One of the best Dog Parks in the OC but it's only accessible to Ladera Ranch Residents. All grass usually in good shape throughout most of the year. Very well maintained and has lighting for night visits until 10pm. Closed every Tuesday for maintenance until 3pm. read more

I had no idea this park existed! We had time mid morning. My dogs don't usually like socializing so luckily we were the only ones there! They do an amazing job of maintenance! Grass is nice, shrubs manicured well. It's got great paved parking not dirt. Shades to sit under. It's really nice. There is a walkway around the outside to walk if you want as we did 3 laps! One of mine kept to that while the other ran in the grass! I will definitely return! read more

Trash. I would advise the community or Yelp to notify those searching for dog parks that this location specifically is private to residence only. Upon my entry, a woman was exiting, so I entered, unaware that the park was private. Several faults I noticed: one being that there were dog sitters with more than 3 dogs to 1 human ratio, a mixture of small and large dogs in the large dog park, and poop left in the grass (all of which are stated on the guidelines). Guidelines that I failed to read upon arrival and that are listed on the exit gate not the entrance gate. Lastly, the people all seemed snobby. The park cleared out within five minutes. Security came to ask about a card fab as someone reported someone jumping the gate. Not impressed Ladera. Keep your half dirt park. On another note, the security was at least pleasant. read more

This is NOT a public dog park. It is only accessible by key to Ladera Ranch homeowners. I was given access for a day, and this is a lovely space to run the dog. And the people here are so kind! read more

I do not have a dog. But all the dogs playing here look happy. Why then am I writing a review on this place and giving it a good mark? Simple: in case you don't have your key fob with you, you can still get a drink of water! The water fountains are not located within the gates. Hallelujah! Ladera Ranch has a great dog park for all your little ones and big ones. They offer two designated areas. One for the smaller dogs and breeds and one for the larger family members. Plenty of space in each for your pets to burn that energy off. Both have seating for the human kind. Running water for our thirsty creatures and high fencing to keep everyone contained. Place is quiet during the weekdays and relatively busy on Saturday and Sunday. Remember though, the park is always closed for maintenance on Tuesday's. Enjoy read more

Wagsdale is the best dog park around. It is well maintained, clean and visited by friendly dogs and people. The big dog park is a great size that actually is big enough for the big dogs to get up a really good run and for you to fully throw a ball, frisbee, etc. without it going out of the park. The landscaping is mature with nice big shade trees. LARMAC wants to "relocate" the dog park in Ladera and build a $10million dollar community center in the current location. Not much bigger than my backyard and it's locked with a card pad. The sign says "Ladera Ranch residents only", which I am, but you have to retrieve a key card from somewhere to use it? Didn't get to try it but I also don't appear to be missing much; it was abandoned but for 1 dog and owner on a late Friday afternoon and, again, very small. read more

this is a private park for Lasers residents which I missed when looking up the place. The park is nice. very well kept. It also has plenty of seating for pup owners. And there are a lot of trees for shade. read more

This is the first dog park I've ever taken my pup to so I don't know what to compare it to. There's a side for big pups and small pups. The park is meant for community members. However, there have been times when I would forget my key and the nice people inside always let me in with a smile. Occasionally they block off patches of grass, which isnt so horrible if you consider their goal is to preserve the lawn. I've heard horror stories about other parks with dirt patches to run on and poop everywhere so I am super appreciative for the management of this park. Now if only we can catch those few owners who don't pick up after the I dogs... read more

Love this dog park! We moved to Ladera in Dec, got a dog a month ago, and have been to the park twice now. Once our puppy gets more used to being around the other dogs I know she will enjoy it as much as I do. read more

I just moved into Ladera and one of the first places we went was the dog park. This is a very well maintained, grassy, clean park with 2 seperate areas for large dogs and small dogs. This is the cleanest dog park I have been to in Orange County and so far all of the dog owners and dogs have been super nice. It opens at 6 AM and closes at 10 PM so the hours are great for people who work or have busy schedules. I really like the amenities in Ladera and this is definitley a favorite of mine and my pets! read more

Wish there had been a little disclaimer that this park is private. Looked really nice and maintained, however we could not to in because we are not members. Luckily, there was a nice running patch of grass with tables that was right beside the gate, so she was able to run around for a while. Obviously not impressed due to the restriction. read more

One of my favorite dog parks!! The social scene here is fantastic, everyone is very friendly and makes sure to look after their pets/clean up their poop. Because all (or at least most) of the owners live in Ladera Ranch, the park is never overcrowded or unruly. It's definitely a wonderful perk as park of our HOA. The park is small, but my dogs love it and so do I! I wish it was open on Tuesday evenings though! If they are done mowing the grass in the morning, why can't they open it back up in the evening? read more

I live in Ladera and visit the park almost daily. Well maintained and my dog loves it. But it's unfortunate that some dog owners disregard the size restrictions and bring large, aggressive dogs into the small dog side. Watched yesterday as a woman's small dog was cornered and attacked by two Australian shepherds. The owner of the smaller dog was injured trying to save her pet. Thankfully no serious injuries occurred. Just wish people were more considerate. read more

Have just picked up our two dogs from a week at Wags and Wiggles. I am totally impressed with the staff and the organization. They are professional and thorough. I'm disgusted by the lack of security and enforcement of rules at our dog park. There are 2 sides for a purpose...keep your small dogs out of the large side of the park. I am sick and tired of residents not following the rules and large dog owners getting blamed for "fights" between us and the little dogs. Guess what?! That's why there are two sides... so get on your side. I am also sick and tired of getting staredowns because of my breed! Guess what!? You're ignorant- my dog is a sweetheart and would never hurt a fly. So when you choose to take your family and dog out of the park because I have an "aggressive" breed and you are too ignorant to see that...well then I feel sorry for you and your stupidity. It is the last time I leave my park because you are afraid of my breed or because you choose to keep your small dog on my side of the park. If LARMAC or LARCS won't grow balls and enforce some rules in this place, I'll do it myself. If my dog eats your dog, not my problem.
