I had done business at this Walgreens (including the pharmacy) for almost 20 years. In the past year, the service has gone from great, to average, to now, TERRIBLE! Just moved all my perscriptions to a Safeway pharmacy! Their poor service includes misinformation via text & email (told perscriptions ready, after a 30 minute wait at the pharmacy, told not ready). To hour long waits to get to the pharmacy counter - and then dealing with employees who don't know & don't care. I get that times are tough for good help, but you need to have at least one or two employees who give a s%$#. Stay away! read more

Walgreens has Flu shots advertised for online booking, scheduled for a specific time, printed the paperwork and showed up at the reserved time. Person at the counter said flu shot worker is on lunch and that they don't actually see the online reservations and it's pretty much walk-in only. What a shit show for Walgreens scheduling, online system and employee training. Never trusting their online booking or in-store services again. The employee handed me paperwork that I already filled out. Wasted my time and frustrating. read more

dont waste your time trying to get prescriptions filled here. i guess theyve had law suits against them which means they get to play god and turn people away who need their pain medications while they are waiting for surgery. first excuse i was given was because i have allergies listed that are in the same family of meds even though it doesnt show in my history that im allergic to this specific medication and they can see in the system that its been prescribed to me before. second excuse was because of how my other prescriptions have been filled because while taking one specific medication, i stop taking the other i take on a daily basis due to how it can affect a persons breathing and heart rate if i were to take both at the same time. both of my medical issues have been issues, one for a decade and one for 25 yrs. i work closely with my doctors and specialists. they are the only ones who determine what medications i use and dont use, not a pharmacist with a god complex. read more

If I could give a zero rating that is what they deserve. I waited for 30 minutes today to pick up my prescription then get home only to realize that the pharmacist gave me half of the prescription. I called to found out how to get the rest of the medication and "Victor" told me that I was wrong and could transfer my prescription to another pharmacy. My wait time was about 1.5 hours. Victor told me the current wait time was 3 hours. He is very rude, and unprofessional. Belittling and sarcastic maybe he should find a job not working with the public. When we got there the parking lot was empty and when we went in the store was empty. They had about 8 personal behind the counter. They are rude and incompetent and do not care less. Not that anyone cares (their reviews are bad enough before mine), but they are the worst. I went there straight from urgent care, where I was written a prescription for antibiotics (I had a contagious upper respiratory infection). I was told that, for them to fill it quicker (still over an hour estimated) I'd have to come in and hang out at the pharmacy (contagious, potentially exposing people). So I went in despite feeling like death warmed over, but needed to use the restroom. The store manager told me, a pregnant lady, to walk somewhere else cause I couldn't use their restroom (I might steal something, after all). Outrageous. I just gave up and left. And it took HOURS to get my antibiotics. read more

There is no better way to say this: I hate this Walgreens with a firey passion, but it's where my pharmacy is, and it's the closest to my house. They are constantly understaffed, and the people that do work there like to tell you how much they hate their job or how many hours they have worked that day. At the pharmacy you can expect to wait about 20 minutes in line or in the drive through line to pick up your things, and that's WITH express refill (not so express actually). I don;t know what else to say, this place is a necessary evil, but I avoid it at all costs. read more

When I was a smoker, I went there daily (sometimes more) because they had very competitive prices on cigs. Now, I don't know, perhaps they still do. I used to buy other miscellaneous items when I was there - not because the price was great on those items, but because I was already there. Might as well. Now that I don't have to go there to buy smokes - well, I don't go there. Nothing else they have seems to be enough to make me endure the rip in the fabric of time & space that happens when I go inside. I am not sure what kind of business strategy it is, but this store conducts business SLOWLY. The weird part is I used to love them. Maybe I only loved their cigarette prices. Waited 2 hours to pick up rx in drive through....have tried to pick up 4 times...each time the line is ridiculous...I am moving my rx

Recently moved my prescriptions from Costco (which I loved) just for the fact that this one is open 24/7. So far, it's great. Very high-tech backend e.g. text & email notifications, auto refills, drive-up service, scan & submit refills, a family option so that one can manage meds for all family members, and retention of payment method for faster service aka "Express Pay". Additionally, if I find myself away from home and need a refill, I can place the order and pick it up at the local Walgreen's. Some Yelpers have complained about service. I can tell you service for me has so far been exemplary - professional, knowledgeable, and patient. Four stars due to the drive-through pick-up area - it is confined, has no cover, and can be difficult to navigate in a truck and/or when it's busy. A relatively small complaint. I could just as easily rated them five stars. That said I highly recommend Walgreen's Pharmacy. read more

This is the worst Pharmacy I have ever been to. I got my wisdom teeth removed, went straight to get my prescriptions. After waiting in the driver thru for 30 minutes, they told me I needed to come inside. I had to wait over 45 minutes, when I asked how much longer I would have to wait I was given an attitude and told to sit back down. With gauze and blood spilling out of my mouth. I use this pharmacy only due to its location being convenient for me. The phone wait times are impossibly long and I'm constantly frustrated with how long I have to wait to pick up my medication. Today I was in the drive thru line and had to ring the bell a second time because they had forgotten about me and were serving customers I had been sitting and watching walk in from outside. Always have what I need and though I do not shop here much, their brand items are on sale more so getting a rewards card is useful. From a pharmacy, photo lab and even groceries a convenient place to get shopping for items done. Their gift card rack seems more diverse than other stores. The staff member who checked out my items was very kind and even called for back up, for another counter to be opened as soon as there were two other people behind me (I was the first in line). Efficient and fast service with convenience in location too. The only downfall is that parking can be tough or be slow as the drive thru pharmacy can get crowded and block the way of entry amd exiting. read more

Was told I couldn't use my insurance even though I have current insurance and waiting for new card with current name. I've talked to my insurance and they said it's fine to still use. Had to pay despite having Humana and United Healthcare. The pharmacist on duty was rude unprofessional muttering under his breath and was very rude when getting the attention of a patient that was hard of hearing. When I got my prescriptions at the consult he told me I can read the directions on the medication and sent me on my way. Didn't ask if I had any questions nothing. He was very rude and acted like I was an inconvenience to him. Not coming back here again. So disappointed. read more

Expect a long wait in the pharmacy line. Pharmacy is always understaffed. Staff has not been trained how to work in-store lines and drive-through lines together. It's not unusual for prescriptions to be lost or delayed without explanation. Staff isn't trained on moving lines when upset customer holds it up. Lucy in the pharmacy had absolutely NO interest in being helpful or kind. After 30 minutes in drive through I had to go inside for assistance. I had to call my insurance and Lucy refused to speak with them. My insurance had to call the pharmacy to get help. Once the RX was finally filled, it was $140, so I took a couple minutes to debate what to do. When I came back (never leaving pharmacy sight) I was told they needed to process it again! After 15 minutes with a crying toddler I said forget it. Over an hour and I walked out empty handed. Nothin but frustration and irritation from Walgreens today. read more

I have been a customer here for years. Never much of a fan but the service or lack of service at this pharmacy has reached point where they just don't care about customers. The drive through and the inside counter yesterday were serviced by one employee who would rotate from drive through window to inside counter. The outside drive up window had 6 cars in line that were blocking the roadway. My wife went inside and stood in line for 20 mins and there were still 5 people waiting when her hip gave out and she had to leave. Last week I had a RX for 15 meds. Pharmacy notified me that they were out. Actually they had 40-50 but they didn't take the time to read the quantity. Walgreens corporate assistance phone number is a complete waste of your time. Long on hold times and then without talking to someone that can help they disconnect you from the call. Called store and asked to talk go pharmacy manager. On hold for a very long time and manager never answered the call. I could go on and on. This is no way to run a business. read more

Always have to wait in line for at least an hour to get through to the pharmacy. They always mess up my order and then tell me it's my fault then they angrily correct it. To apply coupons they can never figure it out. Pharmacy tech told me once I should learn how to do it so I can instruct their employees on how to input it into their system. Totally unacceptable. They made me wait over an hour for a pick up order that never came through that they then canceled and manually changed the price in store for me. I appreciate them honoring the price but having to wait until 12:26 am when I came in at 11pm for heart burn medicine that was 7.99 online and 16.99 in store was exhausting and kept me up when I needed to be sleeping and needed heartburn medicine. I wish they would have just honored the price right away and not made me lose so much sleep. read more

I know that the drive thru pick up line can get long and move slowly but when they are helping you, they genuinely make sure your prescription questions are answered and help when you have issues so I don't mind that the line is slow if that means they are helping other people in front of me :) Plus, I am warm and dry in my car! read more

I needed a prescription for my dog. They filled it. I asked about the delivery service & was told there was none, it was Fed Ex. I needed same day. That was the AM. That PM I was told there was in fact a delivery service, but too late. Next day, I found my own pick up & delivery. Walgreens refused to allow me to either 1) pay for my dog's $11.00 RX with a credit card over the phone, or 2). Use my card on file that they use for my RX's for my dog's RX. They could have easily verified via the vet clinic this was indeed my dog. I was not feeling at all well, had been nursing a sick animal, & wanted to avoid driving. Walgreens showed an attitude of uncaring & disregard for the well-being of my sick animal & myself, while focused on a minutiae of rules that made no sense in the greater picture. I get a number of RX filled at Walgreens every month. Their attitude is inexcusable. They tried to tell me Door Dash could do what I needed. There is nothing on the Door Dash app that indicates so. If I could give zero stars I would. I dropped a prescription off that they told me on the phone they had. Only to find out almost 3 hours later they never had in stock. They didn't even have the courtesy to call like anyone in their right mind would and let it sit there all that time till most pharmacies were almost closed. I asked why they didn't call me and the pharmacist blamed me because I said tablet instead of capsule she claimed. This is my sons first time on the meds and had no idea there was a difference. However when they looked at the paper and saw they didn't have it they should have called me and told me. They proceed to call one down the road and tell me they have the meds but won't fill them because they close soon. Even though it was Walgreens fault i was dropping off so late! Horrible service. I have been in the area for 5 years now and had many occasions that I have needed help to get an emergent prescription for my family, this Walgreens has always been there for us. I may of had to wait a few times, but always had professional staff members and even some truly painless flu shots. Today I had an eye infection, saw the PA in store, walked over for my prescription and was out of the office all set in 25 minutes. You truly can't beat it. read more

If you are expecting to use the pharmacy at this Walgreens, be prepared to wait 30-40 min in line. The service is slow. There is never not a line wrapped around the parking lot. I've tried going in to the store thinking it would be faster, nope. The line was backed up in the store too. Either they need to hire more people or figure out something else. It's ridiculous.
