We have brought our dogs here several times since 2021 whenever we would go out of town as well as for day care. Staff has been friendly and dogs are treated well. However, I highly suggest you read all the fine print on the contracts with the day care or you could be out a ton of money. We bought their largest day care package a couple of years back only to be told after a few visits that one of our dogs was no longer going to be allowed since he was too rough with the other dogs. Completely understandable. Since we have two dogs requiring the day care and only one was allowed, we did not see a point in keeping one dog in day care so we asked for a refund for the day care. We were told it was not allowed so they gave us "credit" that we were told we could use for any service including boarding. When we went to board our dogs this last time, they told us all of the credits expired after a year and we were unable to use any remaining credit. At no point were we told that the credit would expire. We would have used them a lot sooner if we would have known but since it was more of an "credit refund" we assumed there was no expiration date. Essentially, we lost out on hundreds of dollars and paid for services that were never rendered. Their policies and lack of customer service are why I do not recommend this place. Additionally, the "sorry, too bad," shrugged shoulders type of response from the manager left a very sour taste in our mouths. She did offer us $70 bucks off our $700 boarding total, but after losing the several hundreds of dollars on the day care that was never used, it was very off putting. read more

This is a doggie daycare and grooming site. They do not have a vet and none of them are licensed vets but yet they want to tell me that my dogs shot is expired when I have a print out of her shot from her Dr that shows the shot is still good. They just want to get more money from you and give your dogs shots that are not required. This place is a joke and complete hell hole. read more

We send our furry friend to club pet resorts 1 day a week and occasionally more when we travel. Our dog has a great time and they do a good job keeping the dogs engaged during the day. Often it wipes her out and the whole day after day care she naps all day tired from playing all day the day before. I would recommend club pet resorts and we have never had any issues. read more

We've been bringing our dog and cat here for many years and have mostly been happy. I wish they'd update their ancient cameras as it's been almost 20 years since we've been coming here and they're still the same slowwww refresh and choppy. The staff changes too often for my liking, but it is what it is. The day we picked up our pets I witnessed a young man in the indoor play yard just standing in one spot petting one big dog the entire time and ignoring the other dogs as well as not cleaning up the poop and pee. So when the other dogs got playful, they were stepping in and rolling in the crap! Disgusting. I could not believe this was allowed to happen. I informed the front desk girl and she seemed unconcerned. I could not be happier to leave. I'm really sad to see the quality of this place has gone downhill. We hope the owners read this and make improvements. After we got home, it seemed our dog was depressed and wouldn't eat for 1.5 days. This has never occurred on previous experiences. Omg! I can't say enough about how Wonderful this place is!! They really do a Great job! Both of My pets were there for a short stay and both were as happy as clams!! My Wheaton was well over due for a groom and Andi was magnificent! He tends to have anxiety issues with grooming and this groom is probably the best he's ever had!! We were quoted $270 for 2 nights online. When we dropped off our dog at the exact time we said we would, and were given a receipt with an amount of $270. When we picked up our dog, at the exact time we said we would, we were charged $405. Apparently, the system made a "mistake" and it "only affected our account". We spoke to 3 employees with concern, the manager named Megan called to let us know she does not care that the error was on their end and that she was going to charge our account no matter what. We paid for a bath our dog did not receive and they do not return extra food to the pet owner. Our account was deactivated due to these conflict. I don't recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

I have taken my dogs to Club Pet several times in the past and was always fine with the service. However, a few months back, the prices were raised. I get it, every business raises their prices. I can handle the rate increase. What has really caused me to pause on taking my dogs back is their current system for payment that requests a tip and suggests a percentage to be added on to the bill. To me, this is ridiculous. Now, I can't even take my dogs for a couple of days of boarding without being asked for more money. The greed for tips just keeps spreading and spreading and is so off-putting. It is very likely that I will shop around for a different place for my dogs to stay the next time. read more

I made a call to Club Pet to let speak with them about my dogs anxiety and need for a little more attention than most dogs. I was assured that they were fully capable of giving him the care that he'd need while boarding, I was even assured that there was some type of a "Social Worker" type of staff member that would work with him on an individual basis. We made the reservation and boarded our dogs while we we went on vacation. I got pictures of my dog in extreme distress so we arranged to have meds brought over from our vet. Our dog was able to calm down some. Upon our return, we picked up our dog and everything was good (so I thought). Months later I need to make another reservation, I was put on hold and when the employee came back to the phone I was notified that my dog couldn't come back because he nipped a kennel tech. And that my other dog couldn't come back because she wouldn't obey their commands. My calm dog caused NO PROBLEMS AT ALL, but they banned her because she refused to go outside. Clearly, they're full of lies here because none of this was expressed to me upon picking my dogs up when I boarded them. I only learned of these issues when I went to make a second reservation. If they're not capable of dealing with dogs that have high anxiety then they shouldn't have told me that they were capable. I trusted their word because it's their industry. Not knowing that everything would be an issue to them. This place is only good for dogs that have no issues. My dogs aren't aggressive, but of course being in an unfamiliar environment and with strange people, they aren't themselves. I'm sure my dogs weren't the first for any of the behavior. It was very inconvenient that none of these issues were communicated to me upon me picking my dogs up. I will give one star because I "think" my dogs were in fairly decent care while they were there (I wish they could talk to tell me). At least they were alive when I picked them up. But their commitment to care...LIES, communication....LIES, customer service....FAKE! read more

Dropped of my dog and paid for $35 for a bath and nail trim on date of pickup. When I picked up he had a bandana but I could tell he wasn't bathed. He stunk and had a feces on his upper front leg. They said they combed him but when I bathed him at home he shed all over the tub. The water runoff was dark brown and he had a rash on his skin and paws. His nails were also not trimmed. Update: It is nighttime and he appears to be sick. He isn't drinking water or eating. Never bringing him back. read more

I keep giving this place chances, but no more. After spending hundred of dollars on vet bills on multiple occasions clearing infections that they failed to notice while my dog was staying there, my very sweet golden was attacked by another dog while I was out of town on July 4th. They called me and told me he had "puncture" under his eye from a dog that attacked him and just to be safe, wanted to take him to the emergency vet. I asked them to send me a picture and it was not just a "puncture." It was a laceration requiring repair under sedation and 5-6 stitches right under his eye. I can't believe they considered only taking him to the vet out of precaution. He has to wear a cone for 2 weeks and I have to take him into the vet in 2 weeks to get the stiches removed under sedation. He also has to take pain meds and antibiotics during that time. When I returned from out of town, I wanted to see the video and get vaccination records of the dog that bit my dog and they asked me to stop giving them attitude. I'm sorry, you didn't send me updates as I requested over the 2 days he was injured and had me stressed out while I was in IL visit my family, something I only get to do once a year; forgive my "attitude...." After watching the video it was clear where things went wrong. They let a new dog into an area where there were already dogs and all the dogs ran up to the door where they let the new dog in thinking they were being let out or to check out what was going on. This is a recipe for disaster. You have a new dog entering an area with 10-15 dogs standing at the entrance. No wonder the dog freaked out and bit my dog. How overwhelming for the new dog! This place needs to train their staff better and have some common sense when letting new dogs enter an area where dogs are already playing. Watching puppies playing in the pool and thru the runway helps alleviate the sad face when leaving your best friend to stay. It truly seems a vacation for our four legged friends. We did a one day stay for Zeke and the care takers fed him, bathed him (so many scent choices!) and clipped his nails nicely. We love our dog A LOT and the staff here takes good care of him. read more

Let me start by saying this is our second time using Club Pet Resorts DIA. The first time around we used them to board our two dogs, and had a great experience, which is why I'm giving them two stars. The second time around, we tried to use their services for grooming. I tried to make an appointment online yesterday and was put on a waitlist. It showed two different groomers, but only one had availability, so obviously I would picked that one. 6 hours went by and I still hadn't heard if my request was accepted for her appointment, so we called and my wife spoke to Jeremy. Jeremy apologized for any miscommunication or mixup and was nice about it, and said we were good to go to have an appointment for 9am. He sent us an electronic form for medical emergencies, etc. This morning we showed up and were told they weren't accepting appointments for grooming because their groomer has been sick for 2 weeks and that we should've gotten a phone call canceling our appointment. 1) Turn off the availability that shows you have appointments available online. 2) Relay to ALL of your employees that you're unable to make appointments. Communication is key. 3) We didn't get a phone call about being canceled. This all could've been prevented if management communicated with their staff about these kinds of issues. So now we're having to last minute try to find someone else to fulfill our needs. We're very disappointed in this experience. Dropped My Doberman off for 17 days while I was heading out for work away from home, call several times to ensure he was doing well and was able to take part in the group dog events. Pet resorts assured me everything was going well on my check up calls. Picked up my family member and noticed that he was emaciated. I made mention of this, and they responded he has had Diarrhea for a couple of days. Took him home and checked his weight the very next day. He had lost 14 pounds of his body weight in 17 days. I was given no warning of his feeding issues. There was no food for me to take home when I picked him up. For this amount of weight loss in this short period of time I decided I needed to get him to the vet as quick as possible. After X-rays, blood work, Subcutaneous fluids, Diarrhea medication and nausea medication, I was able to stop his weight loss at 20 pounds. This did take around the clock monitoring at home for 3 days. We are finally on the road to recovery from the event. Needless to say, will never trust any commercial company with the care of my 4 legged family members ever again. If I cant take him with me I will not go. read more

Additionally, I asked the manager to call me named Megan. clearly she is in capable of training, her team and rather incompetent. I will preface this review by saying you can classify me as the kind of person that thinks of my dogs as "4 legged children". I only want the best for them and won't settle for less when it comes to someone else caring for my family ! For people reading this review that don't understand this type of mentality; you need to take a trip down the yellow brick road to find your heart or you've probably never owned a pet you really loved"! This place is worthy of their "knock off" Club Med namesake. They are always incredibly helpful and never have anything to hide ! You can pop in at any given moment and they will walk you back through the kennels ! The building in incredible and looks like a stunning people hotel ! During our vacation a friend popped in to visit my dogs unannounced ( her name was an emergency contact and I *did* inform them she could visit anytime so it was in the notes) and they welcomed her with open arms. They set her up her own place to spend time with them as well. I called every single day of our vacation to check on my dogs. While on the other end of the line they might have been rolling their eyes at my; it never came through in their attitude over the phone to make me feel like I was being a bother ! You may pay a little more to board your dog here, but it will be money well spent - I PROMISE ! read more

Paid for 2 nights boarding for 2 dogs. Web cam poor quality. When I called to ask when my 20 lb Boston Terrier would be outside I was told he was too small and small dogs dig under the fence. The brochure shows a boston terrier photo playing outside! My dogs lived those days on the cement floor. They shared a kennel, but only one cot. I called to ask someone to at least put a blanket on the floor for the boston. I paid for Husky bath and de shed. I was told she had a bath. Unfortunately, she shed just as much. This Club Pet has horrible customer service. I scheduled my dogs for a overnight stay of less than 24 hours. I as charged for two days. I called asked about the billing and getting charged for 2 days. They said it was in the agreement that I signed years ago and should remember that it's 1 pm. That's horrible customer service. I had taken my dogs for grooming many times. Mostly the work was okay, but somewhat haphazard for the cost. It depended on which groomer took care of them. I never complained. The last time I took them for grooming, they came home with fleas. That's right, fleas. Club Pet is the ONLY place they have been since March 2020 when Covid struck. I am out hundreds of dollars trying to deal with this, and they couldn't have cared less when I called to complain. I will not be going back. If you choose to take your dogs there for any service, watch them carefully. read more

Update: Response from clubpet is not I'll start by saying that the staff at club pet is very hard working and sweet. If your pup is healthy and independent and can be left alone to fend for themselves in feeding and play then you'll probably find club pet a good place. They have great service to and from the airport and some common sense amenities to try and make boarding easy. That is where the positive review ends. My dogs required special handling for feeding time and some coaxing to feel more comfortable. The instructions were explicit and not difficult. We purchased the penthouse suite and expected some service and TLC for our pets. The staff were not able to accommodate. We believe mostly that they were vastly UNDERstaffed and thus could never have the opportunity to fulfill the feeding plan we required. Long story short - one dog was over fed twice as much food and the other dog did not eat for three days. Needless to say we cut our trip short to get back and rescue our dogs. We called every day multiple times per day to get the situation corrected and each time the staff would react and promptly forget about the dogs or not follow the instructions we had given. Won't be using them again. Hope their management can staff the facility to actually care for the pups. read more

It's hard to find a place that you trust to care for you pup. My dog Elsa is definitely shy. I have boarded her at a few other places, and she always walks out of other kennels looking like a prisoner of war. So, I was definitely relieved when we picked her up from Club Pet Resorts, and her tail was wagging and she appeared happy and well taken care of. Gold star in my book! I have to knock off a star because I received different information from staff about how much Elsa was eating. I ended up calling Club Pet Resorts during our trip to check on Elsa, and they informed me she had not eaten breakfast and dinner on the first day. Then, when we arrived to pick her up after our trip, the front desk told me she ate all her meals - which is different than what I was told when I called in a few days prior. I also provided food for an additional 4 meals in case of flight delays, and when I asked to have the remaining food, they told me she didn't have any left. It just makes me question what her food intake really was during our trip. Nonetheless, Elsa appeared happy when we picked her up. She was not nervous around the staff and this was extremely comforting. The facility itself was clean, and it's a convenient location near DIA. You can park your car onsite and they have a shuttle available to take you to the airport for an additional cost. The parking and shuttle service is a little more expensive than some other parking options, but our flight was getting in at midnight, so it was worth the extra money to not have to park elsewhere and make multiple stops on our way home. So, would I take Elsa back here? Yes! read more

The cat boarding at Club Pet DIA leaves a lot to be desired. We left one of our cats with 11 days worth of medicine and Club Pet called to say they were out of medicine after 4 days. After clearly double/triple doses, they took her to the vet down the street. No apology, no discount, no explanation. Staff at pickup didn't know anything either. What. You can consistently pay for the mobile app to watch the cats, but in years I've never seen our cats in the playroom. I watched it like a hawk this trip. Never saw them all times of day. Back at Club Pet the cats' rooms were filthy (so I guess there was no playtime and cleanup time). One of the cats had a piece of poop squished onto their collar tag. The app itself is a joke. Freezing video and black screens. The billing at Club Pet is just awful. Staff is sometimes friendly, but has no idea what is being charged, when or why. Staff turnover is high at Club Pet. Most of the time the staff are confused about the computer system. The bill is unreadable and there is no explanation about the charges. Club Pet will not give you a report card about the feedings, playtime, treats, or send any photos of the cats. Check-in at Club Pet always takes 15-30 minutes when leaving on a trip. Don't forget, the items you bring with your cats will usually get lost at Club Pet. For what you pay to board your cats at Club Pet, you get very, very little. I would recommend avoiding Club Pet for cats. We've used them on and off for years, but this will be the last for me. read more

Needed to board our 8 month old Tibetan Terrier for our weekend get away. The website is amazingly confusing without clear pricing for really anything until you see the menu that is on a card in the lobby. Based upon the website this is what we thought we were getting: 20/day boarding in the 5x8 room with play times times and the ability to watch over webcams. What it actually is they keep your dog in a jail cell for 30/day and up-charge for everything. Um what?! The front desk staff when entering are not friendly at all and do not provide information or ask any questions. They don't ask if you've been there before or what to expect. They simply process paperwork and take your dog to the back. We had opted to get our pup the half day day cate after finding out that activities were not included. We also had requested to get our pup groomed. When I went to pick her up they brought her to me and said that she wasn't groomed because she has too many mats and they weren't able to groom her. I then told the lady that I specifically told the person I dropped off with to do whatever it takes to remove them. And also we clarified this through an email to make sure it was crystal clear and received a response saying "We will make sure she looks beautiful and groomed before you pick her up." Then it turned into a scheduling issue with the groomer. A half hearted apology, and nothing but a refund was offered. But according to the other reviews I should just be happy our dog is alive and healthy. Run far far away from this place. read more

When I dropped Grady off I specifically asked Carrie to leave Grady out in the play area for no more than three to four hours as it was his first day of daycare. I asked that he then be put in a kennel room and I would return shortly thereafter. This was not done. I am ever so grateful I showed up two hours early to pick him up. I don't even want to imagine the condition his feet would have been in otherwise since nobody noticed he was in jeopardy. I witnessed the treatment at the vet. This is not speculation. I watched them treat Grady's feet. I also had a witness with me and I have pictures both before and after his treatment. Grady was in a great deal of pain for days and both front feet were bandaged for a week. Now you can sugarcoat this as much as you would like. You failed to do what was asked of you and Grady got hurt. Period. I am obviously not your only dissatisfied customer; which is reflected in your two and a half star rating.
