Although the staff is friendly and do a good job with my fur baby's grooming, the last 2 times we have brought home home, he has come home with itchy ears. Our last grooming was yesterday. The time before that, I belive was in August 2024. His ears got so infected, we had to do 3 trips to the Casselton Vet to get it cleared up. He got well after weeks of medication and alot of money spent and thought it was a fluke but he is scratching again. A DAY LATER. read more

They do a really good job. They took notes on what was done last time and asked if I wanted the same this time. The dog looks good, nice cut and nail job. There was still some hair that I trimmed around the paws afterwards, but that's why I gave a 4 instead of a 5. Overall, very good job every time we've been there. read more

They are so friendly here. Our dogs(all 4 of them) have been going there for years. We have little dogs with attitude and they know how to deal with them so we get them back clean and happy. read more

We've been bringing our little dog here for a few months now and she's always been a little nervous while getting baths. Last time she came back from this place, we have never been able to give her a bath without her absolutely losing her mind and shaking from fear. We are positive that these people working here treated her terribly during one of her services and literally traumatized her. Another case that we have had to deal with was when she came back one time with multiple open wounds surrounded by dried blood on many bumps that she had on her body. It has been made quite obvious that this place couldn't care less about your animal and how they are treated. Not surprised that almost every review on here has been a 1 or 2 star review. In conclusion, if you care about your animal, steer clear from this shit show. read more

So after trying to voice concerns with the owner of Wags and whiskers, the owner said nothing to us except they do not give refunds. The business practices of this place are shameful! After nearly 10 years of grooming not to try, even a little bit to keep a valued customer is all too bad. This place needs to step up and spend a little bit of those 70.00 haircuts on the clients they have maintained through the years. Super upset with how they cut my dog. We brought in our sheepadoodle to be groomed. Sheepadoodles look like old English sheepdogs, but don't shed. We came back to pick up a dog that had been shaved to 1/8" including his eyelashes (which our king to keep the long fur out of their eyes) and tail. He looks so ugly. Apparently, they had no idea how to groom this kind of dog. Not coming back. read more

We had a terrible experience with the care and service of our 9 lb. Schiitzu cross. When I brought him home after the appointment I noticed the blood vessels in his eyes where ruptured. I took him to the vet within an hour and the vet said "something happened to him that he wouldn't be able to do to himself, like a noose around his neck/strangulation." Due to Covid Wags n Whiskers was not taking animals with collars or leashes, so the vest/harness he usually wears at home was not accepted. The only explanation would be they used something around his neck to stabilize or control him. When I spoke to the attendant he said the owner would be in contact with me. I never heard back from them. I will not be going back and I caution others to be aware of checking their animal if they decide to take them to Wags n Whiskers. read more

Review for Wags stay N play and wags and whiskers. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!! I can't express this enough. If you care about the well being of your pets don't bring them here. I was watching the video this past weekend while we had our 2 dogs in there. There was urine everywhere the whole time that all the dogs were walking in. One of the handlers came in and whipped a couple balls at the wall, pretty sure he hit one of the dogs and then he was shoving the dogs away from him. There is always huge dogs in with the small ones, my dogs are scared of big dogs. I called several times and left a voicemail and no one got back to me. When I came to pick them up Sunday I was told there was no manager and I'd have to give them a call Monday. I just got off the phone with the "manager" and all she did was apologize for dropping the ball on this. I was also miss-quoted on the price and they kept one of the collars. I have done their grooming services as well and stopped using them for that a while ago. They come back with patches shaved and longer hair in places. read more

Have been going for years with generally good service. It seems like they must have had some change in the last year as the quality of the cut is below acceptable and the attitudes of the desk staff is horrible at best. Maybe they have got too busy and rush through and dont appreciate long term customers. read more

Brought my dog in for the first time and while he was clean and cut, I'm sure we won't be taking him back. It looked like when my two year old cut her own hair. The cut was choppy and no blending done. I've done better myself. read more

I have taken my two cats to Wags N Whiskers twice to have them shaved and washed. I would have to say that the desk staff and groomers are amazing. I waited no longer than 2 hours and both my cats were done! It was raining outside and the desk staff helped me out with my cats and were so great to work with. My cats also enjoyed their experience (as far as I can tell) they were silent all the way back to Grand Forks. Thanks everyone. read more
