Well, we thought about over lunch and just decided to just purchase a chair. Terri showed us the options and let us just try out the chairs on our own time. We never felt rushed. It was obviously more than we originally thought of doing, but we are sure we won't regret it in the future. The only thing that didn't make us happy, and why this isn't four stars, was the price tag. We picked the chair we liked best & thought the price was what was on the tag. There were options below the big price, like heat & massage, which were things that could be added to the base. Oh, but the material that the chair used was on that list (which we didn't realize because it was not a common name). It was not in the large number on the price tag and added $900 to the price. We didn't know this until we were checking out. We do not blame Terri for this, but the company that thought this was a good idea. The tag should have had the final price, before taxes & delivery not the base price if you could buy it off of the floor like we did.

The store has large selection medical supplies ( cushions, compression stockings). They also have bandages, vitamins, and other over the counter medicine. This store is average sized; however it has small section for everything. It's organized and clean. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The store also carries its own generic brand and brand name. The store opens 7 days per week. Monday to Friday: 9 am to 8pm Saturday & Sunday: 9 am to 4 pm. I definitely recommend if someone is looking for medical supplies.

Harrison was the pharmacy tech who helped me today, and even though he could not fully resolve the issue, he went above and beyond trying to help. He called Walgreens corporate, contacted my insurance company, paid attention to every detail, and maintained professionalism and care the entire time. You can tell he truly cares about his work and helping people, which is rare these days. Walgreens on the other hand really needs to improve their systems when it comes to dealing with secondary insurance because the system failed and never allowed my second insurance to pay the co-pay even though my insurance company stated it was approved. Harrison did everything he possibly could to help and represented the pharmacy extremely well.

If you can, I would avoid using them as they are not on top of their responsibilities to their customer and are not friendly.

I had a difficult time…read moregetting my doctor's office to call in the right prescription as I had just moved and my doctor was on vacation. Due to a lot of organizational problems at my doctor's office, this was pretty tricky but Pure Compounding managed to make this happen and I was able to pick up my prescription on a Saturday. Granted, I've only had 1 transaction so far with them, but I would give them 6 stars out of 5 at the moment if it were possible. The same medication that they're able to fill in usually under an hour takes Martin Avenue 72 hours! If you're familiar with Wellness Health, Park Compounding or Hopewell Pharmacy, these guys are on par if not better than them for specialized methylcobalamin treatment. They do regular potency checks on their methylcobalamin and provided me with a copy of this documentation upon request. They are also are able to ship out of state. The only strange thing is that they weren't able to get proper reimbursement from my insurance when Park Compounding Pharmacy was able to. However, I'm able to claim this on my own with my insurance and it saves me $25-$30/month on shipping when I'm in Illinois!
