This pharmacy sucks, want to avoid a migraine then don't come here. The pharmacy needs to hustle be shut down

The pharmacy better get it together cuz I am getting very disgusted right now! I think I'll just go back to Walmart where I started before I came here! I call you made it very clear what I'm what's in regards to it's very simple you tell him the whole story in short then they transfer someone else and then that's someone else trans you back to the one that you were just talking to! Very poor - called to refill prescriptions (2) using the automated system. After inputting all necessary information, was told system "couldn't process my request" and I would be transferred to the pharmacy. Was on hold for 8 minutes and then disconnected. Called back and was kept on hold for more than 40 minutes - all the while being repeatedly told I would be transferred to the pharmacist "shortly". Ridiculous. I would NOT be using Walgreens except that my current Medicare Part D prescription plan requires me to do so. Extremely annoying. Prior to this year I have used CVS in Deer Park for many, many years and absolutely NEVER had these kinds of issues. read more

Walgreens is the worst pharmacy that I ever had to deal with. They claim that they never received the prescription from my doctor despite the fact that they sent me a text last night saying that they did receive the prescription and would be filling it shortly, When I called this morning since I never got a text, they claimed that they never received the prescription. When my husband actually went into the store and showed them the text they still claimed that they never received it. LIARS! This isn't the first time that this has happened. I wish there was a less then one star rating, even the body washes are locked now. At this point you need an employee to walk around with you because everything is locked up. Numerous items are locked up even laundry detergent which turns a fast trip into a nightmare. Not the first time I walked out and ordered on Amazon and had the items the same day. Not to mention a few times I received wrong prescriptions from this location luckily the regional manager made that situation right. read more

Would not say things went well. A prescription was sent to the pharmacy about 10 days before it could be refilled. Pharmacist did not look at the prescription until the date it would be filled and realized that the medication was not in stock and back ordered. ZERO STARS If you are looking to get any sort of photo service done here...go anywhere else. I ordered ONE custom greeting card. I received an email from Walgreens saying my order was to be finished at 12:21. I arrived at the store six hours later...and was told my the person at photo area that my order was not completed and would not be completed until after 6pm tomorrow. I ask to speak to the store manager and was hung up on twice. On my third try i was transferred to Rob. He was useless. He told me to call back tomorrow and speak to Nicole. Horrible store. Should be closed. Untrained employees , management always changing . You're very lucky if you can get through on the phone . Their curbside pickup is a joke . This is the absolute WORST Walgreens location ever. I placed a photo order last night that said it would also be ready last night. It is now 14 hours passed the quoted time and it still is not ready. So, I decided to call the store and ask what is going on... forget that. One hour, 36 phone calls... every time I get put on hold and hung up on. Customer service is awful. This is probably the longest I've ever had to wait on anything in a Walgreens, especially since I wasn't even on the line at this point. Only two people were even remotely helpful but the two young girls they had there, need to be retrained because I've been in customer service like 10 years and they were not it. They had the only lady ringing by herself for a good minute before anyone really helped her, a gentleman and what looked like his grandson were there before me and barely got assistance and when he did it still wasn't great. When one of the girls came after the other one the time was off and I'm like ????? . I went in today for simple over the counter allergy medication but of course everything but the Walgreens brand was locked up. I asked a woman who was in the same aisle as me if she worked at Walgreens. She replied yes so I said can you unlock a medication for me. Her replied without evening making eye contact was yes in a few minutes. Like wow you are standing right next to me and it is going to take you a few minutes. So I replied never mind and purchased the Walgreens brand. I go on lone which is long and is only 1 cashier. Of course right as I am the next on line the same woman who turn out to be the manager rings me up. While she is ringing me up I asked her are you the manager to which she said yes. I told her I asked you for help. She replies yes and you said forgot it. To which I said yes because it would take a few minutes. I then asked her why is it the name brand medication is locked up but not the Walgreens brand. Her response was I don't know. I told her it seems you are pushing customers to buy your brand as you are making it harder for customers to buy name brand. Once again no eye contact or customer service. At the end of purchase I told her the customer service here stinks. The manager was a young lady with long bridal. Now if you want to get scared of getting an accident, this is the RIGHT PLACE FOR YOU! I cannot tell you the amount of car accidents I've seen here, dreadful honestly. The way DPA is and its roads are very odd and dangerous. Including that the staff at Walgreens are actually quite rude. I was just looking around when a coworker would keep an eye on my in the makeup department. Keep in mind my intentions were never to steal but to look. She than asked me if I needed anything. Open 24/7. This Walgreens is located right off of Deer Park Ave. aka DPA. Making it a prime location to attract customers. I, personally, have a Walgreens card so whenever I'm in Deer Park and I forgot some essentials I stop by this Walgreens. Over the past, I have saved some money by using that card. The staff are friendly and to the point. They have a wide selection of things including some organic items. They offer everything from food to shampoo. read more

The pharmacy lines are ridiculously long every time I go in there. More specifically now that they offer express pick up where you can pay to skip the line or whatever it is the lines have gotten longer. Almost like they purposely make long lines so that you want to pay for express pick up. Just another case of a greedy corporation saying f you to their customers. It is so sad that my parents have to use this Pharmacy for their Medicare. Thinking that you are old enough to be on Medicare and have to deal with the BS that goes on at this Pharmacy blows my mind. I have had more than enough patience with this place. Changing over to CVS for my parents and will pay the difference in cost. Came on Medicare for using them as their preferred Pharmacy. I was standing on line waiting, as usual, and this little old man walked up to the counter, shaking and trying to talk to the lady. She was so rude and obviously did not have patience for this job . I will never use the Walgreens in deer park again, the people in the pharmacy are very rude , and don't take the time to actually help you . Every time I have gone there they try to give me the generic various of my prescription even though my doctor sends the right prescription. I was just there and waited 25 mins . The pharmacist told me that they do not have my prescription even thought my doctor sent it yesterday and are unable to order it because they don't have the prescription in the factory . I used to had my prescription done in CVS but most of the time they were out of my medication. Had no choice to switch to this location.This location is 24hrs with a drive through pharmacy. It's clean and the employees are very friendly. The pharmacist "AMAN" who is extremely knowledgeable and helpful that he goes beyond his limit to help the clients. Recently got diagnosed as a Diabetic Patient and Pharmacist "AMAN" helped me to go through all the steps as a new Diabetic patient to achieve my goal to embrace this new be. I would recommend all to visit this store in Deer Park and take the advantage of this wonderful gentleman Pharmacist "AMAN" to be your next pharmacist for all your medication needs. read more

I have had it with this Walgreen location. Try getting these guys to pick up the phone in any department! I called twice today and both times nobody picks up the phone. Instead I get a very annoying voice answering machine letting me know there are multiple callers ahead of me. After 15 minutes when the answering machine said it was my turn, somebody picked up the phone and hung up. This is unacceptable. Somebody please address this issue to the upper management. read more

I've been using this Walgreens at the corner of Deer Park Ave & Grand Blvd. for over 15 years but recently their service has been very bad, especially the pharmacy. I called to ask the pharmacist a question about a prescription and he sounded like I was bothering him even though that is his job, I believe his name was Claudio. The next day I went into the store and asked again to speak to a pharmacist, this time it was a woman. She was right in front of me but had me wait for a few minutes . it looks like they have changed most of the employees which explains why. I am seriously considering to change my pharmacy because of their poor service there. read more

Yes, I review drug stores, convenience stores, & gas stations, and this Walgreens is no exception. Every so often, all these kinds of places offer a free photo print or two for in-store pickup, and I always capitalize. This time around, I placed my 8x10 order to this 24-hour iteration and received an e-mail confirmation of its readiness within minutes. I stopped in a couple days later and the B&M service was just as quick, and not as confused by me not owing them anything as people tend to be. I have no problem giving Walgreens a 5 in this case. read more

I love this store! It has everything and it's open all night. I often get home late from working and whatever I need... whether it's a tool, toilet paper, medicine, a light bulb, milk, a bubble wrap envelope, a shirt or socks.. they have it.. and it's inexpensive. I find myself there often at night around 1am and there's always a lot of people there shopping as well. The people who work there are very courteous and helpful. Sometimes I get worried for the overnight workers in regards to security because they are open all night and there's not a lot of police presence or security there. I hope they can bring in some security for the workers and for those patrons coming out in the parking lot. read more

Everything you'd expect from a Walgreens. The staff, especially the night shift, are very friendly and helpful and the store itself is clean and well laid out. The only problem I have with this place is that there's literally always a line. I go several times a week and don't think I've ever been able to get in and out without being held up at the register. Whether it's 10:30 am, 4:00 pm, or even 2:00 in the morning I've always ended up waiting behind several other people who seem to have not place better to be than standing in-line at Walgreens. Sometimes, if the line gets long enough, they'll call up a second employee to help the main register but it's usually too little to late. If they could make the check out experience a little more efficient they'd get a 5/5 rating. read more

Racist much!?! I will NEVER shop at Walgreen's again after the experience I had there. A friend of mine had to pick up an item, It was very late and every other store was closed. The cashier was a little brat in her teens. She was so rude for no reason. The item was defective so the next day we went to return it. My friend had misplaced the receipt and they made it in to this HUGE deal! First the same cashier called up the manger viva pa system, Then they both interrogated my friend like some sort of criminal. Both my friend, my fiance and myself were very calm and the manger and cashier were so obviously annoyed with us. So then they actually had the nerve to pull up video severance form the night before to point out my friend was giving a receipt? To which our response was ,OK so you just proved she bought it here? They continued on to say she couldn't return her item and were so obscene they made her cry! I then made some kind of remark like right but if it were just me a white girl trying to return this it wouldn't be a problem, and I swear to you the cashier smirked! My fiance who is very non-confrontational then told them how unreasonable they were being and we were going to report them as soon as we left! They ended up just giving my friend a gift card? Yeah because she's really going to go back to Walgreen's! I did report them several times.I hope no one else has an experience like that in this store again! read more
