Trulieve is the most unorganized dispensary in the area. I showed up 9 AM first one through the door and within 3 seconds there's three people ahead of me going in to do the pick up. They need to establish a pick up desk which they already have but never has it staffed, because everyone who calls in and checks in goes back shops so now I'm sitting number four I walked out again. This is the fifth time I have just walked out, gone down the road to a competitor and was completely satisfied. I won't waste one more minutes of my time going back to True Leaf, which is nothing but a big. I give it one star and that's being generous . read more

Everyone have been super friendly both times I stopped by to shop. I am new to having my medical marijuana license, and they have been very informative and helpful with any questions. Tina, at the front desk, is always welcoming as are Shay & Audrey. Kevin was wonderful help in the shop, also! My only complaint is that they've been out of stock of the few things both times I was there. The wait at all trulieves is absolutely ridiculous, but this one especially, always short staffed. Would highly recommend going to VidaCann or Sunnyside both not far from this location, Ayr is also great option if you're willing to go to fort Walton. Even the "express pickup" here at trulieve is never actually express, expect a minimum of a 30 minute wait every time you come in. Today was a 50 minute wait. Also the flower here is always dry and never fresh, I expect my "top shelf" to not crumble in my hands when I pull it out of the container. read more

Now that there is a location in fwb I recommend going there. it's weird, the people in the back at Destin haven't been able to help me (or treat me as good) as those in fort Walton. Last night I went in destin thinking they closed at 7 not 6... I got in about 5:55 and the lady at the front was nice and let me go back really quick. I asked a quick question after profusely apologizing and all I got for answers were " I don't know" and extreme rudeness; I just wanted to know the percentage. Next: The guy asked for my military ID inquiring about my discount.. I had been asked the last few times I went in and the lady made a note in the system ( I remember this because she was really rude to my mom, acted annoyed the whole time, couldn't answer my questions and has just been consistent in this way) so I know he was just annoyed with me. WELL WELL, Tina was in fact there and told the guy she checked me, he legit rolled his eyes and told me he would put it in. I again apologized, said thank you and rushed out. I would like to say this hasn't been the norm but they just aren't as nice in destin and it's like playing roulette wondering if you'll get a good tender or not... NOT THE CASE IN FWB TLDR: Tina was mean to my mom & I'll never forget that, FWB Trulieve is waaaaaaaay better & you're more likely to get someone more knowledgeable and nicer (and it's across from Tj Maxx ) read more

Amazing staff that is completely patient centric. Everyone has surprised me with their willingness and desire to help through the MMJ application process and have returned several times to purchase, as this has become my go to dispensary. I'm really glad I started my journey with them. If you end up with something that doesn't work as desired they take it back, I've been told nobody else does that and I believe it. I am sooooo upset!!!!! I just got a pickup order. They told me they were out of something that I already ordered online yesterday. Fine okay, whatever there was a glitch on the website. Then as I was walking out of the door into the waiting area a woman (I think an employee)WITHOUT A FACE COVERING COUGHED IN MY FACE!!!!!!! I'm a Truliever for life, in town for a few days so I stopped by the Destin location to pick up a few things. The employees were unbelievably unprofessional, I have never seen anything like it at any other location. Discussing deeply personal matters amongst themselves and customers up front, then let me there waiting for such a long time they finally realized they hadn't checked me in properly so they brought me back and didn't apologize or acknowledge it. Then in the back they weren't ready for me and were going to make me wait again, and the woman was really rude about it and seemed annoyed (shouldn't I be the one feeling frustrated, not you?), so I said forget it and left. It took way too long, I never wait that long anywhere else, and nobody cared, so I will take my business elsewhere. Terrible Trulieve experience. read more

I am a 69 year old woman with severe arthritis. My first experience with Trulieve was in Ft Walton Beach. It was wonderful I learned so much. I live 40 miles from Destin but was down there for a drs appt. This was the most unprofessional place I had ever been. They were throwing snacks at each other and the girl that checked me out knew nothing about the product. I asked and was told they promise to deliver anywhere in FL. I have had 2 deliveries and put in another order on Aug 9. It was accepted and I never heard from a soul. No text, no email, no phone call. When I called to find out what time yesterday they were coming I was told by the girl that answered that they were short handed so they could not deliver. I have tried all of the other dispensaries. I love Trulieve but this is not what they say they are. The girl told me she would put in a request to call me. I'm still waiting. Guess they don't have enough people to call me. I do not want to shop at the destin store which use to always be a pleasant experience till recently. I feel extremely uncomfortable after manager Shanay treated me like an inconvenience to deal with. Its gotten to the point the few employees that have been nothing but helpful, kind, and want to help you with any questions have repeatedly apologized for how shanay treats me. It got to the point I requested to speak with Erica about the miss treatment. She said she would speak with shanay and I just asked for no contact. Shanay still continues the miss treatment. Talking to Erica about this did nothing but put a bigger target on my back for shanay. I told Erica it makes me uneasy because shanay has access to my information. This has been going on since March 23. April 20th shanay still continues, and I met Ashley who treated me the same way shanay does. I have posted on this dispensary before and the only thing I can say is this dispensary needs to have all employees trained by the Fort Walton or Pensacola stores. The Destin dispensary sucks in so many ways. Who ever is running the dispensary needs to find another job. I put my orders in online for delivery and on 2 occasions I have not received them. If I had the capability to choose my dispensary for delivery where I live I would not choose the Destin dispensary. This dispensary voided them out. The dispensary is free on voiding out orders. If you are doing a delivery order only. Oh by the way did I mention they were orders that were almost $500.00 orders. You snooze you lose. I finally made the change to Surterra and the Girl Scout Cookie tru-clear that they have is similar to dog walker concentrate that Trulieve has.
