Terriers can be a pain in the butt when it comes to their attitude and stubbornness, and my Scottish Terrier is especially a sassy/grumpy boy, so I'm very picky about who grooms him. I took my mini goldendoodle there for a cut and bath and showed the groomer a picture of what i wanted. My dog was completely shaved he looks like a rat, his belly was cut and bleeding afterwards and the leash I took him there with was completely destroyed. I called to speak to the groomer about the situation as none of it was brought to my attention at pickup. She denied everything and acted like she had no idea. When the owner Toni called me the next day she was extremely rude and wouldn't even let me talk. She just wanted to tell me how mean my dog was and tell me I needed to have him neutered. She never apologized for the incident or offered a solution to rectify my experience. I understand mistakes happen, but be upfront about it and if you own a business customer service should be a practiced skill. I've reported this business to the BBB Especially after having to take my dog to the vet to have his belly looked at to prevent infection which cost me even more money! i highly encourage anyone thinking about going here to think otherwise.

Neither location was convenient for me, but the service is so outstanding that I would follow them anywhere! First off, the groomers who work here are very gentle with my dog. They are aware that she is fragile and yet strong willed. They treat her with love and report any medical concerns they observe. I have peace of mind in dropping her off. They are also aware that I don't want to have her there longer than needed (because grooming is inherently stressful) and they communicate with me so that I'm aware of how busy they are on a given day so I can decide to bring my dog in earlier or later. It appears that Clarissa is in charge of overall management. She and all of the groomers are wonderful! Second, they do a great job of grooming my dog and always ask if I want them to do anything differently each time. I couldn't be happier with this business and highly recommend it. I'm also protective of my dog and had to cancel a grooming appointment on a day with "feels like" temps over 100 degrees. The usual groomer understood but told me they couldn't get her in for six more weeks. I couldn't wait that long and found 4 Paws Spa. The person who answered the phone could not have been nicer in listening to my dog's sensitivities and told me the owner, Jo, was very experienced in grooming older dogs. And they could get my smelly overgrown baby in two days later! I was thrilled! Today was grooming day at the new place. 4 Paws is a cute little spot on a busy street and the parking lot is very small. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by the owner, Jo. She put me at ease by telling me she has more than 40 years of experience in grooming dogs (and cats, I believe). We talked shampoo, cut, etc. My dog seemed to be comfortable with Jo and I also felt comfortablee. I stopped back after two hours and my dog was still being trimmed on the table. I could tell my dog didn't seem traumatized, so I left and came back around 30 minutes later. Jo was finishing up and I could see how careful and gentle she was with my baby. The grooming price was exactly what I normally pay to her usual groomer - $55 before tip. I really liked this place because the owner Jo and the other groomer were so nice and caring. I also liked the smaller environment because it was very calm with only two people grooming and fewer other dogs. The only downside is the small parking lot that I found difficult to maneuver, but I'm sure I can figure it out with more practice! Highly recommend!
