    2 hours on hold and no one ever picked up the phone.

    Taking two days to release antibiotics and pain medication to someone who just had complications from surgery is insane. To add insult to injury, even though I put contact information for my son to pick up my medicine, they gave him such a hard time and try to bill him even though I had already paid for everything online. They had access to the pickup order number and my name and dob to look research. Took 20 minutes for them to let him out of there with the medicine. Definitely changing my pharmacy after 20 years of using them. Talking to them over the phone they acted like they didn't know their own jobs. They just need to do better and be more compassionate towards their customers. I am nowhere near a Karen, but in a circumstance where you're in pain from surgery and you have to wait two days to start your pain meds, and antibiotics anyone will get upset. This caused a setback in my healing. It's no wonder the community rates them 1 star.

    This rating is not for the location or staff on 95th and 3rd. It is for the ludicrous online vs. store pricing policy that Walgreens and numerous other retailers feel at liberty to put into practice. So I visited my neighborhood Walgreens and looked at Weekly ad and it advertised the Walgreens Advanced Knee Support ( see pics) for $9.99 but shelf price states $19.99. I proceed to checkout and I show the employee the screen shot of weekly ad price and ask him to confirm it. He firsts looks at my photo then screen shot and states " maybe it's a different product". I then state they both look the same. He then scans it and states " its $19.99". I ask why? He then calls a lead sales supervisor who then states that the weekly ad explains that online and store prices vary. Why? He shrugs and states " they want more people to shop online". Ok folks, maybe that worked at the height of the pandemic due to all of us admonished by CDC and government officials asking us not to shop indoors and capacity was limited. But COVID or no COVID, this sounds like unfair pricing to me and maybe a letter to the BBB is now the next step. It sounds like Walgreens is punishing consumers who actually patronize their stores and are charged higher prices than those shopping online!!! The question is why?? Less overhead, expenses online? In the end, all it's going to do is force me to shop elsewhere. Oh btw, the add lists knee support as out of stock. So not only is your pricing way off but looks like your inventory is as well.

This has happened multiple times, not once or twice. Each time I've tried calling back, the same thing happens. When I do manage to get through or show up in person, the staff are dismissive and rude -- not in a "having a bad day" way, but consistently, across multiple visits and interactions. Basic questions are met with impatience, and there's no sense that they view patients as people who actually need their medication. The other pattern I've experienced repeatedly: I receive a notification that my prescription is ready for pickup, I make the trip, and I'm told to come back in 30 minutes, a few hours, or sometimes not until next week. No explanation, no apology. If the prescription isn't ready, don't send the notification. It's that simple. The combination of unreachable phones, inaccurate ready notifications, and dismissive staff makes this location genuinely unreliable for anything time-sensitive. I've since filed a complaint with Walgreens corporate and would encourage others with similar experiences to do the same (1-800-925-4733). If you have a routine prescription that requires zero coordination, maybe. If you ever need to actually speak to someone or rely on accurate information, look elsewhere.

Everything useful is locked up which means you have to press one of the buttons (which aren't in every aisle) or go on a search for an employee who's not at a cash register. However, Brooklyn Fare proved to be clutch and absolutely essential during the pandemic, and I now will always have a soft spot for it. While so many stores were struggling to keep basic items on the shelves, Brooklyn Fare was abundantly stocked during the worst point for the country. Fresh meat, herbs, and veggies, dried/canned goods, beeeeeeeeeer - they had it all. The floor-to-ceiling inventory they keep on hand for many items probably helped, but I was truly grateful for this store. Times are fortunately (mostly) back to normal now, but I still go to Brooklyn Fare for the essentials. It's not perfect by any means (make sure to check expiration dates), but they have just about everything you need and then some. I am grateful for it.

Last night I got to the checkout, and then the site kept asking me for the order number. ??? That ended the order going through. Mohammed tried to help by doing it verbally over the phone but there were too many items to deal with. It had been a go-to-shop for me since it opened, but after an accident I can't easily go in-person and now apparently I can't shop there at all or find anyone who is responsible/helpful for the site's customer functionality.
