Nothing against these stores but their new designs are horrible in my opinion!!! I cringe having to go into them now but have always loved Walgreens for my lip gloss, and lotions. I stopped for batteries because I didn't want to fight parking at giant retail stores and come out with more than I went for. I didn't see many employees but the cashier was nice. They went into my Walgreens account; found the prescription; obtained special permission to refill it; and had it ready for me to pick up before we flew out! I understand there is a shortage of pharmacists, however what happen tonight at this Walgreens's was bad management. I waited 20-25 minutes in the drive through to pick up 2 prescriptions. There was one car in front of me when I got there and 7 behind me when I left. There was 2 people inside working and they interacted with 3-4 people inside instead of alternating one inside and one outside. Walgreens needs to close down the drive thru if they can't support it. At least if you walk in and see a line of 4-5 people you can make a decision to either wait or leave. In the drive-thru, you have no clue what is going on. Stopped to get a flu shot for my mother and they took more than 30-40 mins making us wait for paperwork and then a long wait to get the shot. Definitely don't recommend this store for flu shots unless you are ok with long waits. read more

This is a super-nice location! The layout is excellent and it is easy to see throughout the store from the door. There are also big, open aisles that make it feel comfortable to shop there. You also have to love the sales that Walgreens has on medications. They always have good deals and a solid selection of generics. Overall a very good experience read more

This is for the Pharmacy only: I've been getting prescriptions filled here for well over a year and have nothing but trouble. The last straw came when my husband saw on the Walgreens app that his prescription was in the process of being filled and knowing how that's worked out for us in the past called to double check. The pharmacist told him he was filling it right then. He said that was good because his wife was going to stop in and pick it up now. I was out and about so I went to the drive through about 15 minutes later only to be told by the same pharmacist my husband just spoke with that it won't be ready for another 2 hours because they were very busy. I understand busy, I understand things happen but don't lie. This has happened numerous times and I mean most every time. This has been an ongoing problem to the point I will no longer be using this Pharmacy. My insurance company switched from CVS to Walgreens and it's been a nightmare, everytime. I'll now be using Express Scripts and have my Prescriptions mailed to me. And for all the Burley's out there that cause other issues with drugs because they're selling them on the street corner, stop it! You make it really hard for law abiding citizens to get what they need without jumping through hoops and being scrutinized like common drug addicts. read more

Need to say something. I needed a prescription and went through the drive through. I will admit, I was in a bad mood because I felt nothing was going right hahaha there was always some sort of obstacle. The gentleman in the prescription window was helpful, trying to help the best he could when I didn't receive a prescription card in the mail from my insurance. He gave me critical information that I would need from the card. Without it, I wouldn't have been sure what to ask for. He was amazing, even when I was stressed in the situation. I ended up going in and apologizing after. The lady that helped me after was super kind as well. Helped me resolve my missing prescription card as well as address issues. As always this location is very knowledgeable and friendly when talking about how to use the medication. Have always loved the customer service here and at the pharmacy. Thank you! read more

Corporate Mega-chain Fun Fact: Walgreen Co. is named after Charles R. Walgreen, Sr. who founded the chain of drug stores. He had planned to be a professional athlete in his youth but after loosing a finger in a factory accident, he decided to become a pharmacist. He purchased his first pharmacy, where he was working at the time, in 1901. Due to his improvements in customer service (including a speedy delivery service) the store thrived and he was able to add more stores and eventually expand beyond the Chicago area. This particular location is not 100+ years old. Actually it was built new from the ground up just a couple years ago. Everything still looks clean and organized so for that reason it is my favorite drug store in the area. There are many popular restaurants and sports bars in this shopping center so parking can be a problem in the evenings. But if you try the spaces on the north and west side of the store you will find plenty of spots since those are marked for Walgreens customers only. read more

There is pretty much a Walgreens on every street corner and this one is no different from the others. Staff is friendly and are usually willing to help. The pharmacist Muna, is extremely helpful if you need any health or medical assistance. Overall, its Walgreens however, there isn't a redbox, which is inconvenient. read more

Rating this location pharmacy only. Worst Walgreens pharmacy I've been to. Pharmacy staff seems to not care about customer service. Very disorganized and arguing with each other behind the counter. Not sure why the entire staff has to go to lunch at the same time. Other Walgreens stagger lunch so someone is always at the pharmacy window. The previous time I was there, the text system said my prescription was being prepared. It was close to closing time and this was a critical health issue, so I went to pick it up. When I arrived, they said it was out of stock and it would be a week before I could get it! When I asked them to see if any nearby Walgreens had the meds on hand, they reluctantly started looking. They couldn't even tell where the Walgreens were located ... telling me the store number (no address) and asking me if that was a close one. As if I know the Walgreens store numbers. Comical if I hadn't really needed my meds. Last week they were supposed to have 2 filled prescriptions which were ordered by my doctor at the same time. When not one was ready I asked about the other. They said they didn't know and it would be ready if they had received it. I asked if they could look up my records or check orders. The answer was a flat no. When my doctor's office tried to call them, she was placed on hold for 15 minutes and finally hung up. Walgreens is the only allowed pharmacy for my insurance, so I'll be finding another location with better customer service. read more

I love Walgreens. Never had any issues with the beauty event in the past. There's one beauty specialist who knows me from the past and for this event she gave me a 7kpts off 25$ booster the day before the event started stating that I could stack the boosters. Cool. Thank you, I put a lot of money into Walgreens so it felt nice to be appreciated. Well when I tried to stack them here the beauty person gave me attitude and called a manager to verify it was ok who said "uh yea it's fine." Yet she continued with the attitude and proceeded to take the new coupon out of the beauty bag I EARNED FAIRLY and handed me the couponless bag. Listen lady it's not your money, your product, your business and it's not your problem. Make your customer happy by doing the RIGHT thing and continue about your day. Every single time I have gone to fill a prescription I have had issues and they don't think to contact the patient and inform them of said issues. Over a week of waiting for my prescription and still no courtesy call to let me know what's going on, not the first time this has happened either. Then they give me three different reasons as to why it was "denied".. At least stick to one if you're going to make excuses. I will not be going here anymore. read more

Slow prescription service. 30 minutes really means 120 minutes. Other services are competitive with most drug stores. Have used this location many times and the wait times for Pharmecy services is slow. Additional staff would certainly help. As a preschool teacher, I sometimes need photos printed in a hurry, and I've often used Walgreen's photo department since it is close and easy. Earlier this year, I found some 30-year-old old negatives of my brother and sister in a drawer and took them to Walgreens to be processed. After four months, they tell me the negatives must be lost. The manager was very apologetic and even watched the camera footage from the day I brought them in to see who handled my order, but no gift card or anything was offered for my loss. If you try to fill a prescription here, and they're out, don't believe them when they promise they'll get it in, they will lie to you about that. Find a better pharmacy that has things in stock.
