When you enter into the store through sliding doors you are greeted and have an open space to walk into. The store is clean, well lit and organized. Very easy to get around and find what you need fast. I was picking up photos that I sent the day before through the Walgreens app. It was an easy process. I only waited a few moments before a counter greeter came to assist. Provided my name and phone number. She found the pictures and I cashed out right at the photo center. Placed the order on Saturday, and the site said it would be ready Saturday evening (I did this just to be safe, since Mother's Day was Sunday). When I went to pick up the book on Sunday, they said they were having issues with their printer and it wasn't doing the cover correctly, so the book wasn't ready. I expressed my dissatisfaction and asked if there's any way they could get the book done today as it was supposed to be ready yesterday and it is a gift for my mom. The woman working said I could come back in an hour and they'd have it done. I came back an hour later, waited (no exaggeration) 20 minutes at the photo counter for someone to help me, and the woman working the front checkout called for the photo associate 3-4 times on the intercom, she was nowhere to be found. Neither myself or the front checkout woman could find the book. When the photo associate finally showed up after 20 minutes, she located the photo book and I watched her look through it as she shook her head in disapproval. She didn't say anything to me, however, and proceeded to place the book in the packaging to ring me up. I asked if I could see the book and she gave it to me to look through. This is where I drew the line, the images were such poor quality, dark, and looked as if someone had put a filter over them. You could see the staples in the binding, and it was just an overall terrible quality book. I was astonished that she was going to let me pay for it after visibly disapproving of the product. I politely told her that I didn't want the book, appreciated her finding it, but I wasn't going to pay for that. I left the store with no photo book for my mom for Mother's Day :( I will not be using this location for my photo needs anymore, and am now skeptical of Walgreens overall for photo prints. I get it that it's not a lot of money but considering I have to pay a deposit, the over charge would paid for the deposit. So I go to bring it to the clerk's attention and immediately they accuse me of asking to change the price and that it was against the federal law. I did not ask to change the price, I asked them to refund me the money they over charged me. I asked them to please look at the price tag and the woman explained to me that no one else complained about the price and they seemed happy. I asked her again to come take a look at the price to reassure her I am not lying and she told me not to rush her. I was not trying to rush her I was simply trying to prove my point. She never once agreed to go look at the price until after she told me not to rush her. So when we get over to where the prices were, she ripped it off. Then went to to another manager to explain the mishap. They laughed saying it was only $.20. Teresa said they ended up finding the change in the back, but could not fix my receipt. I felt little about asking for $.20 back. I was just bothered how they seem to be so OK with overcharging me, and the other customers as well. Not to mention they just assumed that the price tag was wrong on display versus the one in the computer. She didn't even double check prices just went for the higher amount. I noticed that they charged less then the normal places I go to. That is why last night and today I came to give my business to them. But instead I was treated like I was a panhandler begging for change. Not sure if because culture difference she treated me that way but no one really wants to deal w/a "know it all kid". Her communication was not good and what she projected helps me to decide this was not the place to come for good service. Workers complained about kids and dogs at home is another inappropriate conversation to have when dealing w/customers. Wish you had higher standards RIteAid. Not the best place to come for Black Friday deals. Instead they'll over change you and laugh at you for their mistakes.
