So, I came back for additional vaccines. This particular Walgreens seems to be short staffed in the pharmacy. But, they're always trying to meet every body's needs. They are always helpful, polite and professional to everybody coming to the pharmacy. Sometimes I watch (while I'm waiting) and am impressed by their level of patience. I must say that this staff seems new (or should I say, I haven't seen them before). So, I came in and scanned to QR code to check myself in. That' s a game changer. Once I checked in (I was standing in line for awhile before I saw the sign to check in) the pharmacist recognized me and went about preparing my vaccines. I had an appointment for 1510 and was out of there by 1545. That's not to bad. These days nobody has patience (myself included) and there are times when patience is key. read more

Opposite experiences on a couple of trips recently- it was like when rain falls on my shoulders but sun rises in the east. 1- line forming around the FedEx area while 3 employees were searching for a missing package - no employees anywhere near a cash register- you know helping people buy stuff. It was weird as heck. 2 - next visit- place was empty. Like the cashier was bored. In and out in 2 minutes. Hopefully more customers arrived - without them the lack of people would abet the cashier's loneliness. Aren't too many drug stores left in this area - hopefully this Walgreens keeps it together read more

The first time at this location, a guy came in and filled his bag up with several items and a 12 pack of soda leaving out of the front door saying I know Walgreens policy, okay cool...... Two weeks ago I stopped at this location to grab a birthday card . Upon entering the store it was filthy inside . I picked my card and a few more items and as I was walking to the counter the security guard stated this isn't my job and I don't want to show you this , I was confused . A lady was screaming as she ran out of the store and I realized the security had a mouse trap in his hand with the mouse in it and there was a dead mouse in the aisle. I was visiting Baltimore and came to get some photos taken. Showed up a hour after opening time and the store is closed. Also the photo center is permanently closed indefinitely. There's no workers! The manager was a nice lady tho, I hope they give her recognition! read more

Do not use this pharmacy at any cost. I work in a doctors office and they are the least helpful on the planet. No pick up for over 20 minutes anytime you call, even though they have an option for a doctors office. Pharmacist is rude. Cannot ever get patient issues cleared efficiently. read more

Honestly I would give no stars if I could. Store looks nice from the outside , threadbare chairs at the pharmacy: one working drive up window but no signage for the other until you are right up on it. Carts make so much noise because most of them are broken, the floor is stained. Security guard hangs out with their friends in the front. Beads and trash strewn about the store. As I was driving to this location I wanted to be sure that my prescription had been filled. So I called. On hold for 15 mins then someone picked up and hung up. Then called again and on hold for another 15 then dial tone. I tell the guy about the phone thing when I come in and he shrugs saying they are down two techs. I see one girl leaning against a counter talking and a manager giving someone a tour. Lots of free hands to pick up a phone once in a fifteen minute window. I come in and they don't even have my script yet from the doctor, cannot estimate the wait time but they signed me up for text alerts. Except they didn't. I get a random email 5 hours later, that Idk to look for, because they said text alerts! I hate this place. Will never come here again. read more

Avoid the pharmacy here if it all possible. Someone I knew went here for a COVID shot on a Monday night and ended up having to wait about an hour past their appointment time. I came for a shot a few days later and the wait wasn't as bad as in the middle of the day but for something I had to make an appointment for it still wasn't impressive. One thing I saw that made me extremely mad was that there was an elderly woman in line in front of me picking up some prescriptions. She asked if she could also get her COVID booster and the staff just dismissively told her no, she had to make an appointment first. This was someone who was extremely old and very mobility impaired. Getting to the pharmacy at all was clearly a significant challenge for her. There was zero thought or initiative to help her out though, just a dismissive "come back with an appointment". I was appalled. I will say that the actual pharmacist I dealt with was courteous, professional and fast. The other staff was mostly very slow and unfriendly though and the ones who were trying were swamped with more work than they could handle. read more

Can you give negative stars? I came for a Covid test. I did everything they said "go online book a time" did that! For 1pm. Got in line early. Finally got to the window at 1:12. The lady said sorry come back at 245? What? Why? You missed your appointment and we go on lunch (all 6 of them) at 130. Keep in mind it's 115 at this time. So then after getting the rude pharmacist he said there's nothing I can do. I could of taken the test by then and been gone!!! So he said be back at 2 and walked away. The other lady Cindy said 245 So when I tried to get their attention to clear up the time confusion they just walked by. I literally had to call them on my cell from the window. When did treating people with respect specially sick people become too much to ask for? Just so you can take a lunch break 20 minutes early? When everyone shouldn't be leaving at the same time? I'll call her out by name this time; Aliyah was extremely rude, slow & liked to roll her eyes while she helped me get my medication. My experience with her was the reason I switched to Safeway pharmacy. My new pharmacy was out of stock of one of my prescriptions & so I just went to the closest pharmacy that had it in stock (should've known better). Yesterday I called to ask if they had my specific medication in stock & they assured me MULTIPLE times that they had it in stock. I gave them the info to get the script transferred & they said to call back at 4:30 to check if they got it. I called at 5pm (they close at 6) & NOBODY answered A SINGLE phone call. Not the pharmacy, not customer service, NOTHING. I called corporate because I was pissed. Corporates response was "I can't seem to find a reason they're not answering calls. If you leave your name & number I'll have the pharmacist reach out to you about your medication." LIKE ARE YOU SERIOUS LOL someone needs to figure out wtf goes on inside this store lol read more

This place is awful. Staff is rude, doesn't listen to customers and doesn't care about customer service. The pharmacy manager is incredibly rude and doesn't take responsibility for his or his staff's behaviors or errors. They gave me the wrong prescription one time and didn't notify me. I now need to make two trips to pickup medications, which were all supposed to filled on the same day, due to their error. The pharmacist/ pharmacy manager refused to admit that he erred and couldn't be bothered to apologize. I've yet to find a way to notify there corporate office about Ming and his staff read more

Whoever is the manager needs to fire the three girls closing tonight 5/25/2022. Their attitudes sucked. Screaming through the aisles "FIVE MINUTES" at 10:45...but the store closed at 11pm. So why lie? And why try to intimidate your customers like that? I've stopped counting how many times the pharmacy is a mess. Just waited 40 minutes for the staff to take a break to come back with 6 people working. Couldn't one person help out (2 pharmacists were here)? Then come back to find out the regular services are closed. I gave feedback from them to add a sign but the guy basically walked away from me while I was speaking. Worst service of all Walgreens ever. So sad. I was a brand follower and supporter. Do not go here if you care about human rights and if you believe a person should be treated fairly, regardless of race, sex, creed, or color. So I'm riding my bicycle and have a bookbag containing my work vest and other valuable items. When I enter this store, the cashier (who even happened to be black) gives me a scared stare as if she were making this gesture to appease the old, white man she was serving. I proceeded to act normal and nicely asked her 'where I could find some ear plugs?' she replied, "uhhh! They're all along the wall as you can see." a customer commented behind the shelf "I think he's looking for noise reducing ones, am I right?" so the cashier says just go to the back area and find them-- a vague and unhelpful answer. As I start heading that way, she asked me to leave my bag full of personal belonging in the front as to not steal anything. I was frustrated with my experience and left. I went to Ride Aide and had a completely different and pleasant experience any black, white, hispanic, or asian is suppose to get. Never again will I shop at that Walgreens and I ask that you boycott them also until Walgreens corporate office change their ethics and training of EMPLOYEES that are supposed to at least treat CUSTOMERS with dignity. read more

**Beware*** If i could give this a 0 i would. The Pharmacy Manager Mein located on Haven & Eastern Ave refused to fill my minor son's Rx out of retaliation of reporting him to a manager 2 months ago. When i asked him to transfer the Rx to another walgreens or give it back to me and i will go somewhere else he refused. He said you remember, you called a manager on me. I told him because you was acting unprofessional. After i demanded my Rx back and told him i was going to report him he said ok. I waited a total of 45 mins and he would not give it to me. His response was "whats that the problem in me waiting.... u can wait." he kept saying i called a manager on him last time so i can wait. He never gave it to me. I video recorded him and told him this is unethical and he's very unprofessional. I let him know that out of spite he could be doing anything including giving me the wrong medication and that's scary and he took a oath. He keep hunching his shoulders saying he didnt care... This is CRAZY... I had to call my son PCP and send his Rx to Giant out of Fear this man will purposefully give me or my son the wrong medication. I reported him to corporate and waiting on them to follow up with me. He should not service the public, this is dangerous behavior especially from someone in the Health Community, He could caused harm or death to someone. The first time I came here, I called first to make certain the item I needed was in stock. The worker I spoke to warned me of the neighborhood and when I got to the store, another worker joked about it being the most-shoplifted Walgreens. Being new to Baltimore, this all made me leery. Recently, I came in to do a bit of shopping because it was convenient. The area didn't seem THAT bad! I heard the cashier at the register greeting most everyone who entered the store. This place had all the items I was looking for. It was tidy, I didn't encounter any sketchy characters inside the store nor in the parking lot. I overheard a pharmacy tech helping a customer and it sounded professional. When I finally checked out, the long line at the register moved quickly and the cashier was friendly and professional. Can't ask for much more, I had no negative issues. read more

I went to try to fill my medication here and the pharmacist lied to my face and told me they were out even though I had just called 5 minutes prior to ask. Stopped in to fill a prescription. 1 of the 3 pharmacists took my prescription, ID, and ran around the corner to (I assume) check the availability of the medication. She came back and informed me that it would be about a 30 min wait. I didn't mind waiting. 30 mins goes by. 40 mins goes by. Finally, the waiting area clears out and I'm the only customer left in the pharmacy section. Another pharmacist asked me my name and medication. There was no pending order for my prescription AND upon checking, the new pharmacist informed me that the meds weren't even in stock. The pharmacist that initially took my 'script was moments from then end of her shift (I saw her walk out after our interaction.) I get the feeling that she chalked it up as "someone else's problem." 40 minutes waiting... no apology. Walgreens Eastern Ave. did me dirty. Never again. read more

I have lived in 5 states and numerous cities within those states, and this Walgreens pharmacy is the worst that I have ever been to! Prescriptions are never ready on time and even if your prescription is ready, expect to still wait in line 20 minutes for it! High rate of turnover and half the staff have an attitude problem and are unwilling to help you. read more

Tiffany at the pharmacy was just as nice and helpful as she could be! She put the coupons we brought in and told us the one we could save the most. Helped us get part of a prescription due to cost. She was wonderful. Since we started going to Walgreens we have very happy with everyone that works there. We have two other pharmacies closer but will stick with Walgreens, it's worth the short drive! read more

This Walgreens is nice, clean, and usually stocked up. It's a good place to stop for personal products or even holiday items. Prices on some things are cheaper than grocery stores and Walmart. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because they usually only have one register open, even if there is a line of customers. Also because you have to deal with the junkies nodding off outside, or people dressed fancier than you asking for change or cigarettes. read more
