I had been unsatisfied with my current Walgreens and was seeking out a special medication. This pharmacy had it in stock! The Pharmacist offered to wait for me after closing to pick up my medication. (This medication is timed and you need to replace the patch that day or you start having pain.)I am currently fighting cancer and this lovely pharmacist was so kind, empathetic and a wonderful human being! I could not thank her enough. The next month I had the SAME issue at my regular Walgreens. She again came to my rescue! I have found a new pharmacy closer to my home and I have dropped the Pickerington Walgreens Pharmacy, I sure wish she was close to my location! read more

Needed some sundries, and this was handy. Sweetie loves Walgreens, mom loves CVS, I think both are overpriced and have paltry selections. But, they're useful occasionally. This did not have what mom was looking for, but did have a toy for K that saved me a trip to Meijer/Walmart/Target. On sale for the regular price at those places. The worst operating pharmacy ever. Pharmacist is rude, unprofessional, inefficient and nasty. I received an email letting me know that one of my prescriptions was due for a refill and was in process. Several days later I went there to pick up another refill and asked about the one that was in process the week before. I was told it wasn't ready yet. That is ridiculous. It wasn't a new prescription, there were a number of refills left on it and the prescribing doctor did not have to be notified in order to fill it. So what took so long??? I had another experience when I went to get two vaccines. I made an online appointment but when I arrived, I sat there waiting for a half hour. Needless to say I won't be using this pharmacy again, not that it will matter to them. read more

The pharmacy experience is about as frustrating as you can get. I had to call the pharmacy to transfer prescriptions from one location to this one, and after 45 mins on hold, it rang and they hung up! This happened twice in the last week! Out of the 5 times I called, wait times were always 45 mins and I only got through once. I wish I could have performed the switch via the app. And the drive thru is another similar experience. They spent 27 mins on 1 car, and we were blocked in so we couldn't back out. Not convenient, very frustrating, I switched to Walmart. read more

So I'm not a Walgreen's person. I may be wrong, but I think we each have a go-to pharmacy where we get our scripts filled and pick up other items not available elsewhere. For me, I'm a CVS person. I'm pretty sure it's because our Rx insurance career is Caremark - so our 90 day scripts are filled on site at CVS stores. PLUS - there are like 3 of them within a mile from our house. Hand to god - I shall never go in want of a pharmacy nearby. I think one is ever 24/7. Anyways, so I've made clear I'm not a Walgreens person. IN FACT - I know this is only the 2nd time I've been in this store - AND - 3rd time in ANY Walgreen's ever. I was in this store again because I again missed the onsite flu shots given at work. We had the option to print out a form and get a shot for "free" at any Walgreens. This Walgreens - which is not so conveniently located like my 3 CVS's - is near one of the Aldi's I go to - and Clothes Mentor - so it was not a wasted trip. I made an appointment but honestly, I don't think it got my service any faster than the people who clearly walked in with no appointment. They did acknowledge my appointment, but I still waited for the people in front of me to go. Once they did call my name, I stepped behind a screen, exposed my shoulder (I had planned ahead with a tank top underneath my sweatshirt), and a quick stab in the shoulder, a Walgreens' branded band aid and I was done. It definitely was relatively convenient - far better than a doctor's office. But CVS would have been ideal. Other things about Walgreens - I'm sure they send a circular - but I don't recall getting it bundled with the grocery ads. I'm an ad person and like to plan my shopping around deals and specials. ALso, CVS carries clothing - which I like. I've picked up some yoga pants, blouses and scarves. I briefly looked at Walgreens but only recall seeing socks and gloves. So unless they put a Walgreens closer the house and my RX plan changes over to them, I will remain a CVS person. Clearly nothing wrong with Walgreens, just lots more right (for me) for CVS. read more

Went to pick up 2 non-narcotic maintenance prescriptions and waited over 15 minutes in the Drive-thru, so I figured if I walked inside things would be quicker. Nope. 30 minutes to pick up prescriptions that have been ready for 2 days prior to my even going to get them. Not acceptable. Shaking my head. Great location. We have gotten our photos developed here for years-quick service and great quality. The store is always clean and well maintained. Great inventory-you can find almost anything from make-up to snacks to medical supplies. Employees are knowledgeable and quick to offer help. Prices are very good-better than a lot of pharmacies we've dealt with. read more

The employees must think I live here. I come here almost everyday for at least one thing. I don't come here for the makeup or food but mostly for personal hygiene items and usually find great deals. From shampoo, lotions to razors. I usually get candy and drinks here before running errands. I enjoy the holiday selections, especially after the holiday has passed because those items are usually marked down to 50% off! read more

Not another drug store! Fortunately, Walgreens is more than just another "drug store". When it comes to the prototype mini-grocery store/pharmacy, Walgreens has followed the CVS model perfectly, if not better. While so many other copycats have come and gone, Walgreens knows what it takes to stay in business. I like that. I actually prefer other competitors who are closer to me in proximity, but I have to give Walgreens a thumbs up review. Their stores are very organized and well-stocked with great product selections - at low prices - that it's hard to rely on the big grocery store chains when I need to make a quick run and pick up some essentials. Their hours are long, but they're not open 24 hours. Walgreens is large enough to carry most of what I need, but small enough to locate my items quickly. I enjoy the bright, clean atmosphere and cordial staff. It confirms the reason why I enjoy shopping there. read more

So I waited till the last minute to print photos to gift, but the gentleman working the photo counter was very helpful. Since they were out of the size paper I needed he offered the larger for a lesser price and moments later the print was ready. We decided to scan the aisles for potential stocking suffers. The building's footprint isn't large but they clearly know how to stock the place with a large variety of decently priced items. Add the fact the staff members were so friendly and I'll be keeping this Walgreens location in mind. read more

The sales clerk, Joe, is the nicest person. He handled my return and directed me to where my item I was looking for was. He is definitely an asset to Walgreens. The Pharmacy here is SUBstandard. Just called on December 22, 2015 for a simple allergy medicine that my daughter's doctor had already said would be covered. I called this pharmacy back, and they tell me it's not covered. Really? Well check this out. Not only did the girl who answered not even try to suggest the over the counter equivalent, but turns out she was just incapable of figuring out how to run the card correctly, which Discount Drug Mart was able to do. Don't waist your time here folks, they simple don't care, to big for the common consumer. I had my office transfer to Drug Mart, after confirmation of a DOB, a simple fix, presto, its covered!! Pathetic service at the photo department. The lady was unwelcoming and extremely rude. My husband and I went in for our passport photos. She advised that the passport photo printer was down. And when asked when it will be functional again, rudely told us that as it is they were about to close at 8:24 pm. I would never go back to this store. read more

Don't expect coupons to be honored. I received in the mail a coupon for bonus points on ANY walgreen's omeprazile 28 ct or larger product. I purchased walgreen's omeprazole 42 ct and the register says the coupon is not good. The clerk and manager say it's not the same box that is pictured on thecoupon so they won't honor it. The operative word here is ANY. their coupon good for two Aleve products doesn't have pictures if both aleve products either. They do not accept that there's a mistake in entering the product types. Oh, well, I won't be stoppingin to try to use theircoupons anymore. read more
