Staff in pharmacy is good. They work with you to find ways to lower drug costs. I choose Walgreens over CVS any day!

Although the staff at this location is very welcoming and nice, the system they use is not the greatest.. Countless times their system has tried to put in a different medication than the only I am prescribed, it's a battle to get refills, and the whole system is just a joke. I will give one star for the staff that are pleasant. However, if you are worried about Covid, stay away! I have been here twice recently and every time there have been customers without masks flaunting the indoor mask rule. Yesterday I was sandwiched between two people in line who were not wearing masks. One was smirking as he entered the store for a snack and continued to smirk at me in line. His purchasing a snack without a mask is not more important than my life. I look fine, but am immunocompromised and probably would die or be extremely ill if I get it. I left the line and sought out someone to check me out in cosmetics. She hesitated, asking if the front was open, but then she decided to help. read more

We were visiting from Milwaukee and like visiting the different Walgreens around the nation when we travel. We picked up supplies for S'mores but were rained out! The staff was friendly and helped us navigate around the store. I talked to one of the Store Team Leads about the weather and she was very friendly as well as the front cashier. It was a bit of a challenge getting there though, the street is all tore up do to construction. It was close to our resort as well. read more

This Walgreens location is staffed by some wonderful people! The pharmacy is almost always busy, but they handle it efficiently. The manager or head Pharmacist is very friendly & knowledgeable. On almost every visit, the cashier in the front of the store goes the extra mile, & checks for coupons I may have missed. I frequent this store often & every staff member I come in contact with is polite & friendly. The store itself is clean and well maintained. read more

The floor in the pharmacy waiting area is filthy. I know this because I had a two hour wait--with an appointment--on Monday for an annual flu shot. I understand the issues that the demand for vaccines and staff shortage can create, but I fault the Walgreen's management. There was a sign at the entrance welcoming walk-ins, when they clearly couldn't handle the customers with appointments. It also makes no sense for people to be allowed to book appointments when they don't have staff to administer the shots. It would have also been helpful if the staff communicated--a periodic announcement of "We apologize for the wait. We are short staffed. Computer systems are overwhelmed with requests and moving slowly. We will be processing paperwork for six people at a time and then administering shots for that group. Wait time is currently two hours." I felt sorry for the pharmacist, who was doing double duty, and was clearly over her head. I will never go back, not even to shop. read more

I schedule and was confirmed for a covid 19 vaccine for my 4 year old. I drive 50 minutes to get there $20.00 in gas there and back. We are denied a free vaccine because my daughter is on badgercare. Denied for a FREE vaccine. If you are poor too bad we can't help you. That is some beyond poor service! The same thing happened in Janesville for my 8 year old, but they actually helped and figured it out. read more

Then, my bag was set out of reach waiting for a consultation on a refill! They ignored me for 15 minutes. I changed insurance and they said I needed to send in a prior authorization form to have my insurance cover my medication. The next day they still had not received a response and so I said I will just pay with my HSA or with cash and take my medication because I NEED to take my medication every day - this is what my Dr. ordered! They would not let me pay with my HSA or with cash... They would not give me my medication that I needed and they offered no solution. How can a company refuse to let me pay for medication my Dr has prescribed? Chris, who is apparently the Pharmacy Manager was extremely rude and condescending. He was also extremely cold and uncaring - you could tell that he did not have any compassion or empathy for my situation. I have never been treated so horribly by a company and I will never set foot in another Walgreens as long as I live - I suggest you do the same. EDIT: I discovered that the cause of all of my issues was due to Walgreen's Pharmacy Tech not informing me that by using a new insurance that it would delay my prescription from being filled. If I had known this, I would have simply used my HSA to pay for the prescription and I would have gotten it on time. The pharmacy manager indicated that this Tech was supposed to inform me about this but they did not. However, this does nothing to help my situation as I have no recourse and there is still nothing they can do now. It's a shame that Walgreen's isn't training it's employees better, you would think that this area of expertise would require extensive training regarding protocols, but apparently not. read more

i agree with ALL the bad reviews. Every time I go to pick up a pre-ordered prescription that are supposed to be automatically filled it takes from 35 minutes to one hour at the drive through. That is with only one or two cars ahead of you. I lost my cool after it took 25 minutes for one car and told them they needed more help and I thought it sucked. The girl disappeared and then helped the other car and wouldn't return my money and order. The pharmacist , who was hiding, came on the loud speaker and violated my privacy by announcing to all the waiting cars what I was picking up and what it was for. When i finally was given my money and order i counted my money and checked my order before starting my car. The pharmacist was now concerned and in a hurry for me to be on my way since they still had a line of cars and only 20 minutes til closing. What a joke. Will never go to ANY walgreens again. I also agree that there photos suck. They definitely need to get a grip and figure it out. read more

Don't trust this pharmacy! For almost 2 years now when I get my prescription filled the fill with the wrong medication. Cannot go through the drive-through because I have to open up the medication and make sure it's the correct one. Once again today I went in there to pick up my prescription and it was the wrong one. I cannot have a certain brand due to the allergic reaction when I take it. Every time I fill my prescription here I tell The pharmacist that I cannot have the one brand. It's noted in all my files, and it's also printed on my receipts that you get with your prescription. Every time I fill it they still do it incorrectly. I will never have it filled here again. Use this pharmacy at your own risk. They do not care about your needs. And staff in the pharmacy are very rude when they mess up. Front staff and check out are very nice. read more

On several occasions my prescription has been sent over to this pharmacy by my doctor. I usually wait about an hour an then call the automated number to check on status. It always give me a time of a few hours later. I will then go to the pharmacy to get medicine more the 5 hours later( plenty of time to get it ready) and it's never ready. I have gotten angry in the past, but this last time my husband went in to get it and the pharmacist and girl behind the counter were talking about me. My husband heard them say, this lady always gets angry. So here is my advice to you, one if it says it will be ready in a few hours then have it ready and if you don't like me getting angry, then do your job and I don't get angry. My prescription was called in at 930 am and still wasn't ready by 430 pm. But I'm the angry one. Ha! read more

Photo department is awful. Not staffed on both visits. Received an email when photos were ready to go to store and not have them ready. Had multiple copies of 1 picture and every print looked different. Awful quality. When I spoke to manager she could care less, told me it was my fault and they received the picture that way. I told her to look at all the different copies and how they all looked different. Get your pictures at a different store, trust me. read more

I wanted to write a thank you to the pharmacist, Sheri at the Walgreens in Delavan! I'm staying in the area on my honeymoon and realized I forgot a Rx at home that I needed immediately. In the hour and a half before the store closed, Sheri was able to text my doctor, refill my prescription, give me a discount on the already-expensive medication since it had previously been filled on my insurance and get me everything I needed before the store closed and it would be too late to take my pill.
