I've used Walgreens for years in 3 different states and always had excellent customer service. I worked with the Walgreens Pharmacy on Highway 20 in Bend for weeks trying to get 2 prescriptions filled. They kept telling me that my insurance wouldn't cover them even though I'd called Medicare who confirmed that they were covered. Medicare even did a 3 way call with Walgreens and me to confirm that the medications were covered. I went back to the store every day for weeks and was told that their system didn't recognize that they were covered. Medicare told them it was a Walgreens issue and that they needed to call their help desk. I was told that they were on the phone for "hours" trying to get through to their help desk. I suggested that that was an internal problem and asked to speak to the General Manager. I was told that he would be given my number and would call me. I declined their offer because I'd been promised phone calls along the way that didn't happen. My point of contact was the manager whose first name is Alena (not sure of spelling). She was very pleasant each time we spoke but failed to update her staff as to what was going on. If she wasn't there (which was often the case), no one was able to help me because there were no notes in the system. I finally had my prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy in town and had them in a matter of days. I understand this particular manager also works at the other store in Bend so I don't plan to use either one. read more

WORST PHARMACY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I drove a hour and half to get my RX and took off work to go pick it up. I got there right before they closed for lunch waited 20min got up to the window and she said we are closed for lunch! She argued with me and by the time she got done arguing with me I could have been on my way. Mind you my RX was already paid for, they messed this RX 2xs, this was my third time coming to pick it up and she refused to hand it to me! Their lunch was more important than me having to drive 3 hours round trip, 3xs for 1 RX and take off work 3xs for this!! Unbelievable and I still don't have it! read more

2nd time in a row they've completely fubarred by blood pressure meds. The last time they dropped the ball for 17 days, this time it's 8 days and counting. I've been on hold for over 30 minutes. Are you trying to kill me Walgreens? Jebus! Worthless is the kindest understatement I can make about this "pharmacy?" This latency is getting dangerous. Everytime I order my Rx days in advance through the app it is never ready when I go pick it up physically from the location. The app shows the Rx is filled however that is not accurate. To be granted the employees are short staffed so it isn't their fault however it ISN'T mine either. Today the person who assisted me said that my Rx is still not ready, come back in 20-30 mins and then he just walked away. Ummm ok??? Customer service was meh but they are probably over worked and under paid. Walgreens pay your hard working employees more. Whoever is doing the voicemail message regarding PHARMACY hours should update the message. They are NOT only taking lunches from 1:30pm-2pm Saturdays and Sundays; this applies during Mondays-Fridays currently as well. This is important to the CUSTOMERS! So please WALGREENS update your voicemail and work on updating status on your app as well so that EVERYONE is on the same page- your customers more importantly. Some rely on the app because no one is available to answer the calls. Thanks but no thanks- from a frustrated mom of a toddler who had to make 3 trips for a prescription because no one was answering the phone despite how long I stayed on hold for. This is the worst pharmacy in terms of both customer service and speed. The technician is regularly rude and short at both the drive through window and in the store. I have stood in line with at least 7 others for over 45 minutes, and when the individual behind me kindly asked how much longer the wait would be, the technician literally scoffed and rolled his eyes at her. In another instance when I was filling an urgent medication, the pharmacy inexplicably closed for the day at 2 pm with zero communication. It's truly an awful experience every single time I visit, and every visit requires an hour at minimum. If using the drive through, be prepared for the snotty kid at the window to complain about your Prius "being too loud". read more

They are the absolute worst. Over the last few weeks I've had nothing but nasty interactions with rude pharmacists over the phone and in person. Today I sat on hold for a hour and 42 minutes. 1 hour and 42 minutes is beyond enough time for them to pick up the phone and answer one phone call. I hate using them for pharmacy needs because I've never had good encounters with them, but I needed a prescription today and unfortunately did not get it because I couldn't even get through to someone. Not to mention while I was on the phone trying to get a hold of someone, I had a family member inside trying to possibly pick it for that same period of time. A few weeks ago I also called asking about a prescription I was told they carried and have picked up from them in the past. I have to have a name brand of that prescription because I have a bad reaction to the generic. He basically called me stupid on the phone "because they are the exact same thing and I can take both." Even though in my notes it says I can not take the generic brand. Well guess what, I had a bad reaction to the generic one.. of course. So besides getting called stupid by pharmacists, them having crappy attitudes and them being rude to you this place is great.. because you can't ever get through to talk to anyone the other 90% of the time. read more

Was told by my Physician that I needed a certain vaccine. I called this Pharmacy to make sure they have it in stock so I could get it. I was told "NO, they don't have any right now" I asked when were the expecting some, and they said "Call back on Monday after 8:30 and they will know at that time" Call back MONDAY? Is this really any way to run a business? In my business, if I tell my customer to call back another day to see if I have what they are looking for, guess what? They will take their business elsewhere! Where is good customer service anymore with these pharmacies? Maybe the correct response should have been, "Thank you for calling Mr.------------, we are out of stock on that particular item, but if we could have your telephone number, WE will call YOU when it comes in. read more

The worst pharmacy in Bend. Don't expect your prescription to be ready once your doctor calls it in. Not ONCE has my prescription been ready for pickup at this place. You wait in line forever only to be told it's not ready....come back in 20 minutes. Get your s*** together. People have better things to do then to wait around an extra 20-40 minutes for a prescription that should have been filled to begin with. This place is a JOKE!!! read more

I love this pharmacy. They text me when it is time to refill my prescription and then they text me when it is ready. They have a drive through window so I don't even have to get out of my vehicle (if I don't want to ). The staff is always friendly and helpful. read more

Used the drive up window after a sinus surgery. Horrific nightmare. Not one once of customer service. After an hour of waiting in the parking lot, my driver took me to RiteAid. Save your time and sanity, avoid Walgreens at all cost if your have a RX. read more

My son had oral surgery. The dr suggested I use Walgreens to fill his script bc of the drive up window, as they did not want me to leave him home alone. Waited 45 min for them to fill, only to be told they couldn't find my ins. Checked twice. Went to RiteAid, no problem. Due to their incompetence my Son had to wait 3 hours for his pain meds. Great cosmetic and general grocery selection, but if you ever need to fill&pick up a prescription in a hurry, don't do it through Walgreens. They take forever to fill, and you must wait for a pharmacist to tell you what's already on the label. Would recommend going to Rite Aid on Third street instead. read more

These people are SO nice. From the welcome at the door to the friendliness at the register to the kind expertise at the pharmacy, this place is the very definition of neighborhood community pharmacy. Worst pharmacy in Bend. Prescriptions are NEVER ready - even when you call ahead. Always a different story provided. They don't seem to know what they are doing and can benefit from training from their sister store on Franklin. The two pharmacies are night and day! I definitely do not recommend this pharmacy. They do not value your time and are extremely inefficient. read more

Terrible Pharmacy experience here. I gave them many chances but I am giving up. I've had multiple issues with them saying I don't have any refills, the vet calls and tries to add refills and they tell her that I already have refills left. This took many phone calls to resolve. I then requested a refill on the automated system and it said it would be ready Thursday at 11:00. I went on Friday to pick it up and it wasn't ready. They told me they only had 20 pills and had to order more. So I had to go back the next week and they only gave me 70. I told them the vet called in 180 pills at a time and they told me I have to talk directly to the pharmacist NEXT TIME to get that (they wouldn't give me the extra 90 when I was right there in person). Today I call the pharmacist to make sure I get 180 pills for my refill and she tells me I don't have any refills and that they haven't received anything from my vet since April. OMG my vet just went back and forth trying to get me refills in August! And to top it off the pharmacist was very rude and didn't care. read more

ill tell you what keeps happening to me. they lie and say they are going to call the cops on you. just for asking for your perscriptions. I asked for my insulin, syringes, 4 other meds, test strips. they say they do not have insulin or syringes. that they are changing my perscription of test strips from 8 to 5 . i tell them to fill what perscription says to fill. not what they want to fill. they say then that i wont get then until 17th of december. they go away 10 minutes. people are piling up and leaving the drive thru window all this time. finally they get manaGER WHO REFUSES TO TURN HIS BADGE OVER so we can tell who he is but has daniel written on the back. says i am married with children. i say im not here for anything but perscriptions. give them here . he says going to call cops cause im a sissy. i say i dont care if your a sissy. i say go ahead we will be happy to talk with the police department. he finally gives up 4 of the seven perscriptions. i told him before i left id be talking to the corporate office. this whole ordeal took probobly 25 to 30 minutes. no stars for these nuts. this happend in bend oregon at the east bend store at highway 20 and 27th street. terrible service and could cause complications to get worse or death now i do not have insulin. will be getting lawyer. how do these people get away with this???? read more
