We visited on a Friday evening. The cashier told us right away that they had a 20 minute delay on cooking some things like rotisserie chicken. It didn't effect our choices. We ordered and found a nice table over near the bar. My husband then ordered a beer for himself and a cider for me. Our food didn't take long at all. Our appetizer cheesy rolls came out first. They were pretty good, dense, cakey, and sweet. Our entrees followed about five minutes later. I had the three piece chicken tenders. It was a LOT of food. The chicken was especially good. I don't get breaded fried chicken often, as it can upset my stomach, but I had no such issues here. The house sauce was delicious for dipping. The shoestring fries were great. I love coleslaw but there's underwhelmed me, as it was kind of bland. My husband had the larger tender meal along with their hot rub and hot oil. He said they weren't especially hot to him but they were delicious. Our son had two sides together, the macaroni and cheese and fries, and enjoyed them both. In all, a great place. We were in the area for our annual trip to Bentonville...My wife had heard of it on her social media...We were hungry and they fixed our hunger! Prices were definitely reasonable for the amount of quality food you get. The kids meals were enough to split...but my two diva daughters were undecided on one thing. So 2 kids meals it was. We love Waldos! This location has a nice outdoor dog friendly patio, a large bar with tvs, and a nice dining room. The chicken themed art inside is funny. I think they are different than all the other chicken restaurants because they have rotisserie chicken, fried tenders, and for their sandwiches they use fried chicken thighs instead of breast. I love their selection of sides including cheese bread, white beans, collards, potato wedges, and tomato and cucumber salad. They also have a full bar and drinks specials all the time. They have a small kids menu and a good selection of salads and apps too. Highly recommend trying them out! read more

The hubs chose BBQ sauce and Habanero Oil. Our oder came out very quickly. While I did try the sauces - which were very tasty, I preferred to each my tenders with no sauce. The flavor of the tenders themselves was amazing. It reminded me of the gas station chicken of my childhood. There's no shortage of chicken tender specialty restaurants these days, so they have to stand out to pull people in. The Yelp reviews + proximity to my hotel had me checking out this chicken. The verdict? Pretty damn good. I'd just driven in, and I've given up my road trip vices and snacks so needless to say, I was pretty damn hungry. They have a nice if not overwhelming breakdown of all their dipping sauces when you walk in; I tried a jalapeno ranch and their house sauce, both of which were crazy good. My chicken tenders were also very good. Grabbed a spot outside and service was quick to bring them out. The breading was super crispy, and the chicken seemed to be of good quality; aka, not chewy/woody/weird. The fries were OK, could've been hotter and crispier but the sauce helped carry them over the finish line. Workers are friendly and we love the fact they offer our grandson a cookie if he eats his food and grandma says it's ok. I would love to give this a five star rating; I was very excited to have a Waldo's here, as we have often driven the two hours to go to the one in Tulsa. Some of this may be due to them being newly opened and going through growing pains. There is plenty of potential for them to be great! I asked for one of the meals to be fried chicken with two legs and a breast. They said they could not substitute so the workaround was to order a white 1/4 chicken and a dark 1/4 chicken. I also ordered a white 1/4 roasted with sides and a couple of large sweet teas. The girl who took the order was friendly and seemed very confident but totally left off the 1/4 fried chicken white and wrote up a 1/4 roasted dark. After fixing the order and paying for the 1/4 fried white I went to get the sweet teas. They were out of sweet tea so I informed the manager who tacitly acknowledged me. One of the other employees came out of the back and proceeded to make unsweet tea. The manager asked what I still needed and I told him they were still out of sweet tea and that the young lady was making unsweet tea. He said, "we can only make one at a time." The fried chicken breast was cooked fine on the outside but the meat was undercooked inside, with a smell and look of raw chicken. The white beans had very little flavor to them. The roasted chicken was good but we both had stomach issues after eating here. I hope they improve, as we really enjoy the Waldo's in Tulsa! read more
