking my dog Rex there for over 3 years, and they used to give me a detailed summary of how my dogs visit went. Ever since about a year ago, no one could tell me anything about how's my dogs boarding experience was. I just recently found out that he was placed in "special needs" solitary care for a year and no one ever told me. Charlotte the new manager tried to give me a poor apology and excuses saying that my dog was too interested and energetic into other dogs, so he had to be isolated and yet no one ever mentioned anything at all! I will never ever return to this location, or any other wag hotel chain. Garbage company! read more

I've been coming to Wags (used to be called Paradise For Paws) now for 3.5 years. I can't say enough good things about this home away from home for my Border Collie/Aussie. They take such good care of her and all of the furry friends that stay here...She loves everyone who works here too! It's so nice to have peace of mind when I travel that my girl is taken care of, safe, loved, and gets to play with all of her friends. It's perfect if you are catching a flight out of DIA, need daycare, holiday boarding, and a great option during fireworks season . You can check in on your dog via the WagCam too. She is always happy and they treat her like she is one of their own--Wags is truly her second home & family. The report cards, pictures, updates, and most of all the TLC are awesome too! I had been going here for q few years for day care and as of today 9/4/24 I am not ever coming back. First, the prices are extremely high. Second, I am not sure what they are doing when they check them in but to take such a long time to do so is ridiculous. The place smells like a dog pound. I then ask the lady to give my reusable dog food bag back and she decides to dump out the food on a plastic container lid instead of just giving it back to me when I pIcked up my dog which I what I said to her. I come to pick my dog up and nobody knew if the food actually made it back to my dog and the front receptionist was very rude as well. Never coming back. read more

For context: we are those weirdos who have no kids and our dog is virtually everything to us, also years ago I worked at a pet hotel/groomer facility. We were understaffed and it impacted our furry client care. This is the first time we had boarded our baby because of fears she would not get top tier daily care. Things we loved: the staff, 24/7 operation and ability to drop off/pickup any time, shuttle to airport, ultra suite amnesties were fabulous, responsiveness when we called, cleanliness, giving our 8 month old a second chance at playtime, video feed to the ultra sweet and play areas, fantastic selection of add on services, ability to add a bed time FaceTime call to chat with our baby. Every night she had a night time service such as belly rubs, bed time story or FaceTime call. Her bath day was pushed back to her pick up day which turned out much better. As far as our pups favorite part- she LOVED play time with the other fur babies. Reason we didn't rate 5 star: we didn't receive a daily photo, our scheduled FaceTime only happened 1/2 the days, we had to ask to have her collagen sticks handed out 2x rather then the scheduled afternoon administration, we had to call and ask to find out why it didn't seem she had a 2nd play time one day and found out she was kicked out, we never got a report card filled out for her. Overall we spent $679 for 5 days 4 nights for their top tiered service. We felt it was worth it enough to use the service again. But if they offered a daily "memory" photo posting for a quick confirmation that each meal/playtime/walk/peanut-butter Kong/bath/snack/bedtime story was done we would absolutely pay for it because there were times where we would check in and were not sure if scheduled activities had happened. Special thanks to both staff that did FaceTime calls for us, the gent who did it 11/9 (sorry we missed his name) but he gave us a really great update on how she was doing all day long and Katarina who sent us the sweetest photo after our pup fell asleep. Recently moved to Denver from NC and one of our top priorities was to find a place where our dogs were well taken care of when we are out of town. I found Wag Hotels, and am so very impressed with their facilities. However, it has been the people with whom I've dealt with that gave me piece of mind to leave "the girls" in their care. We were given a thorough tour, where no question was left unanswered. When it came time to drop off the pups for a week, we knew that they would be well taken care of. The webcams, the daily pics and the mid week check in put our minds at ease as well. All in all, we had a wonderful experience, and will be using them again. read more

We have been in contact with this business for about a month now to have our two dogs cared for while we are away for our wedding. We drove two hours to tour the facility. We made a two week long reservation on the spot and the manager let us know it was standard to do a a couple trial days before a longer term stay. We were quoted for over $3000. A little pricey, but it sounded like it was going to be a great fit for our needs. A few weeks later, we have our profile set up and provide all the required info/records. We give them a call and ask to do one of the trial days. We ask if there was a specific timeframe for pickup/dropoff and were told it was any 12 hour timeframe. We arrange to do a 6pm drop off with a 6am pick up the following morning. During drop off, we go over everything at the front desk and at this point, this trial day is still "free". The next morning during pickup, my fiance is told by a different staff member that because it was an overnight stay it would be $130 per dog. The issue is we had prearranged the 6pm-6am stay. Had they said it wouldn't count as a trial, we would have adjusted our schedule to meet the trial requirement. We drove two hours and got ourselves a hotel room for this specific reason and still ended up paying for a trial that was supposed to be free. Additionally, when my fiance arrived for pickup he had asked for our dogs by name. One of our dog's name is Ace. They told us there was no dog by that name, but there was one named Ape. For a luxury service that is supposed to cost us over $3k for a two week stay, only for them to get his name wrong and not be tracking him is pretty disappointing. At this point, I don't think we'll end up using them anymore. read more

Excellent all around! Highly recommend! One of our pups has only ever boarded in an in-home setting and the other has never boarded. He has high anxiety and I was so anxious myself about boarding him but everything went off without a hitch. We had booked a week long reservation at another facility who reluctantly allowed us to view the kennels and we knew it was not going to work for our bigger pup so we called to check last minute availability at WagHotels. The customer service rep suggested we take a tour of the facility so we headed straight there. Charlotte gave us a tour on the spot with no hesitation, set proper expectations for their stay, went over all of our options and got us booked for the next day for a week stay. The accommodations were great and I especially liked the fact that we could view our fur babies on the webcams. Our anxious pup, Winston, can be a handful, he can be high energy and as a short, stocky 80lb bulldog I wasn't sure what to expect at check-in but it was seamless. Unfortunately, I forgot the gentleman's name that checked us in to give him credit. Anyways, we enrolled him in the specialized care program since he has only been with other pups under a professional trainer's supervision. We were able to check in on our pups with the webcam and noticed two employees in particular that did a really great job with Winston. Both Lexi and Joshua spent their time with him making sure he got some exercise and one-on-one time. They both did a great job of engaging with him, showing him love and giving lots of belly rubs. I was so relieved as it's stressful leaving your pups in someone's care for the first time and for an extended period of time. I'm very grateful to have discovered WagHotels and will not hesitate to send our furbabies there in the future. We haven't traveled without them for four years so it's a relief to know we now have a place for them to stay and know they will be well taken care of. An added bonus was the fact that we can drop off on the way to the airport, pick them up on arrival and park and take the shuttle. It was SO convenient! read more
