Wonderful dog park very large completely fenced in separate area for a small dogs. There is grass throughout. Friendly people and friendly dogs. They have multiple disposal bins and water fountains. There is enough area for over 20 dogs to run around without getting in each other's way. Cute bridge crossover to get to the park you can see they've put a lot of effort and creating and maintaining it !

Huge open space for dogs to play!

This is by far our favorite dog park! For starters, it's enormous - perfect for high energy pups like mine. I love how clean and well maintained it is - there are lots of benches, poop bags / trash cans, and even wheelbarrows for shoveling dirt and covering up holes. Lots of parking, it's just metered and requires you to do a u-turn if you're going south on Laguna Canyon Road. One thing to note is that it's hard to see the entrance and inside - so you can't always tell how busy it us until you walk up. Wish I lived closer!

Such a nice dog park! We were just driving in the area and stumbled upon it So you do have to pay metered parking and I can imagine at peak times, it may be pretty busy/hard to park, but we went early afternoon and it was fine. There are two gated sections before you choose between the small and large dog parks. The small side seemed shadier at this time but way smaller. The large dog side was huge and had lots of beautiful green grass for pups to run on. Some shady areas on the sides for humans. This really seemed like a well maintained dog park. Definitely a far drive for us, but we'd come back if we were in the area!

Spacious, clean, and beautiful. Lots of room, and appeared well-maintained. Metered street parking is the only drawback but I went at a fairly busy time and had no problem finding a spot. Such a pretty spot!

Hands down the nicest dog park in OC. I live across the street from the central dog park in Irvine and I come to Laguna as much as possible. I have a Vizsla so she loves to run. This place is so lush green all year round in the canyon surrounded by the raddest hills for your dog to run up and down. Mine is a billy goat when she comes here. Parking sucks, you get some "groovy" Laguna Beach people but all around it's paradise.

This is a nice green grassy dog park that's about the size of a football field for the large dogs. The "small dog" section is separate and has a nice lawn too but it's much smaller (it's for dogs under 35 pounds). There's plenty of benches, poo-poo bags, tennis balls, and there's even a portable potty for humans too. My dog loves grassy lawns and she just runs around like a maniac. Most dogs are well-behaved and most owners pick up the poop but there's still poop around. So watch your step. We had a fun group today of doodles, a Portuguese Water Dog, German short-haired pointer, a Old English sheepdog, Australian shepherds, and more. Street parking was almost full and you have to pay to park, but my dog really, really loved it and was completely exhausted when we left.

This has easily become my favorite dog park in Orange County. I only wish that it could be closer to my place! :) There is lots of grass, trees, and space! My pups LOVE running around with other dogs here. Followed by a little relaxing in the shade under a tree. I also appreciate that this is the only dog park I've seen that has a portable toilet inside. It's great you don't have to leave the dog park to use the restroom. This is perfect if you come to the park alone, and don't have someone to keep an eye on your pups while you run off to use the restroom. We love coming to this dog park the most out of the Orange County dog parks we've been to.

06/27/2024 - dog park closed off for some reason. Unfortunately this was our first time here and there was nothing on the website about it being closed ... i hope someone else sees this before they drive all the way here today!

Best Dog Park in OC hands down! My dog Teddy loves this park so much. We truly enjoy coming to this park because it's so big and Teddy loves to play and run around. Talk about well-maintained grass, it's super green and has lovely trees. Also, I love to see how everyone is super friendly and we're all there for our fur babies. We normally go on a Friday or Sunday. Parking isn't bad at all. I highly recommend this place.

Big open grass area that offers plenty of space to run and play. We have found this dog park clean and well maintained and definitely one of the biggest we have been to. Dog owners overall have been respectful here and while we have seen a few aggressive dogs here it's been less than at some other dog parks. Best time to go is weekdays when there are less digs in the park. We do avoid the hill area of the park as there have been rattlesnake sightings there. The park is located along 133 and can be a little tricky to find the first time. Look for dog park sign. Park alongside street (parking meters).

So much green! This is easily my favorite dog park in Orange County, the park is huge and completely covered in beautiful, green grass. No more dusty muddy pups in the car! Tons of doggy bags to use and a drinking fountain for the humans and the doggos. Some benches and seats (they even have umbrellas!) are placed throughout the park. The only downside is that there isn't a parking lot, and you'll have to bust a U turn coming down the 133-S and find street parking. Meters are enforced!

    Any handicapped parking?

No specific parking spot, all street/metered parking. However, a few hundred feet before the park there's non-paid parking available IF you're so fortunate to score a spot. - Big Aloha!

Lots of trees on the small dog side with some benches to sit too, so everyone can be very comfortable.

Love strolling through Canyon View Park but only on weekdays…read more Parking here is nonexistent. You have to parallel park in specific areas and specific side of the street only. It's in the middle of a residential neighborhood and it will be hard to park during the weekends. It's an otherwise peaceful area to walk around in unless you have the unfortunate encounters with unleashed dogs, shrieking children due to the two playgrounds, or inconsiderate people talking extremely loudly on their smartphones. Sometimes you will encounter all 3 and by then, the walk with my dogs are ruined. My one dog is extremely shy and timid so I frequently have to carry her back to the car with another pulling beagle in tow. No fun at all. The poop bag stations are inconsistently filled and the park has dog droppings hidden in any areas of the grass or sidewalk. So if your dogs tend to eat stuff off the ground, WATCH OUT! Mine tried to roll in it and I so didn't appreciate it. The park also leads to several different trails that allows dogs for some of the paths. It will be an extremely steep hill to climb up and down if you access it from the Canyon View Park side. Not for the faint of heart and be aware it has little to no shade. Bring water, and don't attempt to climb if you have sandals on. It will get your feet dusty and good pair of NB or Hokas would really help. In all, I think it's a decent park to go to, but not my first choice due to noise, dog droppings, and ease of access. Avoid on weekends unless you like crowds.
