We found a spot at the bar and the bartender greeted us immediately. We ordered drinks and checked out the fun shots menu on the wall. He said he didn't really know those shots so we just ordered a shot that we knew. He accidentally put something wrong in it but we tasted it. It was good so we drank it. He was a good vibe and nothing about this interaction was a negative!! We got the loaded tots and 2 burgers. The loaded tots had too many onions for my liking but they were still good and we were pleasantly surprised by the burgers! In the end we ended up coming back the next day too just because we could. Got the nachos and we weren't sad! My one negative, but I didn't remove a star because it would seem I'm in the minority, which i don't understand... live music. They had a band come in towards the end of our visit, which is what ultimately made it the end of our visit. The place is small, the band is loud.. conversing with friends ends at the point that the band starts. All in all.. highly recommend this place. Full bar, really good menu. After 10 minutes with no service, my husband went to the host stand asking for our server. It took another 4 minutes for her to arrive... She didn't apologize for the delay, and after a few comments from us she said no one told her we were there. So... We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. My soup was brought out almost 5 minutes after the others. The drinks were brought out after the soup and one of our drinks was missing. The baked potato soup was soupy with hardly any potatoes in it. My medium steak was rare and had to be sent back. The prime rib was served without horseradish and we had to remind her to bring it. The prime rib was cold upon arrival. Our table did not have any condiments (the other tables all had a condiment stand with ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, etc.) and none were ever offered our brought. Oh, and by the time she returned for me to send my steak back, the others were pretty much done eating. When the server brought our check, she did apologize for our inconvenience, but no effort was made to comp our bill or ensure our satisfaction. (We were so ready to go at this point we did not ask for a manager). So disappointing... And they really weren't all that busy.
