Brian and his crew at WakeTech Marine are absolutely the most capable, trustworthy and professional service providers! I've been a delighted customer for 13years where Brian has been our partner in creating wonderful family boating memories. He's kept our boat running reliably giving me complete confidence even when venturing 75 miles up river at Lake Powell. It's a pleasure doing business and I enjoy total peace of mind knowing I'm in good hands!

Great experience with the team at Waketech. We had a boat inspection done on a used boat we are considering buying. Brian was very knowledgeable, honest and helpful. He thoroughly reviewed the boat and confirmed that the boat is ready for fun this season. We would highly recommend them for any service or purchase. These guys KNOW their craft!

Brian, Nick and his crew literally just left our place in havasu after doing a diagnostic and repair on our boat!

Lake Skinner - A Perfect Camping & Glamping Escape!…read more Yesterday, I packed up my two boys (ages 8 & 10) and their friend from school (also 8) for our very first camping/glamping adventure at Lake Skinner--and it was absolutely perfect. We booked a site with just the basics--electrical and water hookups--for only $50, which was all we needed for our tiny camper. The campground was clean, well-organized, and had plenty of open sites with different options and amenities, including a camp store for convenience. Some of our favorite spots were the splash pad and the playgrounds--perfect for keeping the kids entertained. Even if you just come for the day, these areas alone make it worth the trip. The kids had a blast, and it was wonderful seeing so many other families enjoying themselves too. Since we had their friend with us, we left around 8 PM to drop him back home--only about a 20-minute drive to Murrieta--then returned to the campsite, played a few games in the camper, and settled in for the night. With a 6 AM wake-up, we still made it home in time to freshen up, eat breakfast, and get the kids ready for school. (We even packed their backpacks just in case we needed to go straight from camp!) My boys haven't stopped talking about the trip--how much fun they had, how exciting it was to sleep overnight, and how much they want to go back. As a retired Navy Chief (41 years old) now balancing a busy real estate career, this is exactly how I want to spend my free time--unplugging, connecting with nature, and making lasting memories with my kids. Affordable, family-friendly, and packed with fun--Lake Skinner has definitely earned a spot on our repeat list. We can't wait to do it again!

I bought my boat from Inland Boat Center in March 2024 through Taylor and Mr. Hellman. At the time…read moreof sale, the experience was excellent--very responsive, very friendly, and full of assurances that made me feel confident doing business there. I purchased a 2021 Manitou Aurora for $32,000, which I still own and have only put about 30 hours on. A major part of that conversation was a trailer they agreed to sell me for $2,800 out the door. I was told it only needed brakes and that I would get a call when it was ready. I followed up several times and kept hearing delays, including that the wrong brakes had been installed and they needed more time. Eventually the communication stopped completely. Since then, no one has followed through, no one has updated me, and now the original agreement is treated as if it never happened. Instead, the only option presented is a new trailer for around $7,000. I also recently asked what they would offer if they bought the boat back. After paying $32,000 and barely using it, I was offered $16,000. Even getting that answer took repeated effort because emails and calls were ignored until I physically walked into the showroom. Service has been equally disappointing. When I bought the boat, I was specifically told that because I am a Canyon Lake customer they would arrange pickup and delivery for service. When I called recently, I was told there is now a $200 transportation charge and that I would need to take it up with Taylor. I texted Taylor directly again and still received no response. I was also quoted around $1,000 for a basic oil change and impeller replacement, while other boat service centers quoted substantially less for the same work. I have been in sales for over 20 years, and one thing I understand clearly is that customer service after the sale matters more than the sale itself. What stands out most here is how dramatically the customer experience changed once the transaction was complete. Before the purchase, communication was immediate. After the purchase, promises became difficult to verify, follow-up became almost nonexistent, and basic customer service became a struggle. For anyone considering buying here: document everything, get every commitment in writing, and do not rely on verbal promises alone. Based on how this has been handled, I would not purchase from Inland Boat Center again, and I would not recommend that friends, family, or anyone I know buy or service a boat there.

Doing something on this lake had been on my mother's bucket list for years, so we finally made a…read morevisit. I booked the pedal reservation weeks in advance, and the registration was simple. The ladies greeted us with smiles, the four person boat was easy enough to navigate, and the lake was peaceful. Wow $15 per person was a bit steep for an hour of peace, it was reasonable and everyone had a good time. The only areas for improvement was that the day had started off grey so I left two voicemails to ensure the boats would be available and that despite it being a Friday afternoon in May, that someone would be there. While I never received a return call, everything ran smoothly. The second feedback is that there were spiderwebs on the middle table between the two seats. It would have been nice for that to have been cleaned before our arrival instead of discovering it as I took my jacket off. In any case, we had a great time and despite the heavy load of four grown adults, two of us had no trouble peddling. It was a beautiful day. Update: the reminder email was really well written. If a note could be in there on how or times to reach during off season would be sufficient. As for the webs, one gal was training the other, so I'm sure it was a simple oversight. I changed my review from 4 to 5.

Hi Wynn, Sorry I didn't see your response on Yelp, so I am…read moredelayed in responding. I can't seem to reply to your comment so posting here. To clarify, I first rented your mini-pontoon on September 1, 2024 - that cost was $60...we had 2 adults and 3 children on the boat. That is more expensive than what was offered at the lake before and many people can't afford that. I did see the Friday night special offered in November for $10 , so yes we did take a boat ride then too. I believe there were 4 nights last year that had reduced rates. Regarding accessibility, I am the spokesperson for the residents in Harveston that would like to see the cruise-style pontoon boats back in our lake. It has been heartbreaking to hear from residents who can no longer use the lake like once did. I have heard from a disabled Veteran who used to go on the boat with his dog and no longer can on the ones you offer. My elderly neighbors are no longer able to use the style you have either and I used to go out with them. These are just a few of the people that have been affected. I have shared my cell before in an attempt to speak with you directly and help get the cruise pontoon back in the lake. We have found a USA manufacturer (not China) who makes the same kind we had before. We are willing to purchase it for the lake. I say all that to say, I hope you understand this is not just coming from me, and certainly nothing to do with "my standards" as you remarked, but from many residents and lake goers that cannot use the lake as they once did for boat rides. This lake and situation are unique in that we cannot drop our own boats in the lake; residents are limited to just what is available at the boat dock. We have an online petition that was circulated just within Harveston residents (private group) and we have over 100 signatures. Thank you for your consideration. 310.945.7677
