I started going to Beth and she seemed to be OK but I scheduled an appointment with her 3 months in advanced. When I went to my appointment, she wasn't in town and no one in the salon would help me. Even though I booked the appointment 3 months in advance, I never received any notification that Beth wouldn't be in town, which I find very irresponsible. Unfortunately for me, the people that work there were not helpful because they stated they are all independent contractors so there was nothing they could do. All I got was "please write down you name and number and Beth will call you when she gets back into town". I would not recommend this place as I don't believe you can count on your groomer to actually be there for your appointment.

We joined their monthly program and I usually add on a full spa package when she goes. The teeth brushing, nail dermal and facial really help keep her nice and clean. I love having this service come to our house to groom my mini golden doodle. The groomer also did a good job, and she would come out clean, cute, and smelling much better. The only complaint I had was that they don't express the anal glands, which was part of every service she'd gotten before (or so I was told). I got a call from the owner/manager of the groomer's business, and he said that the veterinarians in the area recommended that groomers not do it, because it's usually taken care of by the natural processes when the dog poops. And if, for some reason, the dog gets them impacted, it's best for the vet to take care of it. I'm a little suspicious that the vets just want to preserve as many treatments as they can for themselves because it helps their bottom line, but who knows? Anyway, hopefully, my dog won't and that service in the near future (although she has needed it in the pst due to impacted gland, which the vet did take care of because she had been incessantly licking her butt and I was worried about her.

He grew up going to River City for his health care and was a regular at doggie day care. This was his favorite place on earth. The care and love received from these people was extraordinary. He was so comfortable with this place and its wonderful people that when he had to see Dr. Harsh for medical care, he was unafraid and loved him too with big lick to the face. The attached picture was hung in the lobby of River City of our sweet boy and you can see how happy he was playing with his friends. There is no better better place in town to take your animal for care or day care! When I think of the great memories we had with our dog, this place is part of those very fond memories. I had to put my 2 dogs down last year for what other Vets had told me of their health condition. I now doubt what I was told and the decisions I had to make based on what I was told. I really wish with all my heart now that I would have gotten a second opinion from Dr. Nield before making those terrible decisions for my Dogs. Hindsight is so hard but I really think he would have been able to help them now. He is so competent . Our two Bichons, Tinket and Asa, both had ear infections. Dr. Pulver determined it was from their food (chicken meal in the ingredients). She took out the excess hair out of their ears, cleaned them, and showed us how to apply the medication. We now have two very happy and healthy fur babies.
