The head pharmacist Jennifer really knows her business about drug interactions. My nurse practitioner prescribed me Z-Pack after my flu since it appeared I was coming down with secondary bronchitis or something...well it's a deadly mix with a med I'm currently on...nice! I had a prescription transferred to them on Monday morning. It's Wednesday late afternoon and they still haven't filled it. You can't get through to them by phone. There is the initial automated hold then they picked up, didn't say anything and put me hold again. I was on hold for over 30 minutes. Finally the phone started ringing. I stayed listening to it ring and ring for over 5 minutes before I hung up. I was sick with COVID. Felt horrible but had to drive down there twice just to see if they received the transfer. First they told me that their system holds prescription transfers for several hours. Then when I couldn't get them by phone the next next they acknowledged that they had it "that it was in the pile" and they would text me when it was filled. I finally found the drug at another pharmacy so I had my Dr's ofc write a prescription to that pharmacy. I tried to call Walgreens to tell them they didn't need to fill it but again....never got through. I'm sympathetic to being understaffed but this is a HUGE management problem! Your problems should not be the customers problems. My suggestion - go to any pharmacy other than Walgreens!! Especially the one at Juan Tabo/Montgomery read more

Worst facility ever. They have multiple technicians tell you different things that are ALL INACCURATE. I call and am put on hold for 30+ mins and then hung up on. They have no problem answering other pharmacies but can't answer customers.. after days of attempting my Dr and another location had to do all of the work since they refused to answer the phone. Very poorly ran pharmacy. They don't answer the phone ever and keep their customers on hold. I had to travel all the way up there to find out they had no pharmacist on staff and they were closed. I've been missing out on medication for 2 weeks while it stated online they did not have it in stock. Finally I decided to transfer my medication to another location who answered immediately and had my medication in stock within 90 mins. Worst patient care, they don't even care. I think everyone is doing the best they can right now, and staffing shortages are hard to manage. But, the continued horrible experience with this pharmacy is a reflection of a company not paying their staff enough and respecting their employees and customers. Prescriptions are rarely ready on time, the line is often an hour long, the hold times are just as long with the line disconnecting. I'm sure this is hard for the employees as well. read more

Save yourself from a disappointing experience. I had an appointment for a COVID booster on 11/25 at 5:20 pm. I received the reminder attached. I arrived at 4:45 PM but the pharmacy was closed and the manager was too busy counting money to meet with me. The clerk took my name and phone number and said they would call first thing in the morning (11/26) but I never got a call. This is a very very poorly run walgreens - avoid at all cost. read more

First off, I get it, now more than ever good help seems hard to find. However, it's my opinion that the poor service from Walgreens isn't just due to that factor. Their customer service policies, pharmacy policies and general lack of care towards their customers greatly compounds the problem. I'm currently on hold with the pharmacy for over 28 mins waiting to give an employee 5 seconds of information just to get my prescription refill back into motion. I've had my call picked up by a pharmacy rep at least 5 times and someone has mumbled something about continuing to hold. In addition to those 5 "answered" times, someone has picked up the call and placed it on hold again at least 5 more times. They need a better system. Why aren't employees taking turns with the drive thru, in store line and callers? Because, they don't care about you at all. You are just a dollar sign that will be replaced if you take your business elsewhere. CVS is just as bad if not worse. So what is there to do. FYI...still on hold even though the call has be picked up many more times. Update: Up to 30+ mins on hold and I was disconnected. read more

Terrible experienceS... multiple. First time prescription getter, as I'm a young adult trying to navigate the ins and outs of insurance, medical bills, etc. each time I've called in the last two days , have been met with quite frankly overpaid children ... snide attitudes , unpleasant sass , and overall just giving a hard time .. I simply called asking what else I could do as I lost my medical insurance card & got a snide remark along the lines of "well your doctor isn't us, we can't JUST access everybody's information" "AND ITS NOT EVEN THE RIGHT CARD YOUR TALKING ABOUT" proceeds to talk to me like i have special needs "your doctorrrr is a medical practiceeeeee. We. Fill. Prescriptionsssss." Like uhm okay? Horrible customer service! Walked up to the pharmacy counter: one pharmacist had been helping another man who had been asking endless questions, another pharmacist on the phone. The first man turned to me and said that he would be asking the pharmacist more questions. After about 5 minutes, I walked out and left. just coming here to say do not schedule covid tests here because the time you choose legitimately does not matter. Arrived ten minutes early, was never seen, because they let some idiot stay in line for, and I wish I was joking, THIRTY MINUTES. There were six people behind me. Me and two others left because it was just so ridiculous. I totally understand being understaffed and having ridiculous customers but why the heck did they not ask the gentleman to park or come inside? It was literally a half hour. This is the worst pharmacy experience ever and it is true every time I come to get my prescription. Even after talking with them to make sure they had it right in the phone before coming to the pharmacy when I come to pick it up they have it wrong - this is a repeated occurrence! I waited 10 min in drive-thru for a pharmacy person to help me, and I is with pushing call button. The tech looked at me 4 times and finally asked if I had been helped. She was less than pleasant and when the transaction was completed and she thought I wasn't paying attention did an "oh snap" hand gesture. Totally unprofessional. read more

Recently feeling under the weather. Had to go back to walgreens to have two presciptions filled. Both times that I went I had interactions with a pharm tech named Bri. There was a substantial wait both times, this is to be expected and not what makes me give this store poor marks. The problem was the attitude in which I was addressed by Bri. Both times I was made to feel like it was my fault that she wasn't able to help in a timely manor. The second time I was there, my rx was "misplaced". No apology was offered, and again I was treated as if I was an inconvenience to her. There are a ton of places to go to fill a prescription in Albuquerque, I am totally willing to forgo convenience to not feel the way this woman makes me feel. She is rude and should not be interacting with people if she cant put her problems aside enough to at least crack a fake smile for 30 seconds at a time. read more

Do not go here if you look even remotely young. I got followed around the store and my backpack was searched. I didn't do anything. Plus, they kept calling and emailing my father about my medications long after I moved out and requested for them to stop. They also told him about one of my very personal medications while I was living with him even after I asked for them to mark that the medication should only be given to me personally and never mentioned to anyone else picking up my meds. This caused some serious issues for me. read more
