Recieved phone calls from this establishment and when I answered, whoever was on the other line hung up after I said hello. I received one at 2 PM then two phone calls before 10 PM and one just now at 1:15 AM. After the third phone call after 10 I called and spoke with three female staff members - two in the convenience store and then one in the bar alllllll claiming that the phones had not been touched within the last hour. I don't know who you are trying to reach over there from Wakepoint but I have two toddlers and one on the way, my household needs sleep. There is no need for this establishment to be calling at the ridiculous hour of almost 1:30 in the morning. I will be calling management and I will be asking them who was on staff during the hours I am writing about. I find this unprofessional and clearly the staff has some time on their hands to be calling random numbers. read more

Great atmosphere and great food. We had the pizza and our son had barbecue. It was all very good. Love it!!

Horrible We left,4 of us. Limited seating, mostly outdoors on a deck. Burgers but no fries, just chips. Imagine July ,105*, deck facing West. Will be good for lake people,weekenders, but not for locals who want a place to return to frequently. And then, $7.00 for a glass of box wine. Get real people. You have a loser on your hands. Stopped in for a pizza today. Fantastic, fresh, all the toppings you want on a large for just $14.99! The best pizza we've had in a long while! Tried this place today. It looks pretty nice with a good view and the ladies serving were friendly. However, it took FOREVER for the burgers with no fries to come out. They were basically cold when they showed up. And mine came out with NO MEAT on it. It was a bun with veggies. How do you forget to put the meat on?!? Everyone else in our group finished eating and I had to go demand my burger. The redone burger had been sitting behind the bar probably for a while and they didn't know who's it was. Another group left while we were there because they ordered burgers too and it took too long. read more

Worst service I have ever received in a restaurant. The food was the same as frozen-to-microwave gas station food like you find at a QT and RaceTrac. Our server, Matt, was drunk out of his mind, took 45 minutes before coming to our table after ordering apps and then forgot to ring in our dinner for another 30 minutes. Then once the food came, half of the things we ordered were missing. All the while, the other server there, chose to sit down in the table next to us and smoke a cigarette. The poor girl who was waiting on us was brand new and nobody was training her. She couldn't answer any of our questions. That's not her fault - that's poor management. We were here for TWO HOURS waiting to get our food. We asked multiple times if they could check on our food and they kept saying they would and didn't. I finally asked them to bring us some crackers or chips for the kids because it was 2:00 and they still hadn't had lunch and were melting down. They brought us 2 bags of chips for 8 kids. Thanks for that generous potion guys. Mimosa was warm. Bread on sandwiches was soggy. Chicken strips were overdone. It was a disaster. So, maybe go here for drinks - never food and never with kids. read more

This place has everything! Great BBQ, great view and great drinks. Fill up with gas, lots of great snacks and much more in the store. Been here many times- any time I'm in the area and always great service. A few weeks back we went to Wakefest- it was an awesome event for the whole family! Went today and was so disappointed. Took about 1 hr for cold burgers. Out orders was not even close to what we ordered. It's was a cold day outside so the outdoor patio was closed in. Of course a lady was smelling the whole place up with Cigarettes. Gross. I gave them the opportunity to make it right and they did not. Too bad I had really high hopes for this place. read more

I did not try the restaurant. This is for the lakeside store / marina only. There are no ropes on the docks to tie your boat. The employees just stand there and don't help you dock your boat or tie it up. Poor customer service. read more

Worst station in the entire Hill Country area. The place looks nice, but the employees are terrible. Worst customer service you will ever receive. They will stand behind the counter, talking amongst themselves acting like they don't see you. View is great, atmosphere is casual. We had brisket, ribs, pizza and philly cheese steak. Bbq and pizza were good, other stuff from the freezer. Waitstaff overwhelmed and our service was terrible. If you just want a drink by the water this is it, but don't be in a hurry. read more

This place was absolutely lit. I had the 4 piece chicken tendies and tater tots, absolutely smothered in ranch. I then began pouring my Michelob ultra (because I'm an athlete) into my skinny margarita and it slapped. I frequent Wakepoint to fill up my watercraft and to have a beer. However, the last few times I've been disappointed with the cleanliness of the facility - the bathrooms were a wreck and tables were dirty and left unattended. Won't be hanging out there for awhile. Hope they get it together. read more

Friendly service, cold beer, great food. Plenty of shaded and breeze on the second level and perfect location on the water.

We went on Memorial Day weekend. They were not prepared. An hour and a half wait for a hamburger. At least they told us up front. The food truck Dillahuntys was out of everything. We could buy water at the store. Margaritas were the highlight, hence 2 stars. We ended up going elsewhere for dinner. Will not return. read more

I love going to Wakepoint and sitting on the outside deck eating a veggie pizza and watching the sunset! One of the best viewing places in Kingsland! Wakepoint just received the 2019 Outstanding New Business of the Year from the Kingsland Chamber of Commerce. Well deserved!! read more

Wife wanted to have a burger at Wakepoint LBJ, so we boated over, they have nice slips but not an abundance number of slips. We got our burger from the Slice, which in the Store. Great burger. I will go again, but next time need to check out the bar on the second story. read more
