I believe the young person working in the pharmacy should be wearing their mask correctly. Wearing it under the nose is essentially ineffective. Given their role in a pharmacy, I would expect them to have some understanding of medicine and science. It also sends a concerning message to customers about safety and health practices. idk, there's nothing wrong with this walgreens to me. the workers are pretty cool and helpful. the only problem i really have is that dove body wash is like over $11 and that products for yeast infections are almost $40 i think but other than that i can't really complain abt this walgreens. read more

Let me start with a positive. It only takes them 15 minutes to answer the phone. which for a pharmacy, is not the worst. However, if you actually need medication, do not take your prescription here. Whether it is incompetence or just lack of normal human concern for others, they will not help you. A prescription for my daughter was sent to this pharmacy. They did not have the medication, but waited to alert me to that fact. When I tried to find out what was happening, they indicated they had ordered it. Then they forgot to tell me that a medication order for a med not covered by our insurance is automatically canceled. After two more calls, they re-ordered it. But then didn't call again to say it hadn't arrived. At this point, 5 days have passed, 5 calls from me, each taking more than twenty minutes have been made, and as this is medication FOR MY CHILD, I am getting a little annoyed. They refused to send our prescription to a nearby pharmacy with the medication and then when I expressed that this was a problem, refused to tell me when or even if they would ever get the medication. Then they put me on hold, and in the act that will completely obliterate any chance I'll ever use this pharmacy again, they disconnected my call. So if you value your health, time, or children, probably go someplace else. read more

The worst. And has been for years. Nothing has improved since COVID and apparently they're still not operating under "normal protocols" despite being in year 3 post-pandemic. Today I was on hold for more than an hour and was disconnected twice while trying to obtain results from an in-store covid test. Since I couldn't get through by phone, I returned to the store to discover that YES there is covid in my house... AND NOW I'M WALKING IT BACK TO WALGREENS BC THEY DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. Their commitment to the community and customers is completely non-existent in spite of their marketing copy. AND btw: when I arrived at Walgreens, there was no line at the drive-thru, no line at the pharmacy counter, no line at the front check-out, and 4 technicians in the pharmacy... AND I WAS STILL ON HOLD. I asked the manager for insight on why the phone goes unanswered for more than an hour at a time, and she had no response other than "they're busy." They should be glad CVS is on strike. read more

After my ten-minute wait at their 'service window,' the staff couldn't locate my reservation for a Pfizer booster in their system. The pharmacy tech seemed to find that very amusing to my chagrin. I asked if they somehow could work me in and they flatly declined. Apparently Walgreens pays bottom of the barrel wages and attract the same quality of personnel. read more

The pharmacists are always prompt, efficient m, and friendly. We've née had any issues with prescriptions even when the renewals were inadvertently sent to the wrong location. They were able to correct this and refill them without any trouble. read more

Extremely slow service. No one at register to check me out. Need better customer service.

I've spent way too much time hanging out at Walgreens lately. Friday- went to pick up prescriptions for my parents. Their doctor had phoned the prescriptions into one location and they didnt have the meds. They tried to transfer the prescriptions to another location and only succeeded with 1 of 2. The Dodge and Main staff apparently can't look up prescriptions by patient, only by location. After spending 90 minutes on what should have been a 10-minute errand, I had to navigate the horrible automated phone system to Have the 2nd prescription transferred. Back again on Saturday I picked up the prescription and tried to get some covid tests but was told I'd have to wait for 40 minutes. back again on Sunday for a flu shot I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment with all my forms submitted electronically, only to wait 40 minutes and be asked to fill out a paper form because they couldn't handle the digital form. I think I'm done with Walgreens at Dodge and Main - and maybe with Walgreens in general. read more

Walgreens is Walgreens is Walgreens and it's usually not worth reviewing. The only reason I am writing this is so that the public record will show that this store has a Photo Center that still develops 35 mm film! I'm sure 99.999% of the population does not care about this and if you still use film, you probably have the logistics worked out. However, since I only shoot film once every blue moon, it's nice to have a place nearby that can develop and scan my negatives. Though I'm sure it's only a matter of time before this is no longer true (reverse jinx, right?). My only gripe is that I gave them two 24-exposure rolls and each roll had 27 shots on it, but they only scanned exposures 1-24. I guess this beggar can't be a chooser. read more

I'm happy to say this Walgreens has started hiring more pleasant and polite employees. The new people are great and make it much more enjoyable to shop there, which feels kind of silly saying it's pleasant going into a Wallgreens, but in any case it's much better now. read more
