Our first order was excellent! Delivery was so confusing the driver due to new construction. They were excellent in reaching out for help to deliver. All the food was delicious! Only disappointed because they don't have barbecued spare ribs on the bone! read more

Jade Garden ia a basic Chinese takeout restaurant located in a busy strip plaza (Subway, Little Caesar's). The plaza parking lot out front is very tight and can be tricky. They offer 26 lunch specials (served with pork fried rice, 1 appetizer, & can of soda) ($4.65-$5.65) and 28 combination plates ($5.95-$7.25) at very reasonable prices. The place is order at the counter with open kitchen and a few tables for dining in. I stopped here for lunch takeout and ordered the L16 Pork Fried Rice, Potk Lo Mein, 1 chicken teriyaki stick, and a can of Canada Dry ($5.05 with tax). The place was very busy (the phone was constantly ringing) and I got my food in 10 minutes. I was very hungry, but my food did not taste good. The portion of food was good, but they gave me chicken lo mein instead of the pork lo mein I ordered, which had soft chicken pieces and firm noodles drenched in lots of soy sauce. Not good. The pork fried rice (the short grain kind) was bland and overcooked with a mixture of tender and fatty pork chunks. The only decent item was the chicken teriyaki which was slightly charred, but very tender. read more

Their food is always good and prices are reasonable. They are busy most of the time, which goes to show that they are doing great food. Love their house special fried rice. Jade Garden has the best crab rangoon in all of Essex County...HANDS DOWN! Only bad thing when you go is that parking is hard since it's a busy small plaza with limited parking spots. read more

The best in the area. The food is always delicious and the service is fast and friendly. We usually order egg rolls, boneless spare ribs, chicken wings, wonton soup, house special lo mein and fried rice, egg foo young, and chicken and vegetables. If you live in the Methuen/Lawrence area this plac is as close to New York/ CT Chinese food that you will get! The offer online ordering,pick up or delivery. If you decide to pickup the food there are some money hungry people the lounge around outside asking for change so don't get caught lacking! The food was fresh and I love that the have yellow pork fried rice. I wish these included more chucks of ribs in the rice. The texture was fluffy more than fried. I ordered the combination plate with ribs, crab Rangoon and chicken. The ribs were thin with a nice glaze coating and not too dry. The crab ragoon was a bit over cooked but mainly inside cream cheese but it has the taste. I tried my wife's general tao chicken and it wasn't spicy more sweet than anything. We also order the lo mein house noodles and they were good as well just wish there was more meat. I've tried MANY Chinese food places around the area and this one will be my go to until I find a better place. read more

Today was the first time I tried jade garden.... this being said as a chef for the past 14 years the pork fried rice tastes freezer burned which is a taste hard to miss telling me it was left over to help food cost... The driver first called me (more than an hour after I placed my order) and had gone to the we wrong street address and even the wrong town. When I called to inform the restaurant about the foul tasting rice I was told "we sell alot of rice" I will not order from here again, I am very disappointed with the quality of food.... I typically give a lot of slack when I dine-in or order out given my field but I cant even eat what was delivered. read more

We ordered delivery from here last week and it was awesome. We got the beef with broccoli (good flavor) , General Tso chicken ( nice kick to the sweet/spicy sauce), chicken low mein (fresh vegetables mixed with good chewy noodles) and everything was delicious. Exactly the kind of American Chinese food that were looking for. We preferred this over Lee Chen, where we've also ordered from. read more

The people who work in this place are the most uneducated group of people. The food, isn't too bad. But their customer services are complete trash. I've had one too many bad experiences and here are my recent two: 1. I made a mistake. I forgot to provide my card information and made the driver leave EVEN after he "called and confirmed" that I had already provided my payment. He leaves and texts my phone (while on the job) and leaves a nasty message about how I'm poor and even called me nasty swears. ---- I still called to give my payment because it was an honest mistake. The owners took his side. 2. I called in for an order. 1 hour and 27 minutes pass and still no order. I called over 5 times to check on the delay because this restaurant is literally 6 minutes away... they spoke to me rude. Mind you it's been 1:30 minutes later. Cold food. And they still charged me. The most disgusting place to order from. We don't even know if they're putting nasty things into our food because they track who calls. Nasty character, you need to be educated on people. I've ordered here several times when I was doing laundry and I was always disappointed each time. I won't be going back anymore. I've found a better place and closer one too. The rice is plain or rock hard. The phone service is rude! They always charge me for duck sauce. The crab Rangoon is wicked flat and stale. Never again. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY! We made the mistake of ordering from this "establishment". The delivery driver made me stand on the porch to flag him down not being able to understand the delivery instructions. He then proceeded to run a stop sign, drive up on the lawn, and told me to "hurry up" because he was busy. The food was horrible. One dish was undercooked (raw dough), the other (crab rangoons) burned to a crisp. When I called to complain I was told there was "no one" in charge, and that it was not possible to contact the owner. He was completely unprofessional and condescending.
