I have told Walgreens twice that my stepdaughter is screaming and crying after dental surgery. Yes she is waiting for a prescription painkiller, her first ever, no she is not an addict. The delay is purely incompetence. Not supply chain, not "the system," not the weather. And they just don't care. These people don't belong in patient care. They should be selling hardware. Pharmacy is terrible. I will be transferring my prescriptions to Express Scripts. The pharmacy tech was incredibly rude. Rolled her eyes, kept walking away and not telling me what she was doing. Her mic sounded like she was on a static radio far away. I was in drive through. I told her not to get aggravated with me and she said she wasn't as she was rolling her eyes and overly sighing. Errors, shortages along with condescending attitudes, especially from David ; have done nothing but exacerbate situations which they had the authority to eradicate- but simply chose not to. After 30 years of exclusively using Walgreens for pharmaceuticals, vitamins, and so much more... I have no choice but to switch to another pharmacy in the new year. read more

Walgreens in general has become horrible. No communication ever. Last night after ED and severe ankle pain and swelling a script was sent here. We check out, then grab some Panda Express drive through and then head over and they say 25 more mins. This is at 9pm at night. How busy can 9pm be? So i say please transfer to barnhart loc, they say they will. Go to barnhart this morning and what do you know,,, they have nothing. Call festus again hoping to get this as the pain is picking up and they say Monday (as today is Saturday). Seriously??? I called Walmart to transfer it. Please dont waste your time here. They need to be put out of business as this hasn't been the only problem. read more

Made an appointment for a 2 hour COVID test. Over 24 hours later still no contact. Calling the pharmacy I was greeted with someone who wouldn't speak over a whisper so I could understand them. The person then went silent while the line was still open. Walgreens has decreased in quality and reliability in the last decade or so IMO and judging by the previous reviews I'm not alone in this observation. I gave one star just so I could voice my concerns. read more

Walgreens used to be a great place to shop with plenty of values for most everyone. Now it's just a big rip off. I don't expect them to compete head to head on everything but meds/vitamins shouldn't be 50% higher than the store across the street. I'll find someplace else to shop and get my scripts filled. After picking up 5 prescriptions..... I gotta to wondering why I almost always only had 1 pill left in a couple at time of refill.... of the 5 bottles; 2 had an overage of 1 and 2 had a shortage of 1 and 1 was perfect. when I called to talk to the Pharmacist about it she was defensive because the 2 that were shorted by 1 were controlled substances. I don't care if they count their inventory.....the count won't reflect the actual and overage or shortage by them..... count your pills folks... skimming 1 at a time and adds up fast. I will be changing pharmacy's as soon as I check prices. This also happened in AZ also. read more

Pharmacy staff is completely unhelpful. The computer system is terrible that you have to go through with which you contact a human. It never understands a word you say even though it repeatedly asks you to talk to it. You would think a multi million dollar company could afford a more functional computer answering system. read more

My recent encounter with the pharmacy was utterly disappointing. I scheduled an appointment for the flu shot online multiple days prior to coming in. My scheduled appointment was for 12:30pm. I arrived at 12:10pm and waited in a lengthy line before being "checked in". I was informed that the pharmacist would be with me "soon". They were clearly over booked, as the were about 20 waiting customers. After waiting for over an hour, I finally asked the staff when I would be seen. The pharmacy staff was rude. She informed me the pharmacist was still trying to print off consent forms. Yes.... apparently I waited over an hour without any communication from their staff on their inability to print off a consent form. Simply unprofessional and unacceptable. Communication is key, simply having staff explaining their difficulties and giving them the option to come back would have been acceptable. Needless to say, I left and did not get my flu shot. Who knows how much longer I would have been there. read more

There has been an accuracy issue with my prescription almost every time I've been to this location and in the past year there's been about three months that I've been able to pick up my prescription without some kind of issue. The staff is either completely incompetent or just lazy and customer service is nonexistent. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere, ANYWHERE, else to get your medicine. read more
