They were so bad I moved my prescriptions elsewhere. Even then they took a long time to release the prescriptions to the new pharmacy. Taking two days to release antibiotics and pain medication to someone who just had complications from surgery is insane. To add insult to injury, even though I put contact information for my son to pick up my medicine, they gave him such a hard time and try to bill him even though I had already paid for everything online. They had access to the pickup order number and my name and dob to look research. Took 20 minutes for them to let him out of there with the medicine. Definitely changing my pharmacy after 20 years of using them. Talking to them over the phone they acted like they didn't know their own jobs. They just need to do better and be more compassionate towards their customers. I am nowhere near a Karen, but in a circumstance where you're in pain from surgery and you have to wait two days to start your pain meds, and antibiotics anyone will get upset. This caused a setback in my healing. It's no wonder the community rates them 1 star. read more

HORRIBLE! Every single time I place an order for a refill through the app it gets stuck in "processing" status. The pharmacy is severely understaffed and customer service is lacking. You get placed on hold for over 15 minutes and have to call back multiple times to get help. Almost every item is locked up so you practically need a personal shopper if you need more than a couple things. read more

This rating is not for the location or staff on 95th and 3rd. It is for the ludicrous online vs. store pricing policy that Walgreens and numerous other retailers feel at liberty to put into practice. So I visited my neighborhood Walgreens and looked at Weekly ad and it advertised the Walgreens Advanced Knee Support ( see pics) for $9.99 but shelf price states $19.99. I proceed to checkout and I show the employee the screen shot of weekly ad price and ask him to confirm it. He firsts looks at my photo then screen shot and states " maybe it's a different product". I then state they both look the same. He then scans it and states " its $19.99". I ask why? He then calls a lead sales supervisor who then states that the weekly ad explains that online and store prices vary. Why? He shrugs and states " they want more people to shop online". Ok folks, maybe that worked at the height of the pandemic due to all of us admonished by CDC and government officials asking us not to shop indoors and capacity was limited. But COVID or no COVID, this sounds like unfair pricing to me and maybe a letter to the BBB is now the next step. It sounds like Walgreens is punishing consumers who actually patronize their stores and are charged higher prices than those shopping online!!! The question is why?? Less overhead, expenses online? In the end, all it's going to do is force me to shop elsewhere. Oh btw, the add lists knee support as out of stock. This Walgreens is the absolute worst now. Quality of customers service is a sh*t show. Gone are the really sweet people who were so proactive and polite. Staff here now is so unhelpful, rude and real sourpusses. Store is always out of stock and everything is locked up. I waited 15 mins for someone to show up to get a damn toothbrush. Nobody showed up. I went looking for staff and finally see an employee helping out someone else, so I figured I'd wait and ask her for help or ask her to get someone. She saw me and then turned her back on me and walked away! I just left my cart in the middle of the aisle with whatever items and walked out. I'll never be going back here again. Would actually give this location zero stars if I could. The cashiers move with no sense of urgency and there is no option for self checkout so even if you are buying chapstick be prepared to be online for atleast 15 mins. But that's not even the reason I'm writing this review - it's the pharmacy. Happy to report that once I pick up my prescription today I will never be using this pharmacy again. Delays beyond anything normal and I don't think I have once gotten a refill filled with ample time. I take a medication every single day and if I miss more than 2 days is seriously sets me back. But of course every month I'm racing against the clock to get it filled. Not to mention there is a single file line with at least 10 people on it every time I go in but somehow there is 5-6 pharmacists sitting behind the desk with only 1 of them working the counter. Their customer service reps will infringe on your rights and lecture you about political issues. I was shopping for mousse - made 1 complaint about the fact that they require you to get a person to open a plastic barrier to get to the products -- next thing I know the customer support person starts in on how this is needed because of BAIL REFORM. I was giving him feedback as a customer-- suddenly the rep want to cross the line and bring politics into this issue. This store has totally declined. I've been coming here for years. Now there's long lines and one or two cashiers working while other store associates stand around and talk, pretend they are doing something else or probably hiding. Constant turn over the people who used to work here knew me and was pleasant. The shelves are not stocked much anymore, or there's items that should be stocked but left in boxes or just on the floor. According to Section 66-3.2 - Face-Coverings are REQUIRED NOT OPTIONAL, REQUIRED. In a PHARMACY, nonetheless they allow people to waltz around the store without face coverings, never ask them to leave and in fact allow them to purchase goods while not wearing a mask. I have gone there 3 separate times since March and every single time they allow this. Now to the man bee atch that was shopping and who thinks it's okay to not wear a mask while indoors, you are nothing more than a selfish, uneducated bee atch who apparently feel so privileged that you believe that mask rules don't apply to you. Forget what your mother told you, your not special. Cursing and misquoting that you don't need a mask indoors. What rock did you crawl out from under you pathetically incorrect schmuck. I honesty wish to be that fly on the wall the day you dare to open your sloppy mouth up to a MAN that will kick your a$$ when you are in his space and you don't have your mask on. The Pharmacy Department at Walgreens on Fish Hatchery Road, Fitchburg, WI is really messed up. They couldn't find my order, even though I have a confirmation of it. Yesterday, I called and spoke with a pharmacist to see if it was ready. She said they were waiting for my insurance to approve payment of it. So today I stopped in (drive through) to see if it was ready. The pharmacist told me they couldn't find any order for me at all -- either in the store or in the pharmacy. WOW! read more

This store is a disaster. Not only do they never have enough staff, just today I go there to buy some pretty embarrassing stuff (as one has to do at a drug store sometimes) when the item won't scan, so the clerk holds it up in front of a packed store asking for the price, takes it to the back to check the price, then comes BACK to the register and starts taking individual items out of the pack, holds them up high (again in a packed store with a long line of people waiting to check out) and and asks if it's okay to scan individually. I shop at Walgreens in my neighborhood all the time . Of course I spend lots of money in the drugstore, I mean who doesn't . The store is clean has everything and the people are lovely. However today, a young man who I have really never seen at this location was shockingly rude and I was really taken back . I had two 20 pound boxes to drop off for FedEx - I went in prior to ask if this could be done, did I have all the right stuff etc etc (before lifting them both and bringing them in). I WAS INSANELY SURPRISED WHEN THIS YOUNG GENTLEMEN (ha) told me I couldn't leave them there and had to take them back home and bring them back Tuesday when FedEx would be coming. I mean how ridiculous you have a huge store and you can't store them for one of your neighbors aka customers. I had to write something because it was shocking, of course no help and no reason for how he treated me. What a shame, what a shame . But yes I will be back because it's my neighborhood store of course . But I hope he remembers me because yea I except so much more from community stores that I try so hard to be part of it - what a shame - signed hurt neighbor. read more

I'm partially disabled and there is often a long, slow queue at the pharmacy. So, I prepaid for my prescriptions, on-line, to get "Express Service". On arriving there and I find that they have eliminated the "Express" window. There is no "Express Service". There were about 10 people on the line for regular service. That's at least half an hour of standing. There is no ticket number system to facilitate an infirm person sitting to wait their turn. Why do they offer "Express Service"? read more

The worst pharmacy. I am been coming here about 5 years because the location is convenient to home, but today was the last straw and I will be looking for another pharmacy TODAY. I have had constant issues with this pharmacy. I will receive a message saying a prescription is ready and when I show up they can't find it. Usually after waiting in line for 30+ minutes. Or I show up and have a partial order of 5 pills and will have to go back. Or I get charged the wrong amount and have to constantly ask if they are using my insurance. Today I tried to call and find out the status of a prescription that my doctor called in almost a month ago and I was told at that time that it was delayed. Radio silence ever since. The automated system couldn't find my prescription so I waited on hold for 45 minutes to speak to a someone. Ordered a photo banner online for same-day pick up at this location. The order confirmation said it would be ready by 5:30 am, but I did not receive a pick-up notice. I called the store at 2pm and was told it would be ready the next day, which is not same-day, but then they told me it was ready. My husband tried to pick it up at 7pm, and it was NOT printed. They told him to come back tomorrow, which he cannot do, and will be too late for what we need. He waited in line for 1/2 hour for this information, during the Covid Omicron outbreak in which many people in front and behind him were not wearing masks. I called the store to complain about the crowd of people not wearing masks and was told by the manager's assistant that there is nothing they can do about it. Worst pharmacy ever! I went to p/u a prescription. Waited on a long line. They said they didn't have anything for me. I called Drs office from there. They said they sent it electronically. They resent it. Waited 10 minutes, still nothing. Called dr again, they said it was sent. After a half hour still nothing. I came home 3 hrs later Walgreens pharmacy calls says there's a prescription there. It's surprising they're so inefficient, there's so many people working in the pharmacy. When this place first opened I was sad. I wanted my Key food Supermarket back. At first I vowed that I wouldn't shop their but then one day I needed B-Natal pops to help with my pregnancy nausea and the pharmacist was no help at Rite Aid, so I feeling as sick as I did and not wanting to walk to far, went inside. This store is for the most part your typical pharmacy. They have a photo center, beauty products, personal hygiene items, cleaning products for the house, a few aisles with food and an actual pharmacy where you can get your prescription filled. One nice thing is that they do carry some produce, which was a bit surprising to me. I'm figuring they are doing this because they replaced a supermarket. Well anyway, on my first trip I went to the pharmacist and asked if they carried B-Natal pops. She started by congratulating me on my pregnancy. Then she told me that they didn't have them but that she could order them for me and they would be there the following morning. The following day I went around 10:00am and sure enough the pops were there, waiting for me with my name on them. Talk about great service and follow through. read more

A Key Food supermarket used to be where this Walgreens now stands. I wish we still had that supermarket. There's a Rite Aid one block over and a Duane Reade on 86th Street, so there really wasn't a need for this store. That being said, this Walgreens is just average. When my father lived in Las Vegas, he had a Walgreens by his apartment. That store had aisles or food items and frozen food. When something was on sale, you could actually purchase it and did not need to wait around for someone to issue a raincheck. The prices at Walgreens aren't much better than Rite Aid's and the selection of items is pretty similar. I haven't filled a prescription here, but I am guessing it can't be worse than Rite Aid - the home of the two day wait to get the pills you need. The sales help are nicer than the staff at Rite Aid. They actually say hello and thank you. I guess the best thing about this Walgreens is that they sell my favorite cookies, Belgian Biscoffs. You can get them for two packs for $5.00. Take them as your next hostess gift. They will be a big hit. This location is open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00p.m. every day. read more

The parking lot was a plus but when i was on line waiting to rent at the red-box, i think a woman came out of Walgreen and left the stuff in the car than go coffee shop across the street. The guy stand at the corner pull over a tow truck in 5 min later. About the same time, the women came back and the tow truck guy charge her $$ for lifting fee, and said she was illegally park in the lot. That looks like a scam to me.
