Pharmacy staff always seems to have an attitude and act like they are doing you the biggest favor by doing their job.

The pharmacist was incredibly rude and dismissive. He had no interest in helping me figure out how to get the prescription sorted out.

The store is your standard Twice Daily location offering up all the things you are after plus a few others. The classic self serve coffee, drink and hot snacks stations are available, plus a good variety of snacks and drinks, and for those who enjoy a good beer, they have the ole beer cooler too. Since being converted to a Twice Daily, the store is in good shape conditionally and for the most part, is kept clean. The restrooms and the gas pump areas are hit and miss cleanliness wise. Service is also hit and miss. I have stopped in early morning, and mid-evening, and had completely different experiences. One with friendly and welcoming service, the other with borderline rude, but definitely not-interested service. Overall, when in the area and the need arises for a quick top off, a snack, coffee or drink, this Twice Daily is a decent option.

Every time I come in to pick up my prescription, the interaction feels uncomfortable and unwelcoming. She is consistently short with her responses and comes across as dismissive, like she doesn't want to speak with me at all. What's especially concerning is that I've noticed a clear difference in how she interacts with other customers compared to me. With others, she appears more patient and willing to engage, but with me (a woman of color), the tone and attitude feel noticeably different. It's disappointing because picking up a prescription should be a straightforward and respectful experience. Instead, I leave feeling frustrated and uneasy. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the level of professionalism and consistency in customer service. Otherwise Laura is always nice and patient with me. She always greets me with hello, good afternoon and has a smile on her face. She will always asks if I have any questions about the medication no matter what.

Why go out of my way to use a pharmacy inside a store (target) I rarely shop? That's easy--trust. What makes this location special are the people. One person in particular, Shelby, the pharmacy manager. She leads a team that is head and shoulders above the other pharmacies, including other CVS branches and competitors. Here are my top seven reasons to make this location, your location: What Makes This Pharmacy Stand Out: From the first interaction with Shelby, I felt like the only person she was there to help. Her focus is unparalleled; she treats each customer with individual attention and care. Efficiency and Expertise: Shelby is incredibly efficient when it comes to researching and securing the lowest price for prescriptions. She efficiently researches to ensure that her guests/customers are not only getting the right medication but also the best deal. Customer Service: In the rare event of a Dr's prescription error (this happened to me recently as my Dr's office called in the wrong strength), Shelby's response was immediate and reassuring. She prioritizes our needs, stopping what she's doing to correct any issue with a level of care that feels deeply personal. Warmth and Intelligence: Shelby isn't just efficient; she's also warm, kind, and brilliantly intelligent. Her knowledge of pharmaceuticals is impressive, but it's her ability to convey that knowledge with empathy that really makes a difference. Trust and Reliability: I've come to trust Shelby with my medication needs. Her dedication to customer care combined with her professional expertise has made this CVS my go-to pharmacy. Personal Touch: Beyond her professional capabilities, Shelby's personality is a delightful. She's described as beautiful not just in appearance but in her demeanor and approach to customer service. Conclusion: If you're in Brentwood or the surrounding areas, I highly recommend making a stop at this CVS Pharmacy on Old Hickory Boulevard solely for the chance to experience Shelby's exceptional service. She's the reason this location stands out as a beacon of what customer service in pharmacy should be. Her presence alone elevates the entire pharmacy experience. I feel valued, heard, and well taken care of.

This Kroger is the rich uncle of Nashville area Kroger stores, and I am here for it! From the moment you pull in, the grey painted brick tells you this location is next level, then when you enter you are immediately greeted by the large lit "BRENTWOOD" sign atop the fruits/veggies wall. The store has clearly gotten updated in the past few years, but it doesn't seem like the whole thing was done. The inner aisles and registers look to be in line with other stores, however the outer aisles, specialty counters, fruits/veggies, pharmacy and the exterior all appear to be outfitted with the latest flooring and signage. In addition to the updates, the store is quite expansive. I definitely felt like this location has lots more variety of your standard items than other nearby Krogers. Service was friendly. I didn't encounter anyone on the floor from a service perspective, but did notice several employees stocking and straightening things up. The cashier was friendly and efficient. Overall, this is, hands down, my favorite Kroger in the Nashville metro area! The fresh and semi-upscale look combined with the large layout, nice Starbucks, copious amounts of small double-level carts and overall solid vibes make this location a stellar spot for all your grocery needs!

I came in for an urgent prescription, and he immediately said it wasn't available and the nearest location was in Hermitage--over an hour away. When I returned to tell him, he didn't apologize or offer assistance, saying I'd have to call Hermitage to transfer it myself. I ended up spending over an hour handling something that should have been simple. This was unhelpful and dismissive. I hope CVS addresses this, because customers deserve staff willing to actually assist rather than blindly follow the screen.

So if you're going in for something over-the-counter, a late night snack, or something along those lines, then I would recommend it! For example, I received a phone call informing me that my prescription was ready, but when I went to the pharmacy, I was told that they didn't have any in stock. The next day, I received another phone call telling me the same thing, but when I went to pick it up, their order hadn't yet arrived. It took me three different trips (out of my way) to finally pick up that prescription. Everyone's really nice, but it can be quite a hassle to get something filled there.
