That was red flag #1...We do our shopping and get what we need and I make my way to the self checkout. Keep in mind the whole time we were shopping we still did not see ONE employee. I get to self checkout and I start ringing everything up. I purchased a bow and along with my other items and after I scanned the bow it seems as if the scale did not register it was placed so it froze my screen and said "help is on the way" I stood there for almost 10 minutes waiting patiently. It got to a point where a customer even tried helping me resolve my issue because her self checkout did the same but she somehow fixed hers. **STILL no employee to be seen.** So now I'm holding wrapping paper and I start walking around the store waving it around going -- "HELLO!?! Does anyone work here I've been real checkout for 10 min and the things constantly repeating help is on the way but nobody is here" and after around 2 min of my calling out for help.. NOBODY SHOWED UP. So I walk BACK to self check out and wait and then this woman slowly walks up to me, SAYS NOTHING, scans her little card and then WALKS away. I cannot imagine how many people steal from this place at night because I easily could have walked right out with my bags. She did not care at all and she was very rude and dismissive. The customer service here is disgusting. Whoever is working today 11/12/2021 clearly does not do their job properly and needs to be retrained on how to handle customers ALSO why is there only ONE person on shift ?

They do have a strict receipt-check policy when exiting, which is clearly in place to prevent theft and was handled professionally. She was helping someone else on the second. I chose to go to the third near the consultation window. However, she directs me to type my info in on the first by the wall. Okay so I walk over. There's somebody elses information on the screen and I let her know that politely. She rolls her eyes and finishes up with the other customer. She gets to my kiosk and then grabs my medication. I have said nothing up to this point quietly picking up my prescription. Seems like she was having a bad day. I have customer service experience too, but to toss my medication on the counter after I've done nothing to you is blatantly disrespectful. And she printed out my receipt and barely handed it to me. However, today I went to the counter to pick up a prescription and I was rudely interrupted by the manager "Nicole" who asked me if I spoke English. I was kind of shocked by this question since I had spoken to the other pharmacist in English and she was within Earshot. She then made a face in disgust and stated "this is birth control" -- as if I didn't know what I was picking up ? She then proceeded to explain why I shouldn't be on the medication and asked if my doctors knew if I would be on it (where else would I have gotten the prescription?) I explained I had taken it under it's non-generic title for 5 years with no issue. She rolled her eyes then walked away. The fact that she expected us to not be able to speak English because we look racially ambiguous (mixed race) is racist and disgusting. They protect toothpaste but keep the gift cards in the middle of the store unlocked, exposed. We sent the gift card to my daughter in Florida. When she tried to use it the balance was $0. She called Vanilla the company. They said it was used at Best Buy. It is impossible. It was in transit in the day we allegedly used the card and it was never opened until it made it to Fl. Vanilla would not help us. CVS would not help us. Our FI reversed the charges and then took the money back out because CVS fought the complaint. I will never purchase another item from CVS as long as I live. Another manager was working the store when I complained and she the store is a disaster. This is a well known problem. They are aware and did nothing. Stay away.
