Had my rv parked at festus walmart with permission from the manager. Two days later i come back and find it missing. Asked walmart and they said they didn't tow it. Called the police and they told me pippin had towed it off. Was charged $730 to have it towed 2 miles away and stored less than 24 hours. Apparently they have a contract with pippin that lets them rip people off that have no where else to go read more

Now this is a true SuperCenter, but man does it have some serious flaws. First off, for the amount of people that use this place its' stock is lacking but that's all a matter of knowing the best times to go in and when they stock. One major concern is how they blatantly refuse to deal with the grounding problem they have on the grocery side of the store. If you touch any of the freezers, chillers, or metal shelving near the walls you'll usually get a jolt. It's been brought to the attention of managers several times and they don't take it seriously or really press on their maintenance people to deal with it properly. Another major flaw is how the parking lot is designed and who they regularly allow in. Again, there's quite a few people in the area and many speed thru here like mad, regardless of the amount of adults or children clearly walking. Then there's their parking lot regulars as there's always some musician playing, homeless begging for change, or just so random wandering around looking into the back of trunks or peering thru windows. read more

Don't shop in here unless you want to be harassed and NOT just by one person.. a few staff members. At first, I thought I did something wrong when I talked to the manager here he said, "Oh they do that" WHAT? And nobody did anything about it? They looked real dumb accusing me of stealing.. they checked me and NOTHING. Embarrassed for nothing. I don't steal. After all of this harassment "slowed down" the one order lady snatched my water bottle from me when I walked in and wrote on it with permanent marker.. I left and never came back. I don't know what these people's issues are. And it's funny that someone else was getting harassed as well while I was walking out. read more

Rude disrespectful store management. The store regularly messes up online orders and if you happen to need a scooter cart, forget it. There are never enough of them and the ones that are there aren't usually charged. Trying to bring any of this up to the store manager gets you a rude, disrespectful response from the store manager. Go elsewhere for your shopping needs. This place needs to be closed or it needs new employees and managers. read more

I had a Walmart-Festus grocery pickup for yesterday, May 19th, from 1-2pm. I wasn't going to be able to make that time and when I called they told me to come as soon as I can. With the severe weather we were having it was 6pm when I arrived. It was raining really bad at the time. There were at least 15 cars there for pickup before me. Due to the weather they were calling cars to pull up to the door one at a time. Once it slowed down some, not much but a little, the crew was back to running groceries out to parked cars. The crew was soaking wet and yet they greeted me with a smile and were extremely pleasant. I was loaded and pulling out by 6:20pm. OUTSTANDING and VERY IMPRESSIVE! My only regret is I didn't get the two young men's names. read more

A HUGE store and TWO LANES were open around 6:00 p.m. in the middle of the week? Newsflash...that's when people stop there - on their way home from work! Also with all the crime occurring and thefts, why don't you consider paying an off-duty police officer(s) to work security 24/7 at your stores? This place never has scooters ready. We're waiting again for over 20 minutes and still no scooters plus there's a line of ppl who need them. Maybe they should try to plug them in where there's always enough for everyone. This is the only place besides Target in Arnold that we have a problem with getting a scooter for my mom. Very disappointing to have to wait. They are trying to get some if there is any on the parking lot yet they have 6 all being charged. So i just left Walmart Festus where i was grocery shopping because they have no bathroom. There are no signs or posting stating that you must exit the gardening side of the building to use a porterpotty. So in the middle of shopping my 2 year old starts dancing stating " i gotta peed". So i rush her to the closest bathroom in the back of the store. Yeah they are all locked. Manager states that there is nothing he can do we have to some how make it to the far side of the store. I am so angry and he didnt tell me where outside they were, i just got lucky that i went out the right door. Please share this so walmart knows how stupid they are. The self check out ladies watch me like a hawk the entire time me and my family are checking out. We always get stopped by the door greeted asking for a receipt. We show them the receipt and the go through our bags! I called the manager who said they aren't allowed to being doing that unless it is I bagged. However, they can't go through your bags! When I walk around looking for my items workers will walk right out in front of me instead of saying "Sorry, excuse me". Worst Walmart I've been in yet. Very rude and disrespectful employees. They refuse to help if asked, they claim it's not their job. They do not honor their return policy either. (hard to believe I know) I tried to return a defective electronic item days after buying it...they threw out every excuse in the book then when I told them there's no reason I should be denied due to it being a few days old and that I had my receipt and I was well within the guidelines, they accused me of tampering with it and they couldn't do anything. No money back, no exchange, nothing. All I got was disrespect, a large monetary loss, and a security escort. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to Arnold if you really must shop at a Walmart. read more

Walmart Shopping is great and employees very helpful. Pharmacy department as a whole is rude, unhelpful, and just plain miserable to deal with! I'll drive to a Medicine Shoppe and pay more just to not be irritated by some overpaid asshole. I'm sure some of the employees are fine buy it's always a select few that ruin it for everyone... and by unhelpful and rude, I mean their attitude just stinks and they wouldn't take an updated discount card so that they could charge me an extra $10- $15 per medicine. This Wal-Mart recently stepped it's game up in recent times. Moved the electronics department, and some other departments, but that isn't what this fucking review is about. This Wal-Mart is great if you like running into old co-workers, NASCAR fans, unsuitable parents and their freak show offspring, and low prices. I always get lost in this bitch. Self-checkout is nice, that way I don't get eggs and bread smashed under canned goods, or pies dropped in a bag sideways anymore. But we're still stuck with PICKLED cucumbers instead of regular ones, which even the updated self checkout screens make note of! Also, I'm a toy collector and this store had two...no wait, no less than SIX Marvel Legends figures returned and restocked with wrong figures packed in. People have been complaining of these "swap outs" since they switched to this packaging several years ago, and there are multiple sites dedicated to this THIEVERY. Usually it's just stealing/swapping out the BAF part to make the "bonus" figure (noted on bottom of back of package), but this store has accepted SIX COMPLETELY DIFFERENT contents! It's NOT that hard to turn the figure over and look at the back to see who SHOULD BE PACKAGED inside. Esp when the package clearly states "Spider-Man" and contains someone entirely different. There are very few figures sharing a package, and even then it's TWO choices. When the contents don't even come close to what the package says, your store is guilty of abetting and accepting STOLEN MERCHANDISE. read more
