He assured me these issues would be addressed before we drove almost three hours to pick up the unit. However, despite my attempts to call and text him prior to our arrival, I didn't hear back as he went on vacation without notifying us. Unfortunately, when we arrived, nothing had been done. That's when Brandy stepped in and took charge of the situation. She got the service team involved and made sure everything was addressed to our full satisfaction. I was honestly ready to walk away, but after seeing how much she genuinely cared about making things right, we decided to move forward with the purchase. We put a deposit down on a camper site unseen with a…read morepromise from Jeff (salesman) and James (manager) that it would be delivered to Frederick so we could do a walkthrough before signing final documents. A couple days later Ty called us to schedule the walk through/signing. We asked if we could do 3pm or later during the week or anytime over the weekend. Ty said the latest he would agree to was 2:30pm and then said, "most people are so excited to make a big purchase like this that they just take off work. Why can't you take off work?" (Keep in mind this is last minute). We reluctantly agreed to come at 2:30. GUESS WHAT!? We show up to do our walk through at 2:30 and the camper was never sent to Frederick from Joppa. Funniest part is that James (manager) acted like he had no idea we hadn't seen the camper in person yet DESPITE being the one who told us we would be able to see it before signing final documents at our appointment. We still gave them the benefit of the doubt and agreed to buy the camper site unseen with the agreement that when the campers delivered to our campsite (2 hours away from us) we would be able to do a walk through and get the keys. While waiting on delivery, I get 4 calls from Jeff asking how we are liking the camper which we DON'T even have yet!!! You haven't delivered it! I get a call from James AFTER signing all the final documents saying the payments will actually be $50 more per month than they told us, never asked if it was okay, etc. We were also told the scheduling lady would call to confirm delivery which never happened, we had to reach out multiple times instead. Delivery finally happens and THEY DON'T HAVE KEYS TO THE CAMPER! We can't get it set up or do anything and have to drive 2 hours back home to fight with James and Ty for days on where our keys were. They kept saying they would call us back, never did. When we finally got a hold of James, he said the keys could be picked up from Frederick the following afternoon, they obviously didn't follow through on this either, didn't even call us to say they weren't there, then blamed it on Joppa per usual. Everything was Joppa's fault, not Frederick's if you ask James. Then they said the keys would be in Frederick the following morning. We kept calling to confirm the keys were in the office as promised since the first go around they weren't. They again kept saying they would call us back when they had a new time to pick them up but big surprise.. no one ever called us back. The kicker is that James had the nerve to ask me to give them a positive Google review..... so, here's your much deserved review, James! You've lost multiple customers over this! Do better!!!

Once we agreed on a price we drove to the dealership and they had the camper all set up for us. The guy that did the walk-through was very knowledgeable about the camper. He answered all the questions and even more that we had. I must say the parts and service department is what makes this dealership amazing. I had a part that needed replaced so I called them and they were able to squeeze me in since we were driving past them to go to a campground. We arrived and they evaluated the problem within 20 minutes it was replaced and we are on our way. Definitely recommend east coast RV specialist!!

I live in Michigan so rather than wait 2 weeks to have the engine replaced I traded it in for a new truck. I needed to have the new truck set up for a 5th wheel hitch. The dealer that I bought the truck recommended east coast rv to have it installed. I told them over the phone what I had and what I needed and the said they would get the parts and install it the next day. the next day i dropped it off and they installed it. I was expecting the same type of setup I had in my old truck. They put something in totally different and a lot more expensive. It raised my hitch about 3" higher and now my camper does not ride level. I believe they took advantage of my situation too get as much money as they could from me. I do not recommend them because They seem to make profit a priority over customer satisfaction.

After an hour of fruitless calls I was lucky to find Ft Ashby. Fred and an associate were out to us within a couple hours, ran back to the shop for a welder and were able to weld the bracket and give us a workable fix to get back on the road, outstanding response and service! With a family get together planned a couple days later they saved the trip and all our plans, I could have been easily stuck until Monday without their timely assistance. I looked up to see us passing Beckley's RV in New Oxford, so I turned around and pulled in and asked if they had someone that could look at it. Found out that we had a bad bearing hub assembly etc. Tim and Jeff got to work removing the bad parts and called the Thurmont location and they had the parts, so we jumped in our truck and picked them up. By the time that we got back, Tim and Jeff had the right side prepped and ready to receive the new parts plus they checked the left side as a precaution just to put our mind at ease. The whole staff was very friendly and made a stressful situation better. We are grateful for Tim and Jeffs efforts on getting us back up and rolling! They were a God send when we needed it most. I'm handy and expect to find some faulty situations after purchase, but soon realized today's RV's are thrown together without quality control before leaving the manufacturer. I fixed numerous issues, from several water leaks to stripped cabinet screws and loose ball hitch. Our RV only 7 months old. Make sure you check to make sure the washer on top of the ball nut is fully compressed and tight before heading down the road! I drilled a hole through the hitch bold & inserted a cotter pin with no play so the bolt can't back off. My frustration lies in the fact that the Beckley's New Oxford location is subpar. You have to consistently call or email their maintenance personnel in order to get results & followups are out of the question. My wife and I did them a favor by fixing most issues on our own, but some needed their intervention. We wanted to square away every issue possible before the year warranty period expires and didn't want to be inconvenienced by making numerous trips an hour and a half drive one way from our home. New Oxford, please hire more qualified staff to keep your good reputation from faltering any further. Thank you
