OTC Network card users. Check your receipts and card balances. Walgreens said my husband's card did not work so I ran mine only to be told it didn't work either. I ended up paying out of pocket. I checked our balances when I got home and there were messages that a problem had occurred due to Walgreens new software update showing our cards had gone thru. Duplicate charges on both cards for exact same items I paid for out of pocket. I spent 2 weeks on the phone with OTC and Walgreens and one trip to store without resolve. Now I have an investigation case opened by Kaiser. Meanwhile, I'm not using my cards so not to change balances for proof. read more

She is rude, not at all helpful, and has no empathy. When I had to speak to an actual person in the Pharmacy- a tech assistant by the name of "Jason" was extremely rude, condescending and actually interrupted me each time I attempted to answer the questions he asked of me. After our interaction, I asked to speak with a supervisor. He advised me he was THE supervisor. I advised him I would be contacting corporate and to have a blessed week. I could not even finish that sentence without him hanging up on me. When I did call back and spoke to someone who claimed to be the store manager "Michael" he listened intently. However, I feel there will be zero resolve. I truly believe this is their quality of customer service at this store now. I can handle myself... Plan to wait in line at minimum an hour. Medication is never ready, pharmacy workers are rude. It's always something with them not knowing how to process medication when I've had my medication processed several times. The whole pharmacy department needs a revamp asap. read more

I just left the Walgreens and won't be back. First time there and had trouble finding baby Vicks vapor rub. It wasn't in the baby section so I went to the pharmacy and found the regular adult Vicks. After looking all over I gave up and pressed the pager for help. After patiently waiting a tall African American clerk came. He copped an attitude and pointed it's right there with a nasty tone (behind me at the very bottom). I was very respectful and made sure to say please and thank you. Drive Thru pharmacy here is not customer friendly at all. I waiting in line for about 30 minutes, which I understand it was a busy evening especially in the southwest part of town. The pharmacist couldn't find my prescription and told me to call my doctor's office. I did and it was sent. The pharmacist had to look MULTIPLE times until she could find it. She told me that it will be about 10 minutes but I would need to drive around and get back in line. I did NOT want to drive back around to the drive thru to wait another 30 minutes. I had my prescription sent here after being diagnosed with Covid, the meds were Zithromax and Dexamethasone on 1/3/21 they informed me the Dexamethasone was on order and should be there on Monday which was 1/4/21. I came back on this date and the lady told me it still on order, I asked her if she can see if any other Walgreens has it she said I can call around because they don't do that, I was frustrated so I said does it say when they will get it in, she said by Weds. Today is Saturday 1/9/21 and they still have not got this in. I called Walmart Pharmacy and asked if they have this, they said it's in stock and can have it ready for me within the hour. I was coming in for a covid test, there was no other customers in the drive through, I was there a few minutes before my appointment and ended up waiting for about 40 minutes! My veterinarian must have noticed the glazed look that came over my eyes when she started explaining that I needed to give my dog 1/2 of this pill and 1/4 of that pill twice a day. She recommended I try Walgreens to pick up a pill cutter for my dog's medication, and this location was the closest to my veterinarians office. I found it pretty quickly on the back wall, and then had a little wander through the store on my way back up to the checkout counter. They not only have a pharmacy, but carry quite a selection of over the counter medications, too. There is an entire aisle full of greeting cards and wrapping supplies, as well as aisles of candy and snacks, too. There is a large beauty supply section with many brands of cosmetics, and even an aisle for office supplies. You can even buy some rather nice looking sweatshirts and scarves. What caught my eye was the big bin full of DVDs marked $3.99 and up. I found two I felt I couldn't live without for $3.99 and $5.99. With one more stop in the candy aisle for some chewy red hots I was back on my merry way. There's a Rabobank ATM near the door for those who need to pick up a little spending cash and even a drive through pharmacy for those who find it more convenient NOT to have to get out of te car to pick up their pain meds. Today's a new day and I called to see what's going on with my prescription and the machine said it did not have my prescription so I wanted to speak with the pharmacist I was with no attitude. I was not mad or anything like that. and as soon as this, Jason pharmacist answered the phone he answered rudely he said how can I help you in an attitude already and I said hi good morning I wanted to see what's going on with my prescription because.........and then right away, he cut me off without letting me finish my story and said who is the patient and I did not hear him at first I said what and he said who is the patient with a major attitude and I told him my name and then he said there's nothing in here and in a attitude again and I was still be nice and I told him OK well, I do have the prescription number and he right away he said what's the prescription number and attitude and I gave it to him and then he said it will be ready in one hour and a attitude and I told him OK thank you vvery much and have a nice day and he did not even say nothing like you're welcome. Have a good day or anything. He just straight out hanged up on me. So I let it be but something told me he should not be acting like that in my mind so I'm like you know what I'm going to call and talk to him and tell him can you please be nice next time or don't be rude like that because nobody should get treated that way, especially if you're being nice And I was lucky enough for him to answer, I told him..you spoke to me not long ago about the prescription. I just wanted to tell you can you be a little bit more nice because I told you have a good day and and you just straight out hang up on me and his response was wow....... He said.... I ALREADY TOLD YOU your medicine is going to be ready in 30 minutes!!!!. What else do you want?!! and he was screaming at me in an attitude and I straight out got so surprised I told him wow see what I mean like this you have attitude you should not be like that and he kept saying well what else do you want and I did not want to waste my time talking to him because he had attitude and there is no way to get through him so I straight up said do you have a manager and he said yes and I told him well. Let me talk to the manager and he said an attitude well I'm a pharmacist but yes, you can talk to the manager and as soon as he passed the phone to the manager, you can tell he was arguing about me talking about me out loud saying I told her if it will be ready in 30 minutes. What is her problem... and he was not getting the picture. My problem was not about the medicine. My problem was about his attitude just cause he is a pharmacist doesn't mean he has the right to be rude to people like that especially if you're being nice cause I am always nice and especially that I work in a medical field if a person is like that being sour all day they should not work with no people at all, they should stay home people do not deserve to get attitude like that. Imagine an old person being super nice to him and he is being that rude to people that let themselves so I told my story to the manager and she seemed like she did not care she just said well thank you for addressing this to me. and that's all she said. Terrible service. As someone who works in customer service, I completely understand being busy and low on staffing during these rough times, but it doesn't give an excuse to lack communication and be rude. Unfortunately didn't catch the name, but one of the women who works in the pharmacy was terrible. My mother and I came to pick up a prescription which was not even supposed to get sent to this location to begin with, and was told it was ready yesterday 10/16. Came in today 10/17 and the woman says it's not ready... we told her yes it is, we got a phone call and text confirming so. She gets defensive and says "well I'm not the person you talked to, I don't know you told you that." She had to triple check the system to then find out it was indeed ready. She then walks away from the register and leaves us waiting for 10 min with no communication of what she's doing. Then another woman asked us if we needed help and she helped us instead. The first woman just ended up walking out of the pharmacy and leaving... again no communication and rude service. It's not hard to say "give me one second", but apparently it is for that woman. It's a drugstore! So I'm thinking get in and get out without being hassled, right? I like friendly customer service but SOME THINGS being pointed out by employees can be embarrassing, just saying ;) While I was shopping today I noticed a employee (possibly store manager) losing his temper at a female trying to return something.. Idk... how hard is it to say yes we can or no it can't be done??? I went to a different cashier and mentioned to her that he was losing his cool (he was very loud!!) and she in a not so surprised attitude yea he always does that. Idk about you but I'm not numb to rude service! I had my own run in with this same man last year when I brought my daughter in. he's in no way a people person and perhaps sales is not for him! Next time I'll try to get his name. Hopefully he'll be nice. Side note although they will fix anything the photos I've had done have been dark and fuzzy more times then not. Came here yesterday and purchased an expired cadbury fruit and nut chocolate bar which was on sale for 3/4.99. Not until today when i tried eating 1, taste was different, it's dry. Empty store. Friendly staff. Expensive stuff. In town for the holidays and i transferred three prescriptions to this location. It took about 6 hours for them to be filled. Granted, my pharmacy wasn't very responsive. When I did receive the prescriptions the staff were friendly , quick, and professional. On my way out I noticed most of the things around the store were more expensive than the Winco/Walmart down the street. If you're in a rush and you need to fill a prescription, this is a decent pharmacy. If you need to pick up other things, head to Walmart, which is located in the same parking lot. read more

I like that Walgreens has drive thrus, that makes it easier with a car full of kids. I frequent this Walgreens a couple times a month. They are friendly and I have never had any issues with filling my meds. Only downside is that you have to wait sometimes so be prepared that there may be a long line in the drive thru. read more

When I think of Walgreens, it is a store I only visit when someone is sick because I really do not come to one for other reasons. I recently had to take take a trip here since my wife was not feeling well. This Walgreens is always very well kept and the products are always easy to find. I was contemplating on which medicine to purchase so I took several of them to the Consult counter to speak with the pharmacist. One thing that stood out is that the worker at the counter was servicing another customer and the pharmacist was filling a prescription but neither acknowledged I was standing there. Although I understand both are busy, I think the courtesy should be offered that they will be with me shortly. Maybe it is just me, I think it is professional when businesses do it, others may feel different. The pharmacist answered my questions and I was ready to go on my merry way. I went to pay for the medicine but there is one cashier and about 7-8 people already in line, but no support is called to bring down the line. I don't know if they were under staffed, but this is not a good practice, especially when you start to hear people complain how long they've been in line already. I will say the cashier had great composure and when greeting the next customer, she apologized on the wait and ensured she will get them on their way. All in all a good staff and the store itself is clean and neat, but like I said, I only visit when someone is sick and is in need of some over the counter medicine. I will say that I always hear from others that during the holiday season, Walgreens has some great sales on toys for kids. read more

The pharmacist, Jason was literally awesome and extremely helpful. My fiancé and I came in regarding our 1 year old son who doesn't have pink eyes but his eyes were filled with mucus but no red eyes at all and this is the second time this has occurred. Long story short we told him that we were from Texas and that our on-call physician stated that they couldn't send a prescription from Texas to California. Jason informed us that since we had a previous prescription that our physician should be able to just refill the drops that he had before. With great patience he waited with us to receive a call back for our physician to refill the drops. In the end his positive attitude helped us keep a positive attitude.
