The Pharmacy is the rudest and angriest group of people I deal with on a regular basis. I have submitted my insurance card 4 times yet every time I attempt to retrieve my medication my card is not in the system. I had a lady named Sheryl take over my issue. Sheryl's way of handling things it to scream into the speaker as if the customer did something personal to her. She is unhinged and out of control. I had to call the manager who kindly figured out half of my issue. With Amazon being an option and CVS down the street, you would be crazy to endure such verbal abuse to simply pick up medication. read more

Pharmacy staff like most Walgreens have bad customer service. They pick up the phone and immediately put you on hold without saying anything. I was on hold for 10 minutes while they kept picking up the phone and placing me back on hold without acknowledging the hold time. read more

Second person figured out why my script wasn't being accepted and called another pharmacy / got it straightened out and got me my RX in no time. I am usually only at this store when I'm sick which means my tolerance and patience is very low but each visit the staff makes me feel hopeful about a speedy recovery. The pharmacy staff are professional and pleasant, the drive through is convenient and quick, the cashier inside is always attentive and this store makes shopping with the flu a little easier. Definitely my go to Walgreens! Never had an issue with any employee! Photo department is great! Pharmacy is amazing and the front check out experience was fast and problem free. I think all the people complaining are more than likely the rude people that these employees deal with on a daily basis and just got the rudeness returned to them! Spoiler alert! I really like this store, the employees are friendly, and efficient. Marilou, that works in cosmetics, is an asset to the company. She's so personable, and very helpful. She has helped me on several occasions, and always goes the extra mile to help customers. Got a covid test last Thursday 9:00AM and was told I'd hear back in 24 to 72 hours. It's Monday afternoon and no email. That's a problem but my issue is that Walgreens won't let you talk to anyone. Absolute crap customer service. read more

Pharmacy needs some training. We received someone else's prescription one time. They are not very helpful. Another time we had a prescription that was thousands of dollars and we asked if they could reduce price (less than 2% of price) and they flat out refused. We now go across river to CVS to get our prescriptions and LOVE their service. read more

I always have an issue with their pharmacy. I have since switched my medications to Riley's in Geneva but my kids insurance is still at Walgreens. Every single time there is an issue. No communication between staff at all. Most recent issue that happened today, after my daughters oral surgery, I go to pick up the to prescriptions and am told only one is ready as insurance will only pay for the Tylenol and codeine for ages over 18. They've called the doctor and are waiting for override. Great that's good. Call back two hours later and someone else tells me it's ready. So I ask oh great so the insurance approved it. She looks it up and says no. Has no idea about the situation but I do. I tell them my daughter is in pain so how much is it without insurance. $22!? Well I would've gladly paid that in the first place if they had even told me and offered me the price without the insurance. So now my daughter is in pain and I have to go back to the chaotic crazy line inside or out. Communication between employees and with customers would be very helpful. I was misled, and then treated very rudely by pharmacists at this store. After I brought my nebulizer to my physician to see if she could figure out why it wasn't misting she wrote me a prescription for a new one because they are usually inexpensive. My last one purchased this spring was only $40 so I was surprised when the pharmacist told me it was $100. I told him I was hesitant to spend that much money when my old one might just need new tubing. He suggested I buy the tubing to see if I can get the old one working. He said that I could buy the nebulizer at the same time and return it unopened if it turned out I didn't need it. Well, that's exactly what happened, but when I tried to return it another pharmacist said they could not take it back. She was extremely rude, too. I was appalled at the horrible customer service, so I called the corporate office right away. They promised to look into it and call me back, but it's been three weeks and I've heard nothing. Considering there are three other pharmacies within a two block radius I would think Walgreen's would treat their customers better. I will be taking my business to Meijer from now on. I almost forgot - they kept me on hold for 30 minutes when I called before heading down there. Very unprofessional! read more

This place is awful. Every time we need a prescription filled and go here, they say 20 minutes and it takes over an hour. Even when they have the script directly sent to them more than 30 minutes before no matter what time of day. TERRIBLE pharmacy and we live around the corner and I still drive across town to CVS because their customer service and time estimates are always spot on or early. read more

Conveniently located, although not the closest Walgreen's to my house. This location is open 24 hrs which comes in handy for those late night sicknesses, aches/pains and injuries. I've always felt that the pharmacy staff is helpful and usually don't wait terribly long, although they are generally busy. The selection of cosmetics and such is pretty decent and Walgreen's has good sales on health & beauty stuff from time to time. The only negative is that I was waiting to ask an employee a question while she had a looooooong conversation about Harry Potter and Star Wars, are you kidding me? That night, I hightailed it over to Meijer. I find the staff is generally attentive but that conversation was insane. read more

I like this Walgreen's because they keep their store clean, retail products are almost always well stocked and usually not out of what I need. The pharmacy is friendly, generally quick and have gotten my scripts correct for over 2 years. I think their employees could improve on forming relationships with the customers that they see several times a week (that's me!). From my retail experience, customers usually like to go where they are recognized and appreciated. Overall, this is one of the better Walgreen's I have been to. read more

Want to send accolades to Shelly in Pharmacy for the help she provided in tracking down the much needed medication for my husband undergoing chemo. Shelly went out of her way to contact the Doctor and then called around to locate where the amount ordered could be purchased. She exemplifies outstanding customer service and should receive recognition for the time and effort she took to help us when it was really needed. I placed an online photo order and received an email 25 minuets later that my order was ready for pick up. I went in to find out that only 2 of the 3 photos were ready and was asked to come back later because the printer for the larger photos was backed up. Okay. A bit of an inconvenience, but not a big deal. Later that evening, I received another notification that my photos were ready. When I returned to the store, the woman working at the time was different than the girl I spoke to previously. She was an older woman with dark hair and glasses. She told me that they weren't ready. I mentioned to her what happened earlier in the day and told her I received another notification that my photo was ready. She rudely and loudly states, "IT'S NOT READY!" and storms away to the employee room next to the photo area. I was stunned at how I was spoken to. As I was standing there another employee exits and asks if I was okay and tells me, "She had a long day." I asked another employee if I could just cancel the order and the employee that just yelled at me moments ago storms out of the back room and is raising her voice again saying, "I told you the photo wasn't ready yet!" Obviously I already understood this, but wanted to cancel because I was completely disgusted as to how I was treated. I have never been treated so poorly. read more

My prescriptions have been filled accurately and without any hassle. I usually just submit a refill request online and come in later the same day to pick up my pills. On one occasion the staff passed along a message from my doctor asking that I call their office. Good to see them go beyond taking my money and giving me pills. read more

We use this pharmacy because it is in our network and costs are reduced. If I could get the in network costs for prescriptions somewhere else I would go there. Twice in the past 4 months one particular pharmacist has refused to fill a script for my wife. She has been on a medication for many many years, I am talking 30+ years. . Several months ago this female pharmacist aka the pill guard refused to fill the script because the wrong type of doctor wrote out the script even though that same doctor has written the script for more than 5 years each and every month. We have had Walgreens fill the script for all of these years so there was a loooooong trail to see where this doctor wrote the script. So we were forced to see the "right specialist" to get the script. Now she refused to fill the script because the doctor didn't write the script correctly. He left out "mg" after the name of the tablet. This pill guard seems proud when she "catches" something that allows her to not fill the script. I guess she is so busy if she can not fill one it is a good time management practice. If you go to this Walgreens try to get anyone but this female pharmacist. read more

This is a really nice Walgreens to shop at. The people working there are very courteous and very helpful. the management there is very nice as well. If you are lost and can't find something they find it for you right away. the pharmacy department is very friendly however it seems to be under staffed at certain times and runs a little slow. however the knowledge of the people working there make up for the wait time. read more
