This is one of the worst chains I have experienced. I am a RN. I understand the process, but they are terrible. Being a diabetic I require my medication, it is not a option. 3 times this month alone, they are out of the medication at the warehouse, The truck did not come. They tell you it will be there on certain date, and when it is not they DO NOT TELL YOU ANYTHING. YOU SIT IN LINE FOR 30 MINUTES, AND DO NOT GET YOUR MEDS. WHAT DO THEY EXPECT US TO DO. I am left borrowing meds from friends, because I can not do without. It is the weekend, and you can not get your MD to send a RX someplace else. They are terrible. read more

This is a pretty brand new location here in Duncanville. Pretty cool cause now it's alot closer and "in" the city. Old location used to be on the "outskirts" of town. Plus it's now @ the same intersection as it's Rival. (if you notice, most Walgreens n it's rival are located across the street from each other. The store is new and fancy inside. Very white and bright! Customer service has always been very friendly when I have gone in and they do a good job of keeping sale items stocked. I am a fan and will come for those good sales. Plenty of parking as well although the drive thru seems a little bit tricky. read more

Came in to get a passport photo, the lady didn't even speak to me and when I asked to look at the picture, she kept huffing and puffing because I guess it wasn't in the right angle? Kwadwo Owusu is running a great management in her pharmacy set up I had issues with my prescription being sent to a different location(by the hospital) at my old address when I was calling that location ( westmoreland) I could not get in touch with them for over half an hour and never did , when I got in contact with this location my call was answered in less than 2 minutes the woman who answered was so nice and tried her best to help me and made my experience so easy when I was in pain I truly and will always be grateful and thankful for this I love you guys keep up the great work . The parmacist at this location has terrible customer service!!!! I would just go across the street to CVS. I understand that sometimes the ladies at the front don't have all the information so come out and help, don't let the poor girls run in circles. Taking a few minutes to try to help wouldn't hurt and might show that they care about the customers. It was my first and last visit!!!! read more

Brand new, just built, too bad they filled it with kids that walk around following you through out the store asking if you want them to take stuff up to the counter for you every 5 minutes. I've never had this happen at a Walgreens before.... Doubt that's normal. read more

This is based on the pharmacy alone. While they refused to dispense my medications and speak with and RN, the pharmacist was very very rude. He was a taller Indian man. I asked to speak to the pharmacist about possible interactions between the medications, in which he look at the computer screen and told me he couldn't dispense my meds, even though I had a handwritten script from my physician. When my physician called this location to speak with the same pharmacist he put them on hold four times (like 5 minutes on hold then pick up the phone to immediately put her back on hold) for a total of twenty minutes, which my RN said was extremely unheard of to make the providers wait on hold. Not only are the pharmacist rude, they are very demeaning and entitled. I went to pick up my anxiety medicine, and he literally watched me have an anxiety attack. As for the clerks that work at the front desk in the blue shirt, they have always been wonderful to me. Sad to say I won't be using this Walgreens pharmacy in the future, possibly any Walgreens pharmacy. Someone needs to change the pharmaceutical hierarchy that's going on at this location. Funny to say, i drove 20 minutes to a 24hr CVS to drop of another similar script. Ready in 5 minutes. It's been 3 days of prolonged and procrastinated agony at this Walgreens location pharmacy.
