Dr. Waldman is a great surgeon. However, save your money on other procedures like Juvaderm. I plopped down $1,600 for some fillers in my face and was extremely dissatisfied due to the fact that there was little to change in my appearance. Dr. Waldman had been running a promo where you received 20% off for all procedures paid in advance. That's all I asked for (several times), but they absolutely would not budge. They offered me a $200 credit towards a future service. This short-sighted business decision has resulted in a patient that will never go back and this negative Yelp review. Save your $$ on fillers. Will sum this up in a sentence in case people don't want to read this whole review: Dr waldman was either uninformed or dishonest which resulted in me spending over $1,500 and 3 weeks later having zero result. Even the person who recommended Dr waldman to me has seen my results and has stated they will never go back there I came here for lip fillers, ended up paying roughly $1,600 for 2 ml within 2 months and it's been a few weeks since the second one and they're already barely noticeable. My first experience was uncomfortable I wasn't asked for pictures he was very brisque and I trusted what he was telling me was true so I ended up going with a milliliter of restylane. After that I felt they weren't nearly noticeable enough which from friends experiences 1 ml should have been plenty,so I emailed while on vacation to try to make an appointment because of that and because my lips were a bit uneven which might have been more of a me thing, but when I got back I hadn't received an email back so I called and after not receiving a call back, I left a review on the website. I then got a call back and made a second appointment, which was incredibly uncomfortable. The doctor came in, and to say it nicely, was a little intense about the review. I felt a bit attacked for having left, what I aimed to be, a very nice review stating that I was not able to get a hold of them, and what I needed fixed. (I even mentioned here how friendly the staff was, which they are!) After that 2nd apt, I spoke with a family friend who's a plastic surgeon and asked about many of the facts that I had read about that Dr waldman had told me were incorrect, which is why I waited to write the review- because I wanted to check with someone besides the internet. Whether or not he was dishonest or uninformed I obviously cannot say, however I'm not sure one is better than the other. But here are the things that I asked specifically about and was given an answer that is incorrect: The prices of restalyne and Juvederm-in fact he told me one thing the first appointment and then switched it on me the second appointment to try to make what he was trying to give me sound more alluring I assume The time frame- I specifically asked at my last appointment if the Juvederm lasted longer or the restalyne lasted longer and he told me the restylane lasted longer- specifically, he told me juvederm was only 6mo while restalyne would be 12mo-which I specifically remember questioning because I'd read the opposite. I asked both appointments if the restalyne had the same instant results as the Juvederm, which he scoffed at actually-and that's another thing that I've read and now been told is not the case. I was told that if I was unhappy with my choice in the restalyne I could come back and choose something else the next time and when I did just that, I was told I could not get the Juvederm because it would give me an allergic reaction with the restylane. He then assured me the restalyne would do the trick, yet here I am $1,600, 2 ml and barely 3 weeks later and I've been told by just about everybody that they can barely notice. So essentially just this whole experience was very weird and uncomfortable and I regret it. I was never asked if he wanted to see any of the photos that I had as examples, which is another thing I was told should have happened. I see lots of other people have had successes here and that's what made me want to come here but I guess just don't ask for the restalyne, because I'm not exaggerating when I say $1,600 2 mL 3 weeks later 0 change from what my original lips were. I'm going to attach photos if I can with time stamps so you can see what I'm talking about but otherwise just ask for the Juvederm. The last thing I want to say is that all the staff were thoughtful&helpful and I did find it quite telling that at the end of my last apt he threw his staff right under the bus in his "apology" I'm going to consider this a very expensive learning experience because I will never go back in that office for fear of his reaction, because of how he reacted last time over something so small. I have been weighing the pros and cons because I truly do feel like I just wasted that money and would have liked to work out a deal with them but after his last reaction I know that that's not going to be possible if I am going to say these things that I think need to be said so hopefully I help somebody else make a smarter choice in fillers at the very least and I'll do better next time too. read more

Had my first appointment today and was very happy with the visit. I was called back on time and did not have to wait long at all for my Dr. Over all very personable and friendly staff. He never rushed through our appointments and his staff was (and continues to be) responsive to questions or concerns. My nine year old daughter, my husband, and myself have all been patients. Hands down one of the worst doctor experiences I've ever had. First, they charge you $100 just for a 10 minute consultation on a possible plastic surgery. That would be ok ... IF this doctor had even the smallest ability to speak with and relate to people.... and not be so "robotic" in his approach & attitude. It was as if my appointment was an inconvenience to him in some way. He is totally unfriendly, even a bit scary, and 100% NOT a person i would ever feel comfortable operating on me. He was condescending, cocky, & rude. He made me feel crappy about myself!! It is the most uncomfortable I have ever felt in a doctor appt, and I have a lot of experience interacting with all types of doctors. You can be a decent surgeon, but if you have zero people skills - screw that! There are plenty of other great surgeons out there to hire. Secondly, for all the pre-work paperwork they make me fill out (@8 pages worth)... its just k that I took the time to do all of THEIR paperwork, but yet when they came in the room to see me... they asked me if I was there for a consultation on the wrong procedure. If you are looking for a place that will be upfront and honest with you and office staff that can properly answer any questions you have, this is NOT the place!! I called the office a month ago and spent a good 15 or so minutes talking to someone in the office about exactly what procedures I was looking to get done. Rather than being honest with me and telling me that its not a procedure the Doctor performs she bated me in to book a consultation and not until after they charged me the consult fee, had me do all the paper work, and had me wait to see the Doctor, did i finally learn from Dr. Waldman that he does not perform the procedure they had me come in for a consult for. I had breast cancer 16 years ago and have not felt good about myself all this time. My Oncologist suggested I speak with Dr. Waldman about reconstructive surgery. He and his staff were so compassionate and helpful. He did such a great job I no longer have a big dent in breast and I am even again, no padding one cup of my bra. I've been seeing Dr Waldman for over 4 years now and he and his staff have been awesome! His work is truly SO great! He did my eyes (I look incredible and better than I did in my 20's!), I had an acne pit fixed, regular botox injections, regular fillers to fix my crooked chin and to fill in frown lines, lips and such, 4 moles removed. When I'm 50 (I'm 47 now), I'm definitely going to him for a face/neck lift or whatever he recommends. He never makes me look fake or like an actress in Hollywood. His bedside manner is always very good, his staff always polite and helpful.
