I've been wanting to try the last few times I was visiting the area and I've finally made my way here and it was just what I expected and hoped for! I had asked the employee what they would recommend and how it works and he recommended the fruity which has pineapple in it and I was sold. Ordering was quick and the restaurant was clean and easy to find a seat. The food came out promptly. The salad was very flavorful and filling and on a wonderfully soft croissant. The Mac and cheese was ok, I would probably try some other sides next time through. I like the touch of the cookie that comes a a little surprise treat. This place is awesome. Great idea for a simple, quick lunch. This is the only Chicken Salad Chick in this area. It can get pretty busy during lunch so be prepared to wait. My favorite things about here are the friendly, helpful staff, the great app/email with rewards, and the simple menu with tasty seasonal add ons. I love the chicken salad (of course), my favorite being Buffalo Barclay, Classic Carol, and Cramberry Kelli. You can get it alone with crackers or as a sandwich. I also really like their soups. My kids get soup every time. They change daily and seasonally. Broccoli salad and grape salad are the best fresh sides! I could eat just those! My main problem with this location though, is consistency. I got dinner to go tonight, and it was ok, but little things are often missing or incorrect. No topping on the grape salad and on the chicken salad BLT the 2 tomatoes were so thin they fell apart to mush. Not what I was expecting from a BLT. Wonderful new restaurant in Fayetteville! I frequent this place when we go home to Louisiana and was so excited to see them in Hog country!! I have already visited here twice since opening day. Some of my favorites include Jalapeños Holly, Kicken Kaylin and Lauryn's Lemon Basil. I usually eat by itself or pair with the classic salad. The chicken salads are gluten free but the do not have gluten free bread or crackers. I usually order the chicken salad to go and eat with my gluten free crackers at home. A small suggestion I would make is for them to provide gluten free crackers for us with celiac or gluten sensitivity;-). The atmosphere is cozy and casual. This is a great lunch spot or girls gathering. Sit back, enjoy an endless cup of sweet tea and talk over yummy chicken salad. It is even a good lunch date! Okay guys I waited to review until I went twice. The first time I went opening day. The service was fast, incredibly fast for how packed the place was. The employees were very friendly and helpful, the food was DELICIOUS! I tried the Sassy Scotty, on a croissant with a side of pasta salad. Fast forward to today. It's been a couple of weeks since the grand opening, so I figured it would be a good test. Still the service was impeccable, fast, friendly and accommodating. They were happy to give sample to try. The Co-owner was walking around greeting customers, cleaning, and engaging in friendly chit chat. He honestly seem interested in your thoughts about the food and service. I tried the Dixie Chick on wheat toast and a side of Mac and cheese. Guys hands down the Dixie chick was the best chicken salad I've ever had! If you don't like onions stay away. It wasn't in any way over powering with onion flavor it was a perfect ratio. The Mac n cheese was good but to be honest it tasted a lot like velveta Mac n cheese. I honestly look forward to going again. Next time I'll be getting the Jalapeño Holly. Ever since hearing of this concept I have looked forward to trying it as chicken salad is one of my favorite dishes/sandwiches. I expected it to be pretty good since this is what they specialize in. Like many chains, you walk to the counter to order and they bring the food to you. I was met by a young lady that seemed to prefer to be elsewhere but took my order with several questions. There are several versions of chicken salad to order, I ordered the Cranberry Kelli with wheat bread which had cranberries and almonds. The sides were somewhat limited and I went with the pasta salad. The food was delivered fairly quickly. The chicken salad did not disappoint but the bread was probably the surprise and highlight, it was very good. The pasta salad was somewhat forgettable and you also get a small icing covered cookie with your order that was pretty good. I was a little surprised as I watched them busing tables, they picked up empty food cartons etc, but never wiped down a table and mine had lots of crumbs left behind to me. I had heard about this restaurant opening for several weeks in NWA before they opened. My wife works for a major poultry producer in the area and had told me about them over a year ago - and the wonderful reviews they have received from others. I finally was able to get tot the restaurant today with my business partner in tow. The possible choices for chicken salad was unreal! Sweet, spicy, regular, nutty... and being able to pair it with soup, salad or another scoop of chicken salad was great. You could pair it with either crackers or with celery (which my business partner chose since she's a gluten free eater). I had the Fancy Nancy and the Rockin Rita. I loved Fancy Nancy because of the nuts, grapes and Fuji apples. Rockin Rita was good okay but not something I'd write home about. I did steal a bite of the pimento cheese my partner had on her plate and it was absolutely some of the best I've ever eaten. I LOVE this place. I go every week and am slowly but surely working my way through the menu. I love the Sassy Scotty and both classic salads as well as all of the fruity ones. The grape salad is amazing too, with the cream cheese having more of a yogurt texture. The only two things I haven't liked are the Mac and cheese and the egg salad, but you can't go wrong with anything else. Went here on a whim while passing through Fayetteville and what a pleasant surprise! Had never heard of this place before until we had recently moved to Destin, Florida and the name had intrigued me. Having not had the chance to try it out back at home, thought we'd give it a chance while on a road trip in Arkansas: it was right off the interstate, not too busy and close to the gas station where we were filling up at. WOW! This place was great! They just don't serve your average "run of the mill" chicken salad...they have different types to choose from! Sweet types, nutty types, fruity ones, spicy ones, plain old types (typical chicken salad recipe)- But even their "typical " chicken salad recipe is 95% better than your average chicken salad you would get at your average restaurant in my opinion. Many places make their chicken salad "swim" in mayonnaise; not Chicken Salad Chick! All of their chicken salads seemed to have the right balance of chicken to mayo ratio which I think is so important because I think it is so gross when a "salad" sandwich gets soggy....it's just No Bueno!!! Another cool thing is that they will let you have any sample of any of their chicken salads so you can try them out before you order so there are no surprises! You can order any of the chicken salads as a sandwich (choice of different types of bread, baguette or croissant) or as a salad SALAD (i.e. on a bed of lettuce if you are watching your carbs) and each sandwich or salad comes with a pickle spear and a side which is either another scoop of chicken salad or a cup of soup or a side of fruit! It was a lot of food for good value. Loved how on the back of the menus and on the wall of the restaurant is the story how the founder (The Chicken Salad Chick herself) started the business making chicken salad for friends and family and people liked it so much they started ordering batches off of her for picnics and whatnot...but somehow the health department got wind that she was making chicken salad in her home kitchen and selling it to people which is apparently illegal in her home state but it was becoming so lucrative as a business her and her husband decided to open a business and the rest is history! I tried two chicken salads: Classic Carol (classic recipe): perfect ratio of mayo to chicken, celery, secret seasoning; overall very good. Had on a croissant. Fancy Nancy(chicken salad w/Fuji apples, seedless grapes, pecans): MY FAVORITE!! Excellent! Recommend on a croissant! Served both with a dill pickle spear which balanced out the Fancy Nancy especially nice! Hubby Had: Kickin' Kay Lynne (chicken salad w/buffalo sauce,ranch, bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, Sriracha, jalapeños). NOTE: My husband is British. One should likely assume that his affinity and fondness for chicken salad will not/would not be the same as a typical American's (especially someone who has lived in the South) and his comments included the terms "o.k." and "nice", which is his standard commentary when a meal is adequate and to his liking. He did say he would try another type of chicken salad though next time. He did order the Loaded Baked Potato Soup as his side and did say that was "quite good" and he "would get it again". This location was clean. Staff was exceptionally friendly; great customer service. Helped us to understand menu. Offered to give us samples. Overall, great experience! Would definitely eat here again if ever passing through Fayetteville again and WILL be visiting the location near our home based on our experience with this location.
