In continuing my hunt for Boston (celery ) eggrolls, I stopped in to Wah Sang. Inside is very clean and bright. Friendly staff told me that the egg roll filling is indeed celery! Another mention is that they use a good amount of ground pork that gives the filling a pinkish hue. They tasted great! I hope to stop in again for eggrolls and more off their menu. read more

A variety of Circus ice cream bars are available from the freezer. The food here is pretty good and the service is quick. The Curry Beef Puffs and Boneless Spareribs are my favorites here. It is not the best Chinese food I've had (I grew up going to NYC's Chinatown almost every week as a child) but it is the best I've found in Methuen. I always get delivery since I don't have a car. The staff has always been very nice. The food is pretty good and always arrives hot and fresh. So far my favorite is the chicken wings. I didn't like the beef chow foon. It tasted like they added sugar or a different sweetener. Uggh. The fried rice I had the other night had too much soy sauce for my taste but I can deal with that. I will order again! For the price and quality this is a hidden gem! It's a small place, the kind of mom and pop store that could go either way. I ordered a lo mein, which was done really quick and really good! Not impressed with the food. I ordered a common sweet and sour chicken but what I got was a chicken that looked like a fried chicken in beer batter. I am now 0 for 2 on my Chinese take out in Methuen. I don't think I am expecting too much but maybe it's me. Ordered sesame chicken with white rice. Took the standard 10 minutes. Portions were standard for Chinese take out which is to say large. Rice was sticky and starting to dry out. Chicken was super sweet and salty. I had to drown it in the white rice just to balance it out. Overall, I was unimpressed. I noticed that the reviews seem to be getting lower over time.
