I went in here to ask if they had zip ties. i asked a middle ages white guy with sleeves on his arm and short grey hair like "hey you know where i can find zip ties". he blatantly ignored me, i thought he might have headphones on or something. I got up next to him and asked again, he took a second, looked me dead in the eye and was extremely extremely rude saying "no we don't have em. never have. been here eight years" i stated online it said they had them. he said " no not at all" in a very aggressive tone. i don't know what this guys problem was but he should not be around customers read more

This is one of the closest locations to me so I have frequented this Walgreens more. I have come here multiple times for passport photos and also shipping needs. Rosemary is a fantastic employee that runs that entire store. She rings up people at the register, does passport photos and keeps the lines moving. I went during the COVID pandemic so everyone was on edge yet she still maintains her composure and customer service outlook. I just want to give Rosemary a shout out for her excellent service. I have had one shipping incident here where my package that I dropped off for UPS was not picked up for a few days yet it was resolved after I filed a claim. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Walgreens pharmacy since 2000, and it has declined rapidly this past year. I am given different answers from different employees regarding my refills with no regard to the fact that my medicine has been withheld from me for two months now. My doctor has gotten involved and due to Walgreens ignorance and unavailability, now it is a new year and things have become an insurance issue. There is no compassion from the pharmacy employees and nothing is consistent with their answers they have provided me. The past employees were excellent. They knew their customers names, were personable and respected their customers. I miss Maria. She had respect and compassion for others. Whether this is an employee issue or a business issue Walgreens needs to step it up and correct all these mistakes immediately. The texts sent stating medication is ready are completely inaccurate, the employees have no compassion and are not trained to handle situations as they should be. To have my doctor agree and be disenchanted with the Walgreens service given to me speaks volumes. This has been a horrible experience. I will state that the photo lab and regular checkout personnel are excellent. I would never refer anyone to the Walgreens in Stonecreek Cary for prescription needs at this point in time. read more

Not sure what has happened to this management but the pharmacy has been excellent and now declining in being reliable. Pharmacist are overworked and management does nothing to help. Mistakes with medicines and disappearing prescriptions from personal webpages in not acceptable and down right dangerous for many. Manager fix your problems I use to love coming to that Walgreens but sadly will be leaving it permanently. read more

Have been filling my prescriptions here for many months now. GoodRx showed me $10 for my prescription and an older code that was already applied last time showed $22. The pharmacist told me that the coupon I had for $10 was not correct (which I understood), but they removed the old code and charged me $32 instead of using the old code. Also, very irritating that they have to go to the head pharmacist to accept a coupon as if its that persons whim and fancy what's allowed and what's not. They buy these generic medicines for a dollar or two from places like India. Losing a customer for $10 must make perfect sense to these greedy institutions. read more

The pharmacy is terrible! I refill my meds and give them a few days to get it together and make sure it goes through insurance. Everytime i go to get it they never have it. This last time they gave me the wrong meds and having seizures i cant miss a day of my meds. read more

They lost a prescription we dropped off the day before. Then they found it while we waited but it had just collected dust, so we had to return again later while they filled it. Time = money, thus this visit = fail. Another time, a clerk found me in the aisle and gave me a coupon for the conditioner I was buying. That was very cool of her, going above and beyond her duties. So I'm neutral about this location at this time. It does have a handy location! read more

I like Walgreens and the staff here is friendly. They have Blue Bell Ice Cream which is hard to find. If you have their shopping card you can get some pretty good deals. read more

This Walgreens, like most I've been in, deserves at least three stars for the overall shopping experience; as drug store shopping goes, it's always been a respectable experience. I'd have almost been willing to go to four stars but for the fact that getting a script filled here is NEVER a pleasant experience these days. NEVER. When it first opened, it was briefly friendly and efficient; since Eckerd across the street had just been bought out by Rite-Aid (I miss you, Eckerd) and started going downhill, Walgreen's was THE drug store. Something happened, though, and a couple of years ago, the pharmacy became a mess- poor service, messed-up orders, long lines, bad communication, etc. I tried making constructive and polite comments about it to both store management and corporate customer service, but I'd always get the same line- "we're sorry, and we'll make things better." And then of course- things didn't get better. In fact, for most of last year, things got worse. They got so bad that I moved all of my family's Rx over to Rite-Aid, which surprisingly gave me very good customer service on them! Now, Walgreens has bought out Rite-Aid, and I assume that means they'll close the Apex one to try to force everyone to return to the sucky pharmacy at Walgreens. Fortunately, Apex now has fair competition among pharmacies, with Target and some grocery stores providing decent service. I have been known still to browse Walgreens for this or that OTC drug store thingy and buy some chocolate while I'm there, but when Rite Aid dies, I refuse to go back to Walgreens pharmacy- I just don't trust them any more. I went in and described my very clear flu symptoms to the staff to see if they had any recommendations. The first woman I saw was very snippy with me asking what I was doing there. I told her I had a question for the pharmacist . She then acted like this was the biggest burden to her and not worth her time to go get her. When I did speak to the pharmacist she said the only thing she could really think to suggest to me was Tylenol. Afterwards I left and went to the CVS. They gave me very clear recommendations and were very knowledgeable. I'm not very familiar with the walgreens pharmacy but I won't be in a rush to go back to this one. read more

I just walked out of here so frustrated & annoyed w/ pharmacy staff! After waiting about 15 mins, I was notified by pharmacy staff that my ins. card wasn't active & was asked to contact my insurance. Ok no prob....BUT SHE KNEW I HAD LARYNGITIS.. AKA I LOSS MY VOICE! So I get on the phone w/ my ins in a whisper & explained & they said we will call your pharmacy, you shouldn't be talking, the pharmacist should have contacted us... we will handle it! It could have easily been rectified as it was a simple update to my card that I had not received & my ins. did all the footwork.The pharmacist had all my info. & could have easily fixed. So Thumbs up BC/BS and thumbs down Walgreen's pharmacy for employing such an individual. To add insult to injury when my Ins did call and the pharmacist was aware of this ..she puts them on hold for two minutes! And I was the only one at the counter & the drive threw window had two customers. But wait this pharmacist also had an assistant that had to help her complete my transaction & the 2 window customers. I have never been to such an inefficient Walgreen's pharmacy in my life..I recently moved to NC from Brooklyn,NY & the Walgreen's there would have 20 people all with issues at the pharmaceutical counter, but all would be taken care of more efficiently w/ an even greater ratio of customers to employees! read more
