I love to shop at this location but recently I haven't had a pleasant visit. I've had a lil Indian looking lady. Not trying to be nude just don't know her name. Well every time I come in contact with she is rude and dismissive. I believe it's because I use coupons 99.9% of the time but why should that be a reason to be rude. After dropping off at 12 for a refill, I was told my medication would be ready at 1:30, which seems a bit long for a refill. I showed up at 1:20 with one person in front of me in line. It took 12 minutes before I was even helped. Then, when I was finally helped, it took 10 minutes for the pharmacist to even find my medication. 22 minutes is way too long to take to pick up medication. Avoid this location if you can. read more

Lines are way too long! If you want to wait about 1/2 to 40 minutes on a line this is the place to go. I usually take a book or read a magazine while I wait on horrendously long lines. read more

The staff at this location is really great. The Customer service here can be alittle hectic at busy times but the staff gives ya a laugh and a smile each time. Card machines at the cash register are sometimes down or the system does work for some register so have cash on you just to make sure. Good choices of food, all stocked properly and the floor usually mopped. Good place 50/50 with the long lines but still not bad. read more

Always open. Conveniently located. What more do you need. Lines can get a bit long as they do tend to be understaffed at night.

Horrible customer service, I ordered photos online to be printed out and the order email said they would be ready by 9:45pm that same day, yet they were ready until 11:00 am the next morning. The lady at the counter was very grumpy and rude, she ignored by for 5 minutes until I said something and then she said wait I'm busy and kept doing something in the back. Clear signs of someone who hates their job and should not be in the business of customer service. read more

They have decent sales sometimes and that is fine. I get my cholesterol medicine there and it is convenient because they are always open. Past that, not much to talk about. The shelves are often not well stocked. The cashiers tend to be polite but SLOW and the lines are ridiculously long during the evening rush. What really pisses you off is that when you stop in on your way in from work all of those folks who really look like they did not work that day choose 5 pm to come in with their bratty kids or the seniors that are lonely and need to talk for five minutes with the cashier...they obviously look like they could have come in at, say 2 pm instead of right in the middle of the evening rush. Overall, not a nice place to shop and you'd better not be in a rush when you go in. read more

was at store today and attempted to buy a regular hot wheels car. car usually will costs between 1.00-1.169 at the most. this walgreen store is selling them for 5.99. when i got to the casg register i said this has to be a mistake when they charged me 5.99 for a regular hot wheels car-not premium or special car. i said that is insane to charge 5.99 for a regular hot wheels car that you can get from the supermarkets, target and walmart for 99 cents. he stated he knew and they have priced the items at 5.99. i left the item at the cash register and thanked the employee. this is unacceptable. i can understand a little mark up but 5.99 is insane and should not be tolerated. read more

Lines are always long. If you drop off your prescription at the pharmacy don't expect it to be ready anytime soon. On the positive side, if you have their rewards card you might get nice discounts on some products. read more

This is the only place I trust for my prescription medicine. But I must say, the drop off window is extremely slow. It feels like only one person's working back there... But there are some times where the wait isn't that long. But more often than not, prepare to WAIT! The pharmacy is open 24hrs which make traffic times vary depending on what time of the day you go. And their new mobile prescription refill service seems pretty cool... Saves time and money in some cases to put in a refill request and pick up when ready. :) read more

This review is for the pharmacy, and I have nothing but praise. It is the only pharmacy within miles that would get my mother a little-prescribed and difficult to come-by antibiotic. They had to get it by ordering through an out-of-state supplier and they got it in less than a day. The pharmacist, Kassandra, took personal responsibility and insured that this was ordered and delivered as she promised... in fact she beat her own estimate by several hours. You don't find professionals with a commitment to service like this too often, and very rarely in a national chain. read more

Ok came to this store for the photo section I was waiting for at least 15 minutes. Two managers asked did I need help and called on their intercom unit for someone to come to photo. You would think as managers they would just step in and help the customer. Also the store was not crowed at 9:30pm. To make matters worse I put my order in on the computer for a 6pm pick up. You guessed it they were not ready. So I had to wait another 16 minutes for my photos. This was just bad customer service. I try to support your business but for this it makes me wonder if should ever deal with them again. So a word to the wise if you order photos online you should pick them up the next day instead of the time the computer gives you!!!! I trying support my neighborhood business but it makes me want to go shop with the ones downtown where the customer service staff is much better. Sorry to say this but it's the truth. This is the worst Walgreens I have ever been in. I have been a customer of the Walgreen Pharmacy system for years and this location is horrible. There is no sense of customer service in the pharmacy area. They will allow customers to pile up on line and there are three persons behind the counter. Okay the pharmacist is filling prescriptions, but one is handling the customers with no smile or service standards, and the third is putting filled prescriptions in the bins. HELLO, there are seven customers standing here waiting, you can put the prescriptions away when the line is not so long!!!! SMH, I'm about to find a new pharmacy. It is right next to the 1 train so I come here often. I would usually buy some beauty supplies like nail polish and sometimes I'd get other things like cards, gift cards, gifts, and candy. The store carries things from medicine to food and beauty/hair products. The store is also clean and its very big and roomy however the lines are so long that sometimes you could wait for 20 minutes or more. I remember when there were around 18 people in line for one cashier and we didn't know where the other cashier went. Then someone had a problem with their credit card or coupons and it dragged on and on. Also , remember you have your wellness card or else the things here are quite expensive. read more

This store lacks everything. Understaffed. Staff appears to be 'bored-tired-unhappy. Never a smile/eye contact/welcome to customers. The pharmacy?? I had been getting "all my medications" at the store in 5564 Broadway for more than 10 years, but just got "fed up" with the nonsense of the pharmacy staff. Last month went there with a prescription for back pain. Can you believe that after I gave the prescription, and was asked to seat and wait. After 45, yes 45 minutes the agent came and told me "sorry, we don't have that medicine"!!!! Pure lack of respect and consideration. The staff are all very young and 'mock' us elderly. I am 73 and need no 'nonsense' in my life. That same day, I CHANGED ALL MY MONTHLY PRESCRIPTIONS TO A MOM-POP SMALL PHARMACY, where one can get some human and respectful treatment. The arrogant and self-conceited attitude does not bring customers and/or business. The only decent person in pharmacy I believe her name is Judith, a puertorican lady. She is a lady.
