Tropical fruit drink and Homemade Lemonade. Really good!

A unique Pan Asian restaurant with very fresh and light flavors. The atmosphere here is cozy and casual. Not your typical asian restaurant, but the food taste very authentic. We received good service and the waiter was friendly. I wish though they have more selection of dishes. I recommend their Pad Thai and the Wagamama Ramen. If you are visiting Amsterdam Centruum definitely come by here and taste the flavors.

Was ok, but in my hometown cologne and the nearby Düsseldorf are living a bunch of Japanese people with very good cooking skills, so I am kind of spoiled with a good original Sapporo Style tantanmen but the quality in general here is very good and tasty, so if you want to eat Japanese/korean fusion, then it's a good choice!

The best part of Wagamama is perhaps its organized environment. The price is average but with the 25% discount we had as part of the Iamstersam card/city pass, it was relatively affordable. The food portions were good as well. We got the wagamama ramen and noodles with bulgogi. Warning that while these dishes were good, they are not the standard ramen or bulgogi one would be expecting. The broth was clear and the egg was fully cooked, unlike usual ramen where the broth would have been cooked for hours with oil and a tint of light brown. The usual egg on the other hand would likely have a liquid core. Nonetheless, the soup noodle was still good. Meanwhile the bulgogi with noodles was not as tasty unfortunately due to the overcooked meat. We had requested for medium but it came out fully cooked. Just a suggestion to caution that request. Outside of food, environment and service were both good. We walked away feeling satisfied.

    1. Gooooood pan-Asian food, seemed to be fresh and cooked once ordered. The portions were big and there were a lot of options. 2. It was fast-casual, quick, and had a relaxed vibe. 3. Good for vegetarians, lunch, and dinner.

Dropped by wagamama after a long cold walk in the city. It's one of the few restaurants that has a good scene and get seated pretty quickly. The restaurant is usually pretty busy, but the service is surprisingly reliant. Overall looks like a cute Asian fusion place with yummy fresh juices and a good Asian selection. For dinner we ordered the Chicken Udon, Tofu Pad Thai and the Chicken Katsu. While I won't tell you everything is very authentic to its cultural flavor, it is far better than I expected from a Dutch Asian fusion chain. Every dish is tasty and unique. But our favorite and their best was their chicken katsu. Their curry is very flavorful and we'll prepared. Good environment and satisfactory experience!

I was in the mood for rice and got into this place. This time I picked Cha Han bowl with chicken and prawn. Nice interior and great staff! 海老チキンチャーハン丼 さやえんどうまで中に入ったかなり謎の組み合わせのどんぶり。味は美味しいが値段は一流中華料理店のチャーハン並。

Well I was walking down the street and the modern decor caught my attention. I went in and had the chicken katsu curry. My husband had the signature wagamama ramen. Both of which were delicious. It does not get the 5 stars because of our server who failed to tell us the still water was 7 euros each bottle. He just kept bringing bottles. I spend my 28 euros on water. That is insanely expensive.

A modern interior design, at the cost of charm.

"Asian fusion" is the perfect term for this place - a blend of different Asian cuisines served in a modern environment, in a modern presentation. The place has a rather big dining room with lots of seats, and large rectangular tables - so there's room for many guests but it kinda lacks personality. It feels like a typical lunch restaurant to go to with a group of colleagues - not a place to bring a date to in the evening. The food is of good quality, although nothing mind blowing. I had ramen - and it was nice that they even had that on the menu because it is rather uncommon.

    Alex O.

Being from Seattle, where there's a plethora of great ramen options, my standards for ramen are quite high. As many ramen fanatics would agree, the true test for the dish lies in the flavor and richness of the broth and the "bouncy" quality of the noodles. Though the service and wait time were solid, the ramen broth was watered-down and the noodles lacked bounce and texture. My side of chicken kara age, though well seasoned, was sadly over-cooked and dried-out. I'd recommend skipping the ramens and izakayas and opting for the donburi or curry bowls instead.

We went based off the website boasting high end small dishes. We were anticipating thoughtfully prepared Asian fusion cuisine in an elegant setting. We ordered the tasting menu. None of the dishes were inspired. The menu started with an oyster in the half shell with a nice Asian version of a mignonette. The mignonette was excellent but the oyster itself was a little fishy. The sashimi that followed was good but identical to sashimi anyone can get in any decent sushi restaurant. The black cod followed. Like the sashimi, it was good but nothing special. The last main was seared wagyu. It was nicely cooked but the sauce was a completely uninspired sweet sauce that actually detracted from the taste of the meat. The tulip pot dessert was hands down the high point. It was the one part of the menu that felt in any way inspired. The service was friendly but very slow and very disjointed. The music was too loud to allow a meaningful conversation. The dining room is thoughtfully designed and actually quite cool. So, if you're looking for a club that serves mediocre uninspired Asian fusion cuisine, by all means go for it. If you're looking for a nice restaurant with thoughtful Asian fusion dishes, you might want to look elsewhere.
