I was in the market for a new vehicle, I didn't have reliable transportation so I shopped on line and saw that Waldorf Honda was the closest Honda dealership to where I lived. I put my information out and a salesman reached out to me and told me that he thought that he had a couple of vehicles that I would like. On July 21, 2026 I went into the dealership and he showed me a Honda Civic and I test drove the vehicle and I liked it but it was smaller than what I wanted because I specifically wanted a Honda Accord EXL as I had stated when I put my information on the web site. The following day I went back to look at another vehicle which was a 2017 Honda CR-V and really like it, I test drove the vehicle and decided to Purchase it. I had been approved by my Credit Union for $18,000 and the selling price for the vehicle was $17,000. So we completed all the paperwork and I took possession of the vehicle. It was late in the evening and I am an elderly female and my vision is not great and I don't drive at night. The dealership is approximately seven miles from my residence so I went straight home parked the vehicle and went inside. My plan was to drive to the Hampton Rd area in VA to visit family. I got up the next morning which was the 23rd of July and when I started the vehicle every light on the dashboard came on, I shut the vehicle off and restarted it, the same thing happened I took pictures of this and went inside and told my daughter what happened and she agreed that I shouldn't try to make the trip it was to dangerous to trust that the vehicle wouldn't breakdown before I completed the trip. I called the dealership and spoke with my salesman and was told to bring the vehicle into the dealership. At this point I don't want this vehicle. If the CarFax report gave the vehicle a good inspection and the dealership did a diagnostic on the vehicle then they were fully aware of any problems that the vehicle had. Needless to say I was upset and I was hurt that they would do something like this to a customer. When I arrived back at the dealership with the vehicle I was met by my salesman and I explained to him that I didn't want the vehicle he went and got a sales manager, the sales manager came out with an attitude and told me, "we have cashed your check that's your car, SMILE." I was livid. They provided me with a loaner, at this point I don't know what to do, I had no way of getting home. Being upset and hurt I took the loaner and went home, when I got home I told my daughter what happend and that I didn't even want the loaner, so we took the loaner back. They still insisted that the Honda CR-V was my vehicle and they would fix the problems and I could pick it up when the work was completed. The vehicle was sent to another shop for repairs. The following Monday I got a call from the salesman saying that the vehicle had been repaired, I explained to him that I didn't want the vehicle, I also stated that I had at least a three day period to return the vehicle The sales manager said that I didn't. At my son in laws request I returned to the dealership and picked the vehicle up and took it to a shop for another diagnostic, the report shows that there are still repairs that's going to be needed because of the high mileage that's on the vehicle, 127,000 plus miles. The dealership refuse to do the repairs which leads me to believe that they are betting on the warranty expiring before the repairs are needed. I am at my Witt ends because I feel like I was truly robbed and taking advantage of. In the fifty-five years that I have been purchasing vehicles I have never experienced anything like this. I am from Tampa and recently moved to the DMV. Waldorf Cigar Bar and Lounge was the first place that reminded me of home. They have a great selection of cigars. The lounge area is an open space but set so you can be alone with your group or feel part of the entire area. The humidor staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Russel is great to talk to and has an extreme knowledge of cigars. The bar staff is very attentive to your needs and a stocked bar with great drinks. Disclaimer- I don't smoke and we haven't tried the cigars yet. I came here to pick up cigars for my husband's birthday. I am super pregnant (due in a few weeks), so I called ahead to have an idea of what it was I needed to I could move fast. I had my mask on and as soon as I walked in, a gentleman recognized I was pregnant and immediately helped me so I could get in and get out. I wish I got his name because he was great. He helped me pick out a variety of cigars for my husband and his boys. He was also kind enough to give me a cigar box that they were going to throw away so I could use it for presentation. If I wasn't pregnant, I would have looked around more. Seems like a hidden gem in Waldorf. I recently had the worst shopping experience I've ever had in my life. A few weeks ago I stopped in to check on some cigars. I asked the manager at the counter about them and he didn't show me where they were he told me round about even though he was doing nothing at the time. After finding them on my own and walking out he stared at me strangely so I asked him did he have a problem. He replied what did you do with them cigars you had in your hand while looking at my pockets. I was instantly furious that he was accusing me of stealing them. Then he asked me to pull my pockets out and it got a little ugly then. So I told him to call the police then he started apologizing repeatedly. I told him accusing someone of stealing is something you can't apologize from. As usual he was of my same race. Instead of serving his customer with great customer service to make him wanna come back he treated him like a thief and pushed me away. Not knowing I'm a collector of cigars and high end lighters. It's not as full as it's used to when I drive past and now I know why. Very disappointed and won't be returning. read more

Unplanned nights are the best! I had a great time for me not to be a regular cigar smoker. Good music, good drinks, good smoke and good vibes. After doing some crowd sourcing you can tell that the regulars come here faithfully. No food is being served, however you are allowed to BYOF (bring your own food) or have it delivered. I believe it was crowded on this particular Saturday night because of a jazz band and the fight was being shown on the big screens. My only complaint is the bathroom . . . perhaps you can create a supply closet in lieu of it being in the women's bathroom???? There is an assortment of cigars that you can choose from and the staff here and very pleasant and knowledgeable of the products they sell. I opted for something light and it did the job. Started smoking cigars in July 23. Went here for advice and made purchases. Until today always courteous and helpful. Today returned a fairly expensive cigar I had purchased Oct 3. Tried to smoke it last night and the wrapper came apart. Took the cigar back today and the employee was very close to being rude. He said it was my humidor's fault and that I don't understand how cigars work. Tinder Box will not replace the cigar. I have suspended my business with the Tinder Box. Came here looking for a particular item. Multiple staff working. Upon entering, not a single one gave a greeting, or asked if we could use assistance. I brushed it off initially, as we probably (definitely) don't look like your average cigar smoker. We couldn't find what we needed so we approached the counter. One employee was smoking a cigar, looked at us, and intentionally turned his back to us so that he wouldn't have to talk to us. The other employee did his best not to make eye contact, but gave in once I started trying to talk to him. If he had completely ignored me, his level helpfulness would have been equal. Honestly, we felt super unwelcome, and had the sickening feeling it may have been a race thing. I'm fairly certain the only reason they didn't deny us entry to the shop is because our money is just as green as everyone else's. I needed a particular cigar accessory and was to looking to purchase it plus a dozen or cigars for an upcoming event. It was clear we weren't wanted or welcome, so we took our money elsewhere. Besides the insanely shitty customer service, the shop did appear to have a very large selection of cigars available, as well as a barber shop on site. I don't recommend this place at all. We're in the Golden triangle, there's hundreds of other cigar shops you can (and should) give your business to. read more

Aphelion Cigar Lounge, Cigars 210 and Aroma Cigar Lounge pale in comparison! Tinder Box is more than twice the size of these other lounges and they offer a full bar. The aforementioned lounges are BYOB! Aphelion has beer and wine but they can't sell it. They want you to make an educated donation if you know what I mean..LOL. Civil Cigar lounge does offer a full service bar but it doesn't meet the 20 mile radius criteria!!! Tinder box has a HUGE cigar and cigar accessory selection... One stop shopping at it's finest. This is a GREAT place to watch a game, because they have several large flat screens, comfortable leather chairs and sofas along with high top bar tables throughout! Shelly's Backroom on F Street is my favorite Cigar spot because not only do they have a bar, they have really good food, so they get 6******'s!! As far as cigar smoking goes, I consider myself a novice but even my cigar aficionado buddies would agree with my 5 star rating!!! more like 4.5 stars. i had my eye on this place for a while and when i finally got to this area , i made it a point to stop here. i am by no means a cigar aficionado but i do enjoy them from time to time , as they are a good way to chill out and meet some cool folks i happened to come on a very good night. they had free catered food and live music. the band was actually really good, with great percussion. the food was decent, i dont complain when its free, they have a very large cigar selection and their humidor is very expansive. i have two major issues though: 1. i didnt find the staff to be very interested in helping me or any customer out. which is a bit unusual compared to many other cigar shops/lounges i have been to. maybe we all had faces like we know what we were doing but there wasnt even a soul to even ask a question inside the humidor. i ended up chatted with another customer and we exchanged selections of things we have tried in past experiences 2. their prices are a bit on the higher end. some of the same cigars they stock, i have found in dc to be cheaper. the lounge: very nice, love the leather couches. i also love the long stick matches they give you to light up. this was useful because i didnt have my torch lighter with me. they also have a torch lighter if you want that. the bar: pretty extensive, the bartender was nice. i had a makers mark for my whisky sour and it was ok. i dont like that they served this is in a plastic cup/glass. it makes it look cheap. overall, i did enjoy this lounge. i think i would revisit if i found myself in the area. hey yelpers ! i am on Instagram, find me @travelingtyro read more

I absolutely LOVE this place! It gets smokey with a lot of people present but the aroma is so intoxicating, it's not an issue to me. The selection is awesome and the prices are very reasonable; they have a great bar with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to pair with your cigars; the lounge is very sizable with comfy leather chairs as well as tables for seating; plenty of flat screen televisions to watch sporting events, especially football in the fall and NCAA March Madness tourney action in the spring. The best thing about the Tinderbox is the staff and the regular patrons. I've only been coming a little more frequently over the past few weeks and the staff has always been friendly and the patrons have no problems saying hello to you. I absolutely love it here. Drinks and cigars at decent prices. Have a few friends that I meet here on the regular and we have a good time. Friday nights there's a live band and they play a good mix between r&b and old school music. Saturday nights they have a fantastic jazz band and the vibe is just really cool. Good people, no drama, good service and it just feels like a family. Everybody knows everybody. They don't have food, however, they keep the menus for the restaurants in the same shopping center and you can just order food and walk to pick it up or ask them to bring it over. I'm glad I attended the cigar Meetup. This place sits right off of 301 and it's definitely a place I would regularly attend if I lived in DMV. They have a pretty good humidor a little crowded but they have a nice selection. I was thoroughly impressed with their bar. They didn't half do it. They have some top-notch scotch and whiskey options to pair with the cigars. The environment is definitely a mature crowd but very welcoming and very clean. They have TVs all over the place in addition to a number of leather couches and high tables to sit at. All they do have a bar They don't serve food so you can bring your own. Smoke em if you got em! Tinder Box is a pretty solid cigar bar and maybe the best all around cigar bar in the PG area. Plenty of smokes for sale, plenty of seating, both barstools and couches and finally lots of TVs for game day viewing. TB offers a fully stocked bar that's fairly priced. The also have tons of lockers for the true connoisseurs to rent to protect and store their finest stogies. The demerits TB earn are obvious, fair and quite possible easily solved. TB needs food: a weekend buffet or a small limited menu would be a major improvement over ordering from the local carry-out as many do each night. (The other MD cigar bars prescribe to the same process of allowing you to order delivery as well). Secondly TB suffers from poor ventilation, again as most cigar bars do, often sending you home smelling like a walking ashtray. A couple of ceiling exhaust fans would probably do the job. Lastly TB bathrooms could use a little upgrading. That being said I thoroughly enjoyed my evening at TB. The staff was nice and friendly and the patrons were respectful and fun to jaw with throughout the game. I will most certainly be returning. read more

I've been here a few times to get my husband a few Cigars but today by far was the worst! Out of at least 4 ppl working there no one seemed to want to help me and simply ignored me. I went to get some LFD cigars but forgot and asked for the LCD. They told me they didn't have any LCD and because I had driven 45 min to get there I was adamant on trying my best to get the ones I came for. I asked if they could look up by customer number (my husband is a junky and often comes here) and the uninterested guy said no. I asked if they had anything that sounded remotely close to what I wanted and 2 guys said no. I knew the price and where they were last time I had gotten em a few months back and they seemed to not really pay attention as if I was bothering them. I have never had such a poor experience with help, I even described the way the wrapper looked and again it fell on deaf ears. One guy acted as if he knew what I was taking about and said hold on and went to the stock (humidor it's very large walk in) and 10 min later he's smoking with someone and laughing. Wow yeah I felt dumb standing around for nothing and left. Never again I found the name when I got home and ordered them online I guess my money wasn't needed today, too bad I was looking to buy a box. read more
