I was looking for Dramamine with natural ginger (non-drowsy). I had looked at a nearby supermarket and a pharmacy, but didn't find them at either place. I looked here and they had it, and with a $2 instant coupon, so I got it at a great price! I went to the front cash register, and no employee was there. This was at about 2 pm yesterday, and I thought it odd that no employee was near the door greeting incoming customers and ringing up customers who were making purchases. After about 3 minutes of waiting, and employee finally came to the front, but that's because he saw another customer walking towards the check out line. He then saw me and had a confused look on his face, as if to say - Oh, were you waiting? He rang it up, and it came up as regular price. I told him that there was an instant coupon. He said, "Oh, then enter your phone number for the Walgreens discount." I entered my phone number and he rang it up again, saying, "No, it's still regular price." I told him there was an instant coupon on it, so he looked through his coupon book. Obviously, he didn't find it, so he asked how much the discount was, and I told him $2. He manually entered the $2 discount. The instant coupon should've automatically been applied by the system when the employee rang me up. *sigh* Finding parking in the free lot is always easy. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL Pharmacy technicians AND PHARMACIST were TERRIBLY RUDE. Rushed me after waiting on them for 15 minutes at the drive up window just to attend to me. When they finally came to the window, they said they had no idea what my RX would cost and wasn't willing to look at the price despite me providing my insurance card. Before i left , leaving my my rx there with them, i verified with TWO different pharmacy techs to make sure they had both the generic form of my medication and the brand name, as my decision for one over the other depended on the cost of each. When they called me saying they did have the brand name and it was within my budget, I said ok great I want the brand name filled, they said oh oops, actually, we don't have it in stock. LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK GET IT TOGETHER WALGREENS. Worst pharmacy ever highly suggest going somewhere else that can actually help you and get your medication filled. read more

If you want an on-time appointment for a flu shot/Shingles Shot/COVID shot you best look elsewhere. Appointments are just suggestions in their world... you'll likely arrive a few minutes early, they'll ask you to fill out the same damn forms you filled out online, and then 30 minutes AFTER your appointment time you'll still be waiting... they are in no hurry around here. read more

This a review of the Piedmont Health Clinic. Came in strictly to get tested for the Flu since I had early cold symptoms and my wife is pregnant. Thankfully not the Flu. It was a simple and quick visit. They billed my insurance $313 for this visit!! Insurance said "no way! we're only paying $140"; leaving me with a $173 bill to pay. Called to complain and the lady told me next time to say I don't have insurance and pay the $75 regular cost. Would never use them again. They should have been upfront with me about the costs. read more

Three words: Super Fast Pharmacy. Actual wait time is almost always noticeably less than quoted, even with personalized attention for any questions, concerns, etc you may have. Which they are happy to provide. You can also put a credit card on Express Pay, so you can charge any meds and not have to present a new card each time - and Walgreens has a reliable, current-for-you record of all prescriptions, from store to store and in any state. These important things make me very happy. My go-to Walgreens when back home in Atlanta. read more

Very slow service. Long wait times to talk to a pharmacist. I was in the drive thru window for over 25 minutes to pick my prescriptions.

My husband and I have spent over three hours today attempting to get through to a pharmacist after they claimed our insurance information was a problem. After the first call, they promised it was resolved. Immediately after, a text claimed again that there was an insurance issue. We attempted to call back immediately and have made dozens of calls totaling 3 hours that place you on hold and then disconnect you. I finally called the Sandy Springs Walgreens location. The pharmacist there picked up immediately and resolved all the issues. I've used Walgreens for years and have never seen a site this dysfunctional. I've had problems there before but just thought it was a one-off. Based on other reviews here, it's probably their typical customer service. read more

Totally agree with Darin G. This is NOT the place to get your flu/covid shots. I had an appointment and was on time, however 3 people came in late, 15-30 minutes late and the pharmacy took them first. I left after an hour. What a waste of time.... read more

OMG there is a person in the pharmacy who is rude and condescending. She talked over me cut me off and came off as just indifferent. I have been loyal to Walgreens for longer than I can remember but this location is destroying all the good will created by the many other branches I have done business with in the various places we've lived! The pharmacy team needs to remember who the customer is and that we have many many choices so a little politeness and a can-do attitude will go a long way!! read more

These guys always screw up my prescriptions. They somehow can not make sure they do not give me Gluten in my meds. I have asked over 20 times, but they fail to check until I arrive, which takes 30 min to overnight. The pharmacy does not have a list or internet access and if they can't call the manufacturer, one has to trust online lists. Safety Third. Moving our prescriptions. read more

Walgreens Rocks. Everytime I need a prescription filled there is some drama. I missed the refill by one day or they only have half of the script just something. They go out of their way to do whatever it tkes to satisfy me. Not like I am high maintenance or anything they just hire great people and it shows. Highly reccomended location. If they switch to 24hrs they will get that last star to be perfect. Who said we dont need a 24 hr Walgreens in Brookhaven? read more

The Healthcare Clinic care is outstanding. Arrived 15 minutes until closing time in a just-ran-out-of-a-prescription-and-can't-get-it-rewritten-until-after-the-holidays-and-I-need-it-by-tomorrow-morning panic, and the staff made time to see me. Incredible bedside manner - cheery and peppy, without a hint of being tired of seeing flu patients all day long. Never felt like the RN was trying to rush me out; she was super pleasant and lifted my mood immensely while expediting every step of the process. Left with not just one month, but two months' worth of Rx's so I could have time to make an appointment with my doctor. Didn't even have to get the prescription filled at Walgreens! She sent it to my regular pharmacy, no problem. Such a positive experience - highly recommend this alternative for a quick med solution! read more

As a young woman with a terminal illness that causes severe pain, I am often treated as an outcast or an addict when I pick up prescriptions at the pharmacy. Today, however, was a new low. "Megan D.," the MANAGER of the Walgreens pharmacy on Johnson Ferry/Ashford Dunwoody corner was so unbelievably rude that I am still having trouble processing our interaction, 30 minutes later. I dropped off my prescriptions yesterday afternoon, and shortly thereafter, a Walgreen's employee politely called me. She said the prescriptions would be filled this morning. I asked what time they opened, she told me 8:00, I explained that I need to be at work very close to that time, and she told me they would be ready at 8:00. At 8:00, I walked into the store and waited at the pharmacy counter for several minutes. Finally, "Megan D." sauntered over and informed me that my prescription price had gone from $35 to $400+. I told her I still needed it filled, since it's not something I can suddenly stop taking. She proceeded to explain that I needed to pay full price, yada, yada, all while I am saying, "I get it. I need the prescription, and I have to go. I'll deal with insurance later. I was promised these would be ready at 8." HERE'S the kicker! This MANAGER raised her voice and snidely replied, "These weren't promised to you at 8! I was right there when she called you. She said 8:30." At this point, it's already after 8:10, and this lady has not even started filling my prescription. I asked for the manager, and she called him and whispered into the phone. STILL not filling the prescription. She was SO RUDE, sloppy, and unprofessional in attitude and appearance. The manager did not seem to even understand my complaint. He mumbled some sort of pleasantries as I walked away. My doctor actually complained about this same pharmacist (can you imagine how rude someone would have to be for an Emory chief of surgery to remember this person weeks after he called in a prescription?)! It's a trend in the industry to treat patients as though they are "less than." I will never return to this pharmacy, and I am going to begin looking for a family run business that actually cares for customers. Or, better yet, wait for the day that robots dispense medications, as pharmacy seems to involve nothing but having a bad attitude, the ability to be a cashier, and maybe counting pills. Fun ironic fact: this particular pharmacist's "personal statement" on the store site reads, "Patient Philosophy: As a Walgreens pharmacist, I want my patients to look at me as more than the person that fills their prescriptions. Ask me questions, and involve me in your healthcare needs. I am here to help." Pathetic. I would rank her with a zero, if possible. Everyone else in the store was lovely. read more
