Walgreens has efficiently combined the best programs for loyal customers like myself on the computer with tab in my phone number. I get lots of discount and coupons that I use so that goes well but also the employees are really fabulous. They really care about the customers. I feel like they personally know me and look out for me and lift things for me and do things for me because I just had shoulder surgery and, they're just wonderful So Walgreens has a combination of the best of the new and the best of the old at good old Walgreens. read more

I will no longer use Walgreens...ANY Walgreens! The store I am closest to is the one in Franklin, Va. The pharmacy is the HUGE problem. They hardly ever answer the phone. If they do, you sit on hold for 20 minutes only to get disconnected. The lines to pick up a prescription are ridiculous. They no longer have Saturday hours and the pharmacy closes at 7pm...if it even opens at all for the day. I have to request to leave work early just to go pick up a prescription. I am 52 and have never dealt with such horrible service when it comes to a pharmacy. It just needs to go ahead and close if that's the best they can do! I have now started using a small hometown pharmacy. Soooooo much better! read more

Great drugstore in town. It's always neat, properly stocked with lots of items, even seasonal things and great touristy clothing for the town. It's better than any of the Walgreens where I live in NYC. The staff is also very polite and sweet. I shopped here almost every week if not every other week thanks to all the deals and coupons they have and accepted. It's definitely worth stopping in if you are in town. read more

First off let me just say I used to work for this company and when I did it was such a better ran pharmacy with the staff we had!!!!! We never treated our patients the way that they are being treated by the staff that is running it now. The Walgreens in franklin, VA is a horrible ran pharmacy and they treat their customers/patients horribly...... Recent event..... My sister's not even 10-month-old baby was diagnosed with covid-19 and was trying to pick up her son's script that day after they finished his appointment. Once she got to the pharmacy she was told with the attitude that it would take 4-6 hours just to get her sick baby's medication. This is a pediatric dose, there's a difference it's for a baby, child not an adult...... it's a different situation if it was for her but it was for her sick baby who she was worried about that she just found out that he has diagnosed wh covid, have some respect and manners; she's only a parent that is very worried about her baby and his well being and you're going to tell her that it's going to take that long to fill his script. I completely understand that they may be short-staffed and behind on filling scripts but take into consideration the situation. Then when I ( her sister that is a Chpt pharmacy technician knows all about being short-staffed and being busy and having a ton of scripts to fill but there are proper ways to treat your patients and their situations it's called being professional and taking the patients needs and concerns it to consideration.) had my pharmacist call over to Walgreens to get it transferred to my pharmacy they were told that they didn't have anything in their system for that patient....... I then messaged my sister and told her I would personally stop by the pharmacy and visit them therefore I did and spoke with an associate named Kim, she stated they did have his script and that it would be ready by the next morning. I explained to her that we called to get it transferred and the pharmacist told my pharmacist that they didn't have anything in their system for him. I then proceeded to let her know she will be picking this up for him tomorrow. Well, tomorrow came and I told my sister if she had any problems to text 911 to my phone. Needless to say, I got the 911 text. I then had my pharmacist call over to transfer the script once again and the pharmacist once again lied and told my pharmacist that they had nothing in their system for the patient. I messaged my sister about it and let's just say she finally got the medication after having to wait till later that day. That will be the last time she uses this sorry excuse for a pharmacy...... MIC DROP!!!!!!!!! I hope this helps anyone and everyone that may want to choose this for their pharmacy please think twice bc you will definitely be disappointed!!!!!! read more

This is a big business with a small town staff that's fast and friendly. FYI this locations was bought out by Walgreens 2 years ago.
