This is the third time I've had issues with the pharmacy when it concerns my daughter getting antibiotics. The last time they didn't know how to type the correct letters of her name. This time they are out of antibiotics and tried saying she didn't have a prescription when they called my phone and said it was ready. Not to mention they are extremely rude and can tell they don't like their job. Would not recommend them for anything. Also they don't even know how to put receipt paper in correctly so I had a blank receipt. The only reason I go there is because Walgreens stopped using blue cross blue shield. People ask me why I write reviews, and my answer to them is to help draw business to their establishment, when its deserved. this is one of those times. I didn't start shopping at CVS until later in their existence, I was more annoyed at the fact that they were popping up everywhere you looked. but once I shopped at one I was impressed. they offered most of the same stuff I used to purchase at their competitors locations. This CVS is no different. I like how this store is very well maintained like their other locations, the workers are all very knowledgeable with the stores inventory and where everything is located. they are also very helpful when you have questions and concerns. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for with a great deal of ease, which made my shopping experience a very pleasant thing. I like the fact that the prices I pay on prescriptions is low and better than what I have paid at other stores, and with the cost of medicine now days, that's a real plus in my book. since moving into the area, I do all of my shopping for medications, and health related items, in addition to being convenient for quick pick ups of other items, when you cant get them at other stores. read more

Seriously the nicest employees you could get at a drugstore. I've learned the managers' names just from my frequent couponing trips, and even the part-time young ladies who I see working there often are always so sweet and offering to let my toddler pick out a sucker from their little stash behind the counter. They're also very, very patient and completely welcoming of my couponing (please keep in mind I try to coupon in a store-friendly manner and follow coupon limits, etc.) which is a rarity. read more

Always have problems filling prescriptions. Called ahead of time and then still had to wait 40 mins. First time went through drive thru and said it would be 20 mins after i had called it in and then went inside after the 20 mins and then got told i had to wait another 20 mins read more

The customer service at the CVS Pharmacy in Crystal City is beyond unprofessional.I always have to wait way longer than I should to pick up my prescriptions, and I am never greeted when I arrive . They are either way overworked, or hate their job, or both. I went in there multiple times to get my flu shot, and each time they had an excuse as to why they couldn't help me- one time the computer was down, the other times I either was never waited on, or they said come back another day because they were so short staffed.it is just ridiculous how horrible the customer service is there. read more
