But now the developers have made it so anyone can enjoy this awesome part of Auckland. They have kept all the old army hangers, one of which they've turned into an awesome farmers market. The best thing about this part of town is that you can enjoy they outer city lifestyle and just catch the ferry into town. In thirty mixtures you can be at your office job. The ferry doens't run loads but it's enough to get by. Fingers crossed the more people want to come to Hobsonville Point the more times the ferry will run.

I'd like to post a really great review about Maree Ellison from Ellison Property Management. I have…read moreused Maree to find tenants for my rental property a couple of times now. If you need a tenant finding service or a full on property manager, Maree is excellent and comes very well recommended! When we first went to rent our property, Maree did an appraisal so we knew how much rent to charge. She organised the marketing and advertising for us and arranged all the viewings. She short listed the best prospective tenants for us, credit and police checked them and called references. This saved us an awful lot of time and it didn't cost us a cent as the new tenants paid the finding fee, not us so even better. I did use Maree to do a full property inspection report which was very thorough. She detailed the condition of the property in a report for both the tenants and I to use as a baseline. The concrete and steel structure means it's very sturdy (and not going to have leaky home issues if you're looking to buy) and also keeps the noise down between apartments. I've lived here over a year and only had one party go down so it's a respectful, quiet block of 40 apartments and there have been more owner occupiers move in this year. The body Corp is very well managed and issues are tended to very quickly. The apartments are all two bedroom and the west facing apartments (best side) have two bathrooms, the east have one and a slightly larger balcony. Most apartments come with one car park but there is plenty of street parking for visitors or more cars. The west facing apartments have great views out to the Waitakere's and the afternoon sun of course. It's a great place to live and having Kingsland only a minute away makes it even better - for both dining, transport and Eden Park options.
