I took the screens in and received an estimate and approximate date of completion. Sounded good so I went ahead and made arrangements and paid a deposit. I was called when they were ready for pick up. Very pleased and highly recommend them. I was going to purchase extra for installation since one of the windows was on our second story, but was advised and felt confident afterwards on installing myself. Really appreciate the pep talk! Last year, Waldo's Glass was sub-contracted to do window repair work on my house by Smith and Ramirez Roofing of El Paso. The roofing project itself was problematic, but Waldo Glass just added to the aggravation that I experienced due to the following: 1) Constant re-scheduling of dates/showtimes; 2) Questionable rationales for not showing up to 'agreed on' date(s) (i.e. It's too windy today. I need a helper to hold the ladder). The excuse that a helper was needed to hold the ladder was a bogus one, since a helper did not show up to assist on the actual day of repairs and repair day was a one-man show; 3) Unnecessarily damaging the window frames while prying out the window screens. This was totally avoidable. Why was I just not told to remove the window screens of the windows that were to be repaired? Digging into the window frame to take out the window screens is what damaged the window frame. Make it make sense! 4) Failure to install the new window frames; 5) The new window screens 'Do Not All Fit'. It would have to be an extreme case of needing widow repairs before I would ever consider using Waldo's Glass in the future. read more

I scheduled an appointment with Waldo's Glass from 12-2pm about 4 days out. I had already received a rough estimate, and they were coming to verify the job. On the day of the appointment, I received a phone call at 855am from Waldo's verifying the time of the appointment. My family waited all day and around 3:30pm I called to verify the technician was still coming. I was told a technician came at 1130 and no one answered the door. I asked if they left a note or anything verifying they came. The office manager said no, they just rang the doorbell. Considering I had two people waiting and dogs that alert us to anyone at the door, I highly doubt they stopped by. I asked if you came outside of the appointment time, why didn't you call to let us know you would be early. I was told it was not the Waldo's policy to notify the customer of a time change unless they requested it. I said you gave me a two hour window for the appointment, I would assume you would come during the timeframe. I was told they could come back 4 days later. After some back and forth I was told by the office manager that there are several other glass professionals in town that do similar service. Now that my time has been wasted I will reach out to those other businesses for service. read more
