I tried going to vanco one day for an over-the-counter medicine and I had gone in for it on the regular and the pharmacist took note and said he had ordered more so he could make sure that he had it in stock for me. This place is a local business that should be supported! You know that all your pharmacy options when it comes to large corporations are never going to give you the same hands-on experience. It truly is run by some of the nicest people in commack. I have officially switched all my prescriptions over. :)

The courteous gentleman on the phone made sure that the medication was dropped off at my door the same day! I'm a long time Babylon resident and used this pharmacy for years and never had any issues. In fact, just like this time, they always go above and beyond what would be considered good service. Nathan, the pharmacist is aware of everything and always acknowledges customers. I was floored that he knew my name! There is never a wait and I get a text when my prescription is ready. The entire staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The delivery man even helped me out when my car got stuck on ice. And they deliver! No more CVS with long lines and crazy ringing phones

Today pharmacist/co-owner Nathan answered the questions that I posed of a medical device that I use and of a few nutritional supplements that I contemplated buying from him. He was a pleasure to talk to. The store associate was helpful, too, asking me if there was anything she could help me with. What I especially like about this pharmacy is that it is open on Sundays although only for four hours. Costco Pharmacy, where I usually get my medications filled, is not open that day. The only negative about New Island Pharmacy is that it is quite small, and parking is tight.
